Nick Jr had a variety of good shows like Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Wonder Pets, the Backyardains, Little Bear, Lazy Town, Little Bear and Oswald. Now the most shows from the network I only hear of is Paw Patrol.

I remember when I was little when my mom was working, my dad would call me and my older sister out to watch Wow Wow Wubbzy! We had the dvd with all of the Easter episodes and some other ones. Widget was always my favorite!
@ Sad that your mom missed out, it was a very fun and goofy little cartoon. I mainly watched it on this channel called Noggin. And oh man, how much I miss Noggin dude! This fantastic show aired alongside various others like Oobi, Franklin, LazyTown and Jack’s Big Music Show! The channel was legit FILLED with Nick Jr. classics. Plus Moose and Zee, being the lovable, huggable iconic duo of my childhood in commercial breaks! Unfortunately, the channel phased out in 2009, as it became another Nick Jr. channel. But the memories of me watching Wow Wow Wubbzy and bouncing around with it won’t fade :)
Nick Jr. is mostly what I would compare to PBS Kids where streaming and independent content was growing more popularity than what it was back then but they still keep the names of the networks to reminds us all for what they’ve made. Things are never going to stay the same but I’ll always cherish the days Nick Jr. brought to TV.
My Favorite Part About Nick Jr Was Seeing Face I Loved Him So Much, He Was The One That Got Me Excited Ever Time He Introduced A Show, I Love Being A 90s Baby 💜
While it took some adjusting due to the abscence of Moose and Zee, I enjoyed the early days of the 2012-2017 version of NickJr especially the little crossover bumpers where they would all get together and sing a song from a show that relates to a themed month. Those ads have inspired me to write a story that’s an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland with Dora as Alice and various NickJr characters as the residents of Wonderland.
Great video! I remember loving Nick Jr as a kid, and I still like the shows I love growing up as a Gen Z kid (Blue's Clues, Franklin, Little Bear, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi etc...), while liking some new shows that I got into as an adult. Honestly, because of the lightbulb in the beginning of your videos, I think I recommend for you creating a history of Disney's One Saturday Morning, and its sister network, One Too, because I think they're not often brought up enough even though these were popular in the 90's. I mean, this is where they had Recess, Pepper Ann, the Disney era of Doug, The Weekenders, and House of Mouse to name a few.
I remember watching Nick Jr with some of the Noggin shows back in 2012. Outta all the shows from around that era, Wow Wow Wubbzy, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Ni Hao Kai-Lan were my main favorites with Backyardigans, Bubble Guppies, Little Bill, OG Fresh Beat Band, and so on. Paw Patrol wasn’t bad at first but it pretty much became the Spongebob of Nick Jr
Ahh Nick Jr, so much nostalgia! I remember I ADORED Blue's Clues [and still do, the jokes in some episodes actually still hold up], and I had a TON of VHS tapes with Face. Also, Bob The Builder and Rubbadubbers were some of my first exposures to stop-motion/Claymation. Face, Moose A Moose, and Clay [Playhouse Disney] were my introduction to mascots in general not just TV bumper mascots. I like Paw Patrol, but I am legitimately getting sick of every show on Nick Jr getting moved to bad timeslots or getting cancelled in general just to make room for more Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig. Speaking of Bob The Builder, when I was little my local Chuck E Cheese had a Bob The Builder ride I was OBSESSED with and the only things that could get me off the ride were pizza and if Chuck E [both the walkaround and the animatronic] came out. Chuck E is actually the reason I have a huge interest in animatronics. Super excited for Playhouse Disney, and for any possible mentions of Clay, Bear In The Big Blue House, and Handy Manny. Although I hope Cosgrove Hall's Animal Shelf cartoon gets mentioned as I think Disney specifically wanted the show for the channel and distribution.
Oh man I totally loved The Busy World of Richard Scary, Little Bear and Franklin on Nick Jr back in the 90's and The Backyardigans was a sorta witty smaller kids and preschool show but after my time. ❤

Nick Jr had so many timeless shows for me growing up from the later seasons of Gullah Gullah to blues clues to the backyardigans. Now all their doing is just having paw patrol get spammed to takeover half of the Nickelodeon schedule from 7am-1:30pm😅while Peppa pig is still going strong with season 8. This is mostly when Nick Jr fell off by not having variety for their own brand cause they are just stuck to what property franchises works that made them shutdown the noggin block. What caught me off guard was that they first brought in Baby shark as a new show which then ended after season 3 and now brought back Dora in a new series art style😅.
Dora was one of my favorites on Nick Jr. when i was little. It was even the first show i ever watched. I also used to love Little Bill, Blue's Clues, The Backyardigans, The Wonder Pets, and Yo Gabba Gabba!, and others.

I've noticed a number of their shows have gone down the CGI reboot route (Dora, Backyardigans, and Wonder Pets). At least children can safely watch those shows growing up instead... Cocomelon...

Makes me wonder what was going on inside Viacom's heads when making it! Thank god they cancelled that 3 years after it came out because the stuff on that block was WAY TOO inappropriate for kids! Giant mistake! I think you should make an analysis video on it actually.
Nick Jr was my childhood. Sad that kids today won't get to the experience good shows on the network since they honestly don't care about them and left them in the dust.

I didn't really know much about it at first but I got the impression it was supposed to be kind of like Nick@Nite. But what the problem is, is that what makes that block work is that the age group isn't too far off. Whereas, with NickMom, Nick Jr. is for 2-5 year-olds and it was for young adult women. Way too far off. Also, not every child's bedtime is 9, and even if their bedtime IS 9, several things can delay a child's bedtime, including being sick or injured, or a kid being too stubborn to go to bed on time. And anyways, what adult is gonna think to themselves, "Hey, I wonder if Nick Jr.'s got some quality programming for me tonight. Better check it out. It's been one crazy day with the kids."
Here's what's funny is Nick had to fall so Nick Jr could rise and weirdly the Nick Jr channel actually has a veriety compared to the Nickelodeon counterpart

While Nick Jr. hasn't exactly suffered as much as its sister channels, it's acting more of the same (as a channel anyway) for playing like the same five shows over and over again. At least children can safely watch those shows growing up instead... Cocomelon...
I don’t think the Wonder Pets reboot will be CGI
wasn't the backyardigans one just a youtube exclusive thing??
@@P_araps Yes. Let’s not give them any ideas for a reboot with these scary designs.
Blues clues, Gullah Gullah Island, Allegra’s Window, Little Bear, Oswald, LazyTown, Kipper the Dog, Franklin, The Backyardigans, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, Amby and Dexter. All God-Tier.
Blues Clues, Little Bill and Franklin the Turtle were the shows when I was a little kid, B.
Thanks for taking me back to my childhood particularly with Allegra's Window, Gullah Gullah Island, Rupert, Little Bear, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, Blue's Clues, Franklin, Kipper, Maisy, Little Bill, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Bob the Builder and Oswald
You got it all right there.
Wonder pets was my childhood shows back then
Even though they are grievances with Nick Jr., at least they committed less mistakes than Nicktoons (aka the cartoon graveyard)
Lmao Dora is to Blues clues as SpongeBob is to Rugrats
"Thomas and the Magic Station"
Damn I don't remember watching that one...
Somebody skipped Max and Ruby. 💀
Mentioned In my Nelvana video
@@StagehandMotel6What about Tickety Toc
Or Shimmer and Shine.

0:01 what song is that

Childhood memories
This was on my birthday yesterday ❤🎉 nick jr was my childhood 😭😊
Happy birthday you mean I uploaded on your birthday?
they also had a saturday morning block called nick jr on cbs. it was launched on September 16, 2000 and it discontinued on September 9, 2006.
Nickelodeon and nick Jr were turned in regular channels (in Greece)in 2009 but nick Jr greece was in a channel called channel 9 in 1998 and i remember watching these 🐬
I loved Nick Jr. when I was little (I also just liked Nickelodeon in general, but that's besides the point). Little Bear, Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego, Go!, Team Umizoomi, Wow Wow Wubsy!, Bob the Builder, and Kipper DEFINE my childhood! I didn't really think much of NickMom but I was sort of aware it existed. But later, I did some research on it and I KNEW it was a mistake the minute I dove deep into it!
Kid Danger: *wearing his mighty pup movie outfit* For the love of Princess Luna, Do not say ANYTHING bad about Nick jr! I love Nick jr. My beloved PAW Patrol is on Nick jr.
I miss the early 2010s nick jr😭 it was my childhood personally
Same my nick Jr was like 2011/2012-2016
@@JustEpic_Yt I grew up watching nick jr in 2010-2019 I will never forget 2018 the last good year of nick jr
@@terseanhorton475 I technically watched 2017-2019 too but everything I liked was getting cancelled in nick if I remember correctly lol (plus Disney Junior was getting some of my attention away from Nick jr)
@JustEpic_Yt facts But 2017-2018 was good years 4 nick jr 2 2019 was When the downfall began
i grew up with OG Blues Clues
Blue's Clues and even Dora were goated and sweet when I was a little kid bossman. 🐐❤️
2 wows for me:
1. Dora launched in 2000?!! Blew my mind...I swore it was earlier than that. I thought it was older than Spongebob 🤦
2: Oswald was only a single season?! NickJr pushed that show so hard back then lol. What a flop lol
Childhood Memories on Nickelodeon
🔥🔥🔥 peak YT back
19:06 I hated this when I was 4💀
I didn't really know much about it at first but I got the impression it was supposed to be kind of like Nick@Nite.
I only remember instant mom from that block
My favorite childhood shows are:
Yo Gabba Gabba
The Wonder Pets
Blue's Clues
Blue's Room
Jack's Big Music Show
Mines for nick Jr are:
Yo Gabba Gabba
Wonder Pets
Team Umizoomi
Wallykazam
Fresh Beat Band

Another video LES GOOOO!!!! This was my childhood. Also, second comment (I think)
Nice 👍
awesome man
Glad you enjoyed it
Here's what's funny is Nick had to fall so Nick Jr could rise and weirdly the Nick Jr channel actually has a veriety compared to the Nickelodeon counterpart
Oh yeah, there's actually an update that someone brought the rights to noggin name. I don't know who
Can You Now start work on The rise and Fall of The Britt Allcroft Company Video?
Just one more preschool channel to cover man! I believe you, you got this! Can’t wait to see it soon!❤
This My childhood favorite television program when i was kid
LETS GO PLAYHOUSE DISNEY IS NEXTT
I'm surprised Peppa Pig wasn't mentioned in the video, because Nick Jr has been airing that in the US since 2011 probably.
Peppa Pig was on various channels. Mentioned it during the Tickle U era of Cartoon Network. I focused more on Nick Jr. Originals.

Request, why the Qubo channel died?
12:31 if you think about it Dora the explorer outranked Blues Clues in the exact same way SpongeBob SquarePants outranked Rugrats in 1999 that showed proof that Dora the explorer was Nick Jr’s version of SpongeBob SquarePants and Blue’s Clues was Nick Jr’s version of Rugrats makes sense in the mid 90s to see Blue’s Clues and Rugrats merchandise everywhere and in the 2000s and 2010s to see Dora the explorer and SpongeBob merchandise but to this very day we still see a whole lot of SpongeBob merchandise and everything including that Krabby Patty Collab meal at Wendy’s although when Dora the explorer got cancelled in 2014 Paw Patrol took its place as it became Nick Jr’s new SpongeBob or I don’t know how to call it because 2 years later Nickelodeon would get a show that would beat SpongeBob in ratings called The Loud House but Nickelodeon also had The Fairly Oddparents going on throughout the SpongeBob time until 2017 and all it got was another season unlike Rugrats but unlike The Fairly Oddparents Rugrats had 3 movies and a spin off show but that was Nickelodeon’s way of having SpongeBob in the 90s now SpongeBob has 2 spin offs about to have 4 movies and 2 Netflix movies
Yay another video
its been so long that i honestly didnt even remember some of these were on nick jr, lol. but i remember many of them being a part of my childhood

Man I wish when they do are new shows that they do it in a more 90s and 2000s type style so it won't just be like every kid show you see on today from Nick Jr, PBS Kids and Disney Junior but you already know they won't do that for obvious reasons but if it's not obvious, it's because they probably want modernized shows which in this case is bad.
