This is what I could afford when I got a sharpening system and it works great imho . It holds the blade at the same angle and I haven’t had any issues with it for about a year now . I must have re profiled close to 100 knives with this system . It’s a great alternative compared to other more pricey models in the market . I m just here to say this is the system I learned on and will continue to use it . Not everyone wants to spend $250 -$1000 for a sharpener but $50 will get er done

Thank you, great idea! How did you agjust the diameter of the buffing from 16mm to the sameller 15,5 mm? Does a file a sandpaper do or do you loose symmetry?
You can use an electric drill to rotate the workpiece, and then clean it with sandpaper.

How did you grind or resize bushing?
I changed the size of the sleeve with a drill and sandpaper.
Can I fit a 10x16x12 busing into the main body without any modification?
I had to adjust the size to the parameters of the sharpener

I don't understand where the extra bushing is needed. you state in the parts, 10 X 16 X 20mm + 10 X 16 X 16mm but it looks like you are modifying a 10 X 16 X 12mm bushing to fit the unique shape of the shaft. did you cut the brass bushing down to the 12 mm length and then sand it down more?
also, do you feel the Ruixin brand precision angle adjustment upgrade is better than the custom upgrade you developed in a previous video or is your custom solution good enough?
I just showed you 2 options to choose from, you can make a plastic bushing or a bronze bushing, both work well.
@@ArtTemaMix you use both the fine tune angle adjustment from the brand itself and your custom-made one. Which one do you prefer? Also, I noticed you made a modification to the base plate on the branded angle adjustment upgrade
Are the diamonds electroplated or glued in??? Id assume theyre glued for that price...how long will they last before the diamonds all fall out?
The diamonds electroplated. For home use, mine have been working for more than 4 years.

Это не латунная втулка, а медно-графитовая. Материал по плотности и твёрдости очень схож с силумином. Так что износ будет плюс минус одинаковый.
