Why The Rating Gun Can't Rate Sampo & March? | Honkai Star Rail Lore

- Deep within the Herta space station is a a collection of curios with weird and wonderful abilities and among this collection is the rating gun, a gun that can seemingly rate any individual who goes near it. Every person who uses it will receive a numerical value from the rating gun from 0-100 but for some reason the rating gun cant rate Sampo & March 7th.
Why does this happen? Is the rating gun just defective or is there something hidden in Sampo and March past that has yet to be revealed. In this video we will discuss this rather interesting mystery as I blow out of proportion what seems to just a simple easter egg into an 8 minute video. So without elaborating further Why cant the rating gun rate sampo and march?
Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.

inb4 March is actually Idrila the Beauty, who disappeared (in this case, was frozen solid by Fuli). Much like Fuli, the path of Beauty would also explain her love for taking photos, the beauty of the world around her
I like this idea. Her technique is also called "Freezing Beauty" if that adds to the theme.

If you go to March's room and look at her pictures you will see some that she wasnt present for or couldnt take a picture during so it could make sense that she is collecting memories

A bunch of those "photos" are screenshots of the game.
you can ascribe a deeper meaning to them, but Occam's Razor would lead me to conclude that the Devs took screenshots of cool moments while playing the game and then set them to roll on March's wall to represent player progress in the story.
The projector in Belobog's museum does the same thing, it projects a video that would have been impossible to record. because it displays mostly concept art.

Interesting theory. Sampo being emanator to Elation could be true. I just don’t think Sampo was talking to us. He did speak to an audience, but not the players.
He probably belongs to the Masked Fools, followers of Elation Aha who just wreak chaos across the universe just for fun. Sampo was basically streaming his deeds to other members.
In the simulated universe some events are about a tavern with masked people. (Usually cowboy fights, or you can choose to fight A, B or both of them.) That is the meeting place for the Masked Fools and Sampo mentions a tavern in his fourth wall speech.
Sampo is a lot like what Masked Fools are. Not really “good” or “evil”, just doing anything to never be boring or bored. Why wouldn’t Aha resonate with him.
I’m interested to know more of him. Chaos is fun but can also be dangerous.
I have a question. If Sampo wasn't speaking to us, then why was there a dialog option that said we dreamed about him?
Was he basically talking to anyone who would listen, which are the players?

My thought was that it’s a same power we used to connect into Cocolias memories in our dreams before. That could have been just a link toward the other stellaron, but we have been able to do other things too. Like speak with the fraction monsters. Maybe having a stellaron inside you makes you more “receptive” of things, especially related to the all aeons. That’s why you’re the interesting bait in Simulated Universe to get Aeons to speak to you. You’re kind of tuned onto special channels that most can’t get 😅

also wouldn't that mean cocolia was the emanator of Qlipoth the preservation because she (the stelleron) communicated with us via dreams?
@@BostonCreme no. Cocolia was linked to MC solely due to the Stellaron. All the Cocolia memories we see in dreams have the Stellaron in it too.
We weren't dreaming of Cocolia, we were dreaming of the Stellaron... Which happened to be with Cocolia.

There's a difference. March, Sampo and Jing Yuan are all "Rating Invalid", meanwhile Clara, Sushang and Bailu are no rating

I mean, Savrog fights for clara, Bailu uses medicine she has made and Sushang is fairly new to being a soldier/guard.
Here’s a cool theory: The person who provides the memory of chaos said that if she did something forbidden she would be forced to lose her name, identity, memories and possibly existence (where no one ends up remembering her- idk if all that’s true tho) which sounds awfully similar to what happened to March 7th- maybe she managed to survive was because Fuli had something else planned for her like you said- but it could explain why no one remembers her

This theory does hold ground, there’s even evidence in March’s in game kit, as even though in combat she’s considered Preservation, and she does well enough with that role, her skills are more focused on inflicting freeze and ice weakness break (which applies freeze).
Honestly, that’s why I’ve been wondering if I should keep the effect hit rate armor or change it for a def one so I can get full defense set.
This theory is ringing more true now. It doesn't rate Acheron either.

I was thinking about March like 3-4 days ago and came to the same conclusion, her obsession with photos is such an obvious hint to Fuli (also remember the scene from luo fu when dang heng sees her crystals and says like "yeah march were there", it was like her crystals heavily implying the concept of making timestamps or marks that point to past events). Same goes for Sampo, from the moment I've read the line about masked fools in the SU, I knew with whom he was close to. however I don't have the General, and I didn't know much about his lore so thank you for you for the hypothesis about connecting them together!
for jing yuan, he's prob an emanator bcz of the luofu following lan, and his weapon was made from a piece of the lux arrow made by lan
Idk bro, that part of Dan Heng seeing March's crystal seems like a stretch
March wanting to remember everything and make concrete memories to hold by taking pictures is also a good character writing. It feels very understandable from a person who has lost all their memories once before.
But linking it to Remembrance would be a cool next step…

i think it's more likely that sampo is part of the masked fools rather than an emanator of aha but it could also be possible that everyone in the masked fools are granted powers by aha just because aha just does it for fun just like how one time he made a worm gain the powers of an aeon just for fun

The theory seems good, but if being an eminator of an aeon gives such results, than that would mean that Herta should also have the same rating, as she is an eminator of Nous the erudition. However, she is rated very low, 3 points if I'm not mistaken, which may disprove this theory. One explanation for Herta's low score may be that she uses puppet bodies, but it may also be a defective of random scoring curio.
I think it's just because of the puppet thing. I'd imagine eventually we will get a 5 star Herta who is the real one and have her emanator powers on full display.
But the thing is, we don’t know what the scoring means and how they relate to each other. Getting a higher number isn’t necessarily better :)
Well yea it's rating the body in front of it, a weak puppet that's being controlled by her is what we have, not the emanator herself
@@naoz9228 If it rates the bodies in front of it, it would also explain Hooks score being close to Welt/Herta, especially if we assume that it rates a character's potential/how close they are to that potential. As a kid, Hook can't grow as strong as if she were an actual teen or young adult, and her as a teen/adult would be different than her as a kid

I wouldn't say that march's theory has a hole, more of a unbuilt bridge since the leader of the stellaron hunters literally left out key info to kafka due to the mind reading abilities from Xianzhou and given the fact that the Fuli's followers literally have the ability to take and view memories it would be dumb to leave her with memories that can be traced.
I’m here after 2.1 to pass on some very important info about this theory.

My first time interacting with that gun was with March, Sampo and Jing Yuan on my team so I thought it only rated MC before I saw videos about this.
I really like this theory of March and Sampo being emanators. The connections between March and Fuli are so strong too, what with the memory loss and wanting to take pictures of everything to never forget them. And the fact that the path of Preservation in the Simulated Universe is all about freezing things

March even mentions in her character story that she doesnt view her 'six-phased ice' as actual ice but rather as condensed crystals which is another link to Fuli
If I remember correctly, Jing Yuan also receives an invalid rating, and Sushang does not even receive a rating of any kind (she doesn't even get the "invalid text") it's as if the rating text has been skipped, but the weird thing is that her (? or more likely the player's?) reaction to the rating is still there, as if she was given a rating, we just can't see the rating.
Sushang's rating could have been an accident but either way it's still worth mentioning because of how fishy it is.
I know i might be wrong, but im thinking if characters from HI3 come up with invalid text, can anyone find out for me?

Anyways, the bottom text always changes each time you use it, so it doesn’t matter, the score is what matters.

Sampo biggest link to Elation is not that he breaks 4th wall but he performs for The Tavern, an entertainment hub for Elation.

I believe the gun rates people based on how closely related they are to whatever aeon they are part of in some way. March, Sampo, and Jing yuan have very close if not direct connections their aeons whether that be through having a portion their power or whatever. MC has a rather high score but it isnt invalid because the MC as a person isnt directly connected to an aeon and its mainly the stellaron affecting their score because well stellarons can do many crazy things. It could also be that the MC can only get so close to an aeon and doesnt have an invalid score because they can have more than one path cannonicaly
That's kind of what I was thinking the lower the better to throw us off like golf the lower the score the better
I think the rating of the gun is more likely to do with the path they are taking vs the characters actual path. For example Sampo should be Elation not Nihility, March should be Remembrace not Perservation, Jingguang shouldn't be Erudition he should be Hunt (story wise). I'm guessing other characters like Clara, for example, her path is Destruction but that path is more Svarog than her, she seems more abundance perhaps ? Susshang isn't sure of what her path is yet since she is just starting her "journey" she is just Hunt because that's the "nation's path" and Bailu is a child, who have to take the job of cure people, so didn't got much of a choice for the moment. That's my theory, sorry if I write any names wrong

Black Swan is an Emanator of Fuli the Remembrance, but her rating is 61 (according to the wiki, I don't have Black Swan)
I like this theory! I also think March has a lot more secrets about her origin than it looks like. Her eidolons are also all about memory. The gun can rate the Trailblazer who has a whole ass Stellaron in their body, so I think anything short of that is being a straight up Emanator who has unlimited access to the Imaginary Energy of their Paths. Herta's puppets probably have a different energy source other than their Path which makes them still rate-able.
The funny thing is that the rating gun could just be a gag and this whole thing might be just a joke by the devs or something. Ive also seen some people suggest that the gun was made by someone who follows the path of elation and its just to troll people 😂
3:29 some crack theory i made about march. she could be emanator of rememberance, or atleast has some close connection to Fuli because the ice that she was sealed in looks similar to Fuli's mirror shards, she wakes up not remembering anything, and her hobby is taking pictures(collecting memories)
In her lore, she even mentions that her 'ice' abilities dont seem like ice to her. March sees them more like crystals which coincidentally is what Fuli appears to be made out of

yes but everyone keeps ignoring the fact literally right after sampo broke the 4th wall, we have an option to say that sampo was in our dream. meaning that it wasn't even real. especially because we only see the scene when we go to sleep.

@Kayn let me explain. cocolia visions were presumably there just because our connection to the stellaron as dan heng and other sources stated, not to mention we had those visions while being awake as well. the vision we saw with sampo was only after we slept. im not saying the possibility doesn't exist im just saying that people shouldn't ignore the factor that it could just be a dream and if the idea is that sampo is an emanitor, then why haven't we seen any visions for jing yuan and herta?
i think the gun does detect emanators with the "invalid" response. recently i had gotten Acheron and it is confirmed that she is a emanator of nihility. after seeing this video i went to check her with the rating gun, and she gotten a invalid score as well.

ig becuz most of the charas r blessed with longevity from the aeon of abundance(i think). That would make sense
I had theorized that march was an aeon. I mean we know her memories would be very harmful to her if they were to be unlocked and she has a mysterious past.
We also don’t know if a aeon has truly died for example Akivili is theorized to be dead, but they could be alive somewhere.
She seems to align the most with Idrilla, as she has a love for beauty and photos. (It’s also cool to think that Argenti met the Aeon he loves so much without even realizing it)
The reason is pretty straight forward for Sampo especially now, he's not a complete being anymore. All Masked Fools who follow Aha are like the Fatui of Teyvat, they give up their identity, their personality, their self. Kunikuzushi died and Scaramouche was born. The artifacts in Genshin go over how it's more of a spiritual process than just a physical one, that they become their rank. From Sparkle's trailer this is seemingly the same but a much more intense degree. While the Fatui still exist, the real people are still there, Tartaglia goes home to his family as Ajax, it seems like the opposite isn't the same for members of the Masked Fools. the statement "I'm just Sparkle" and "My beloved mask, when I'm smiling, you're smiling too" and devolving from there. continuing on until we get to "It's you my beloved mask," to "You're like a mirror, showing my reflection and the one in the mirror, that's Sparkle". and until "I'm not Sparkle, no, I'm Sparkle." Sparkle, whoever she is or was, has undergone a seemingly total death of id and ego and destroyed the original personality of who she as a person was, Sparkle is Sparkle, Sparkle is the Veil, Sparkle is the mask, and she is Sparkle. And it looks like the same thing has happened to Giovani and Sampo, sure they can take off their masks, they can seemingly remove some of that connection to Aha but it doesn't matter, they are no longer themselves. Whoever they were, that person is dead now, they are Sparkle, they are Giovani, they are Sampo. They are whoever and whatever the mask is. And Sampo doesn't have his mask, Sparkle has it. She's seemingly had it since before he touched down on Jarilo-IV and that's why the gun can't read him. He's Sampo, yes, but he's not actually Sampo or he's not the complete Sampo.

Interestingly, she does mention that her current weapon, a bow, doesnt feel like the weapon of a heroine. So who knows, you might get what you wish for 😂

Dang I didn't even think about the thought that March's hobby of taking pictures is similar to the Garden of Recollections making Light Cones from memories.
Well, I can tell you now that Black Swan, supposedly an Emanator of the Remembrance (there is dialogue in a quest that says all Memokeepers are Emanators, though that’s the only proof we have), has a score of 61.

What if Sampo is Aha all along in disguise and investigating the MC thinking he/she is Akivili The Trailblazer.
Aha are multiple entities crammed into one, so he may only be one of them, since he doesn't show any signs of having multiple personalities
well, i have a theory that the gun doesn't actuall rate people. for some of the characters, it gives confusingly low scores, and the text even says "it would be a peculiar prank indeed if the gun was actually giving random numbers" or something along those lines. what if the whole point of the gun is that its a joke?
That doesn't actually contradict the theory in the video - the gun gives random numbers on a whim, but when it sees March and Sampo (Sushang too apparently?), it senses something and refuses to cooperate further. Honestly, I hope March gets Dan Heng treatment (if the leak is true).

If someone made this thing as a joke, then just generating random numbers is enough, why give the gun a hit of personality and ability to refuse to rate something that it doesn't like? Not to mention it comes out way too often statistically, if there's such a high chance the gun won't rate you at all, then it becomes pretty much pointless.

@@heenthousiast383 I think in that case most people would just get bored and/or assume the gun is broken and put it away. Which definitely isn't the end result rating gun's creator was aiming for, if their intention was to troll people.
I think that March is the eminator of remembrance and the reason she can’t remember her past is possibly because in order to become an eminator of remembrance you must first forget. And then later when you need to remember your past you will and that will unlock your powers as an eminator. I also think it’s possible that sampo could be a eminator of elation however it could also be bc the masked fools being so unpredictable that they simply aren’t rateable bc of how unpredictable they are

Maybe March 7th is a bad memosnatcher and Fuli imprisoned her for stealing buncha memories, or maybe she's one of those historical fictionologists that got on Fuli's watchlist so she crystalized her

Just found this video and it's intriguing me to try them out. Just realized that Luocha is also can't be detected by the rating gun. But Herta, who is an emanator of Erudition is rated just fine, and get 4.
You said that the aeon of remembrance is anywhere a major event happens. If you check march's room and her photos the MC says that many of the photos couldn't have been taken by march and in many of these events she wasn't even there
On the other end of the scale SW mentions in the cutscenen the Gun rates from 0-100 she herself gets a rating from over 100.

It's a particularly electronic voice, too. I've got good odds on Silverwolf having hacked it simply to give herself an unbeatable score.

I like the idea that an emanator of an aeon doesn't have to follow the path of their aeon.
Aha has previously made a random worm an emanator (or rather gave it a lot of power) so it seems that there isnt any specific condition for the aeons to bless or share their powers

Turns out that Acheron is indeed the emanator of nihility.
The thing about sampo is his relation to aha.and as we know in lore aha once spend years dusguising as a human to join akivili trailblazer just to ended with a prank that explode some of akivili train and a planet.
at the present Penacony event Black Swan says something about a memokeeper who likes to record their memories on a camera
the way the astral express shoots over fuli's neck, what if he's already dead, and all that's left behind is him memory maintaining the path of rememberance.

JingYuan, March and Sampo aren't rateable and with Clara, Bailu and Sushang, the pistol remains silent
bailu is a reincarnated her past form is still unknown, clara probably is an artifical human, and sushang has xuanyuan sword one of divine keys in HI3
Since the three so far who have received invalid ratings are March, Sampo, and Jingyuan, then the rating system if meaning anything at all, would very likely be based on something related to Aeons/Paths specifically rather than other factors. Seeing as the game is about a journey, and paths are different condensed philosophies, the rating could indicate how close a character is to arriving at a clear personal ideology (sort of like the clarity of path ahead of them from their own perspective)? And characters with no ratings could be ones who are not really concerned with Aeon paths maybe ? in Sushang's case she was pretty unfamiliar with the story between Lan and Yaoshi (she said she didn't really go to school) (I'm probably very wrong lmao)
honestly, i feel like the idea of them being emanators or somehow related to the aeons would be cool and possible now that we have acheron, who also has an invalid rating
my only thing is that herta, who is also an emanator has a rating of 4 points... i wonder if that applies to the real herta, or if it's only because the herta we have is a puppet of the real deal

Hm, Sampo being a Wind and Nihilist is something that struck me,
Nihilism being Pointless and Meaningless Actions according to the loading screen and Wind being something that Moves Aimlessly going through where others of it lead.. And noting that the Aeon of Nihility is a Image of a Black Hole which shows a "Ring Revolving" and him using Ring Blade Boomerang like Weapon is something to take in consideration

Something I thought about is that the wall photos in March's room. It says some photos were taken by someone else. Maybe Fuli?
this is an interesting theory! before i heard about the emanator theory i used to think march wasn't human but instead some celestial being or sth which is why the gun wouldn't rate her

Hindsight but so far, all emanators have been unratable, excluding one that was a borrowed power emanator.
Sampo is now confirmed to be a Masked Fool, but far from an emanator. After Black Swan and Sparkle's story quest, Sampo is seen talking to Sparkle and Sparkle giving Sampo his mask back, which means he lost the title of "Masked Fool" until helping Sparkle, which makes him seems like an unimpressive Masked Fool. The reason the rating gun can't rate Sampo is probably because the Masked Fools are never what they seem and their true identity is mostly hidden
That makes sense, the rating gun just cant rate them given their rather unstable or chaotic nature. Though it still begs the question of what exactly the rating gun actually rates. Say if it actually rates power levels or something, despite being rather chaotic entities, their true strength wouldnt really change. But again that depends on what the gun actually rates, i just made the assumption in the video its power levels, it could very well be anything even their devotion to an aeon or something
but sparkle's rating is 55
This conjecture proved true so far since Luocha, an emanation of abundance and Acheron, a self annihilate and emanation of Nihility, also cannot be rated
i was thinking she could have possibly been akivili or the trailblaze if you prefer partly from the gun but also from that memory thing that you could buy in penacony very much so kinda sounds like pom pom is talking to march in that scene
I don't get where your statement that it took Welt, Himeko, and an unknown third nameless a long time to free her came from? March gives a vague statement indicating she thought they'd done something to free her from the ice, but if you talk to Welt and Himeko about it they say they didn't do anything. Just "as soon" as they brought her aboard, the ice melted by itself. The third nameless you state is unknown is also all but stated to be Void Archives. So none of that section is accurate.
I think I might have misremembered that part, himeko mentioned that it took welt a lot of work to get her back to the express and says that after that the ice melted not long after. So yeah i mixed up the effort welt took to bring her back with melting the ice to free her, thanks for pointing that out
i have a theory march is possibly blessed by fuli,and fuli sealed march's memories of her past away because something super traumatic happened and march will only regain those memories when shes ready to handle those memories
all signs point to sampo being a Aha follower from what ive seen

I created a new account and got Bailu. She received a rating of "71", so her not receiving a score previously might just be a bug. Anyways, M7 is confirmed to be related to at least one Aeon. I'm looking forward to the 5-star SP cards for her, Sampo, and maybe Herta. (Wouldn't it be nice to have grown-up Yanqing too)
Supposedly theres 2 instances of character not receiving a rating. The first is the text doesnt appear at all like with bailu and sushang which I personally think its a bug. The other is the character receives a text saying invalid rating which are those I assume to be related to aeons since its invalid
March 7th's eidolons all bring up memories as well, could be a connection to the remembrance
The rating Gun is odd - when I first had the trailblazer check it, it said cannot rate, but later it was able to give a number
I have an idea for Sambo Maybe he is the same Ion Aha, but he erased his memory and then became involved with the Stelron Hunters Because he loves tricks and trying fun things, and the experience of wiping his memory to see what will happen seems like an exciting experience

Im pretty sure Sampo has some connection to the Aeon Aha. Im the sim universe when you encounter it it breaks the fourth wall and knows its in a simulation, just like Sampo at the end of the Belebog story line.
Maybe she got her power from fuli but had to give her memories and ,after she’ll be a 5 star with full control of the powers and get her memories back
To add another evidence to march, her pictures in her room. If you interact to it just enough to show a dialogue, saying that the pictures taken was during their adventures BUT it is very different for a normal capturing perspective...

One more thing the ice crystals in which march was trapped has resemblance with the crystals in memory of Chaos and forgotten hall

March references her ice abilities to be closer to crystals instead of ice and why I thought she might be related to the aeon of remembrance whos followers created/run(?) the forgotten hall
For anyone wondering: Sparkle’s rating is 55, so if we’re thinking that the gun can’t read that of emenators, then that means that sparkle isn’t one :/ (or aha for some people thinking that..)

Tbh March's case for me is similar to BMO from Adventure Time. The "robot", in this case emanator, is send out to the world to learn, love and live.

Please correct me if I am wrong, pretty sure Sampo's cutscene is a dream by MC. It became an option as well when March asked MC how was his rest.
Youre not wrong and its what trips me up, when he first talks to the 'audience' I kinda took it as more than one person but the scene right after the MC mentions they saw him in a dream as a dialogue option. Im also curious if you didnt pick that choice would it still be considered a dream?

Sempo being related to Aha is possible but I think March 7th being connected to Fuli is certain.Not only does she have magical "ice" powers that so far only she has but she doesnt know how she got it either. Everyone else uses normal ice only March uses the six-phased ice. And lets be honest WHO ELSE would be able to freeze someone in a crystal and keep them alive in space for who knows how long. I am certain Fuli has a connection to march.
March also mentions that she doesnt view her ability as actual ice but rather condensed crystals in her character story. Who else appears to be made of crystal and has ice based simulated universe path? Fuli, though nothings confirmed atm but it is pretty interesting
@@Maevix3142 I think the hints are pretty obvious. Unless she is SOOO OLD that it was some Aeon that has perished long ago that froze March. I dont know maybe it was an Aeon that had a similar path to Fuli and then got demolished by Fuli because as Kafka said similar paths always collide and the stronger one will absorb the weaker one. Tho this is a little too far fetched sometimes game devs make the hints too obvious to sway us in the wrong direction. So I dont know both are possible but yeah her being connected to Fuli is the most sensible option right now.
There are so many characters that can't be rated by the mirror. Random characters from xianzhou loufu like jing yuan, sushang and Bailu too. Even Clara.
Hi really nice video especially the theorie about march 7 and sampo beeing an emanator. Jing Yuan though is not an emanator. Yes He gets some Power from LAN but this Power is passed down from the different generals and not given by LAN. So yes Power wise he is on emenator Level but he inherited his Power from the Former General which makes him not an emenator. 😁

But woudn't Argenti be frozen too? Hance he literally is a member of the Knights of Beauty, which are a group of followers of the path of Beauty. Just like Sampo and Sparkle are part of the fools, the group that follows the path of Elation.
Samp didnt break the fourth wall from what I recall. He was talking to the main character (in a dream).
Thats the part that kinda trips me up, on one hand it mentions that hes thanking his audience which I took to be more than a person then the next scene one of MC choices was to comment on sampo appearing in his/her dreams

I don't think it's random as there are other things in the game that actually are random such as counting coins in the pool. If it were random I think they'd program it that way and not have it consistent for each character.
Do you have any ideas what the numbers mean though? It can't be strength, since even Laboratory Glass Doors have a rating of 10 which is higher than the likes of Herta herself and even Welt. Maybe it's related to something they did? Hence why there's characters like Clara, Sushang and Bailu might not have a rating whereas characters with unknown pasts or mysteries are invalid since it can't determine it? Maybe it is just some giant prank by hoyoverse...
There's a theory that he's in the masked fools group able he's able to go without any trace he doesn't leave foot prints in the snow and in the end of that fouth wall scene he says we you at the tavern or something like that and masked fools has some kind of place they call tavern
Is it ever explicitly stated that Jing Yuan is an emanator? I know his lighting lord was given to him by Lan but I never read anything about him being an emanator. Unlike with Herta where it’s clearly stated.
Its not explicitly mentioned but in the xianzhou alliance trailer its mentioned that the generals of the alliance are all blessed by Lan, so it could be interpreted as they are all emanators or it might just be that Lan really likes hanging out with them and nothing more 😂
It's worth noting that "erasing someone's memories" is an established capability of Fuli's followers, specifically the Memosnatchers and Cremators. It's very possible that her past with Fuli or one of those factions wasn't friendly in nature---though, as the Cremators are hostile to the mainstream Garden of Recollection, that wouldn't rule out her being an Emanator of Remembrance.
We will meet Sampo again in Penacony. There was a hint after you complete artherium war 100%. You will find a memory bubble which revealed a secret dialouge between Giovanni and Sampo. Giovanni told Sampo that a certain person was coming to penacony and Sampo actually doesn't like to meet this person again.
Yup though i take it that because that other person is there and sampo doesnt seem to have a good relationship with her meaning he isnt going to be there but who knows
