PLEASE NOTE: Marvel's tweet today about "only 2 episodes left" includes today's episode. It was tweeted first thing this morning and they are assuming most people have not yet watched today's episode. Next week is the finale with Ep 9.
JUST WOW EPISODE 8 WAS. FRICKING AMAZING.
Today's episode was probably the first underwhelming episode. They should call it, 'Lucy you got some explaining to do,' because it was an episode of pure exposition. I guess I expected more complex answers to questions I had and they came back with very route one simple explanations.
it come to my mind while i was watching the episode, "wait a minute it wasnt agatha all along", but i think shes pulling the strings on wanda, but wanda create the westview reality all along.
and theres one more enemy to show up, i think, maybe to be the villain in dr strange2, could be mephisto or nightmare, agatha is working with someone else.
Nooooooo let me be delusional in PEACE 😭
Mutants are called, “Witchbreeds” in Marvel 1602 storyline.
The only reason Westview is in need of a "sitcom makeover" is because it's after the 5 year blip, Vision would've bought it for them while he was still alive pre-Infinity War. The house and neighborhood have become dilapidated in the 5 year gap without 50% of the population to take care of it. He didn't buy a house in a bad neighborhood, it became that way after he died and Thanos won.
Thats why everyone looks sad and lonely.
when the comments are more interesting that the theories in the video itself
Absolutely. We saw the sad state of affairs in NY & San Francisco "Five Years Later" in Endgame. The decay seen in Westview compounds the sadness of the scene: everything about the future they'd dreamt for themselves is lost to Wanda. Tragic....
But when Wanda came to Westview the other half of population was brought back so why they was that sad
@@musiclibrary5440 because the other half had to go through those five years? just imagine the scenario. it's not pleasant
Can we all agree that Elizabeth Olsen’s acting was phenomenal this episode, throughout entire season, but this episode in particular 👍🏻
Yes.
Agreed
Yes it was
She has pulled off a mixed bag of crazy on this show. Love it.
Her's and Paul Bettany's he goes from comedy to sadness to angry to altruism just like Olsen everyone has been great maybe besides hayward who just seems so mustache twirling
The town looked that way because he bought the house 5 years ago, then after the snap, with half of humanity gone, they couldn't care for it. That's why it looks so rugged. Remember, this is only 9 days after the blip!
This is such a good observation
Who bought the town?
@@romelade9947 Vision bought a house in the town.
@@szabolcsraul9559 lol you said town
You so smart.👍
I actually really like Agatha's motivation as a villain. She's not just some lame servant for Mephisto like I was worried she might be. She's an incredibly gifted and skilled Witch, whose ambition knows no bounds. When she learns that Wanda has these incredible and universe-bending abilities and is pretty much wasting them on playing pretend, she's disgusted by it. Agatha doesn't think Wanda is capable or deserving of wielding such power.
Yes! It's like Amy and Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. "Everybody else had to work twice as hard to be half as good".
@@lukeyznaga7627 the bad guys were good in Fallout?
I agree
That whole episode was basically the wizard grilling the sorcerer about how their magic works (dnd reference btw).
Agree, for example Thanos's intentions were actually good and by the looks of the world we are living in, we do need half of the people to be gone in order to survive since overpopulation, all kinds of pollutions, global warming, lack of resources to live, etc...
She says “I don’t feel you” to vision. A nod to infinity war where she says “I just feel you” and when vision says “I just feel you” before wanda kills him
I loved it. I cried like a baby
[You’re killing me, but] all I feel is you. - Vision
I can’t feel you, [and that’s killing me] - Wanda
Why everyone says she killed vision? It s a robot, it s made of vibranium. She destroyed the stone. That s it.
@@pilloledifantascienza7304 destroying vision in the process...
The Dad selling sitcoms is NOT overly complicated. During the Cold War all American Pop Culture was sold underground in Eastern Europe Because that type of stuff was Banned!!!
Also it is likely that family was struggling for income, so obviously they could not just watch them. Grace.
Fact! Everything American was a major part of the Eastern European black market economy.
Grace really showed her ignorance of life outside of the US there and how far American media's reach is.
@@cassidyleonards2411 I Woudlnt say she's ignorant. In many ways she's intelligent and critical of some movie magic but not everyone thinks of the reach of pop culture in other countries
@@cassidyleonards2411 Just wanted to add that this wasn't during Cold War, which was long over before mass market DVD's. This was post break-up of Soviet Union, when a lot of Eastern Europian countries fell apart. Sokovia = Kosovo?
I feel like we watched two different episodes. Honestly I pretty much cried the whole time. Sure the plot points of the mystery are important and well but for me it's always been about Wanda's journey through her grief and man did they succeed on that front.
Same here it was so sad. I think a lot of people on UA-cam are looking too far into it.
The deep sense of loss and the true tragedy that she walked away from Vision’s disassembled husk instead of taking it did it for me... felt like I was watching a mortician at work...
That bombing scene reminds me a lot of the movie The Book Thief. Seeing that happy little girl and then seeing her dead parents really broke my heart.
Me too
It honestly felt surreal seeing Wanda break down reliving all of her trauma/loss and to have Grace saying "Move it along so we can get to Mephisto/Fietro/Ralph/the Book"...it's Wanda's story.
2:41 the song literally says "who's been messing up everything?" And the 7th episode stated "created by Wanda Maximoff"... If we can't understand what's been quite literally been revealed in a straightforward way... That's on us and our collective decision to obsess with WandaVision
And Monica quite clearly said "it's Wanda, it's all Wanda", so many points that made this stuff clear, definitely agree with you
I feel like people need to stop wearing their tin foil hats while watching this show, you're just gonna end up hurting your own feelings.
@@xxForgottenx yup, too much expectations will hurt just those mephisto theories circling around.
I like when Agatha says “youre the most powerful being and you’re over here making breakfast for dinner” with disgust in her face and a little bit of admiration LOL I love it
Just like Ultron being disgusted by humans/Americans for using vibranium to make a "frisbee".. 😂😂
Great line delivery
I loved that line too haha
looks like you forgot that the show is ultimately about wanda becoming the scarlet witch... not fan service
THANK YOU!!!
That is fan service to me lmao
If you were watching the show through the lens of someone who doesn’t watch breakdowns on UA-cam and doesn’t know the comics, you got a lot of answers in this episode.
Exactly!!!
Yep. The drama got answered. The theory wank didn't😁
Thank you!!! These scoopers are making their own red herrings that the show never set up!
That's what I've been telling people
100%
“and that makes you the scarlet witch “
that line gave me goosebumps and when we see her with mind stone and we see her shadow or ouline of her original costume and her head peace i loved it
I rewind back to hear the scene twice because I couldn't believe they said Scarlet Witch.
Lmfaooo “ And that makes you the Scarlet…Johansson
That scene made me think of Eternals, could she be linked to them somehow?
It is the costume they teased in the posters.
Vision bought the lot pre infinity war. Then snap happened and everything became worse after 5 years. Maybe the town was beautiful before the snap. Even Scott Lang's house look horrible when he came back.
Great point
Yes!
Great observation, I hadn't realized that!
Totally agree this is after all that’s happened in the 5 year gap.
That was my assumption as well after watching it a second time. I believe Wanda was going to see the house they planned to buy, since it was the last remnant of their relationship, but when she got there it was demolished which is why she reacted the way she did. It was like the final nail in the coffin.
I thought it was sweet that Vision writes like a person. He’s always trying to understand what being human is and wants to “fit in”
I know right! And that’s also why he chose the unfinished lot in not the greatest place in America. Vision just wants a normal everyday life with Wanda. Grace completely missed that and really misunderstood this entire episode in my opinion :|
“Who’s been messing up everything, it was Agatha All Along!”
This implies that Agatha did not create anything but is messing with people’s heads. How did you miss this grace?
right??? i mean, seriously, it was pretty straightforward
@CozHex because Grace works in the MCU and knows a thing or two about the stuffs that is going to happen before the common people aka MCU fans gets to know it.
Thank you! Nothing in the song implies that Agatha made the hex in the first place. It all implies that she has been the one messing around and disturbing Wanda's fantasy.
Plus, the first scene of Agatha's song shows her arriving and transforming into 1950s Agnes, clearly showing that the scenario was already running when she arrived.
But to be fair, the song only said "who's been MESSING up everything"
Exactly
This! Came to say the same. She wasn’t claiming she created it, only that she was messing everything up.
I was just about to say that. The song never said it was Agatha who made the hex
Wanda is the created Agatha is the director
This episode was by far the best one yet. People are trying to come up with overly complicated theories, so that's why some of them are disappointed. I'm just enjoying the way this show's going! This episode alone was some of the best MCU content!
Yeah, I bet those people are having a Last Jedi PTSD episode right now
100% Agreed
I agree
@@Nickferal Hahahaha
I SO agree with this!!!
“Agatha all along” refers to her ‘messing everything up’ and does not infer that she created everything.
Exactly
Grace sure does overlook things at times
Then were the F has she been this whole time?? And where the F are the other avengers. Oh thats right, on vacation. LOL
this! it seems grace didnt remember the whole song
@@dude247316 this is weeks after endgame. Cap and Tony are gone. There's NO Avengers.
People need to remember that this will lead into multiverse of madness so don't expect all the answers at the end of the finale.
Obviously Agatha' de-aging looked better than normal. Katherine Hahn still looks young and doesn't need it all that much, unlike Robert De Niro in the Irishman. They probably just touched up her face a little bit.
I don't think there was any de-aging.
@@J1mmyMack Me neither, it's like when people thought there was pitch shifting on the interviewer's line when it was just Kathryn Hahn
I think there was a tiny bit. Or maybe it was the lighting but she looked a little younger.
@@treycallerman6514 Yeah I think it was simply lighting and make up
I legit thought she was not deaged but was very good make up for a while. Anyway, Hahn is just too beautiful lol
It feels really unfair to rank on this episode so much. It sounds like you're watching as a comic book reader wanting to check certain fandom boxes rather than a TV viewer watching for a character-driven story.
Satisfying TV isn't all about mysteries and answering questions. If we didn't get a deep-dive episode into Wanda's life and her trauma before the end of the show, then what would have even been the point?
It was pretty disappointing watching your reaction to Wanda's well-written and well-acted emotional arc being "let's speed this along and get back to Ralph/Dottie/Fietro/Nightmare/Mephisto" when at the end of the day this is WANDA's story.
Well said. My motto, I will believe it when I see it.
Agree completely
I completely agree with you, and with all the theories about who’s gonna show up like mephisto/ Nightmare etc etc are just that, THEORIES unless there’s concrete dialogue or plot points that lead towards those elements then they’re still just theories. Tbf I think the show doesn’t do itself much favours with the short episode lengths and because the episodes are so short people take all the dialogue so literally and I don’t blame them for that, but there does come a point where you’ve gotta separate theories and speculation with what’s actually happening on screen
Well said! These limited series are one long story so it makes no sense to rate them per episode.
I agree. A very distasteful breakdown from Grace. She completely missed what this entire episode was about.
I was on the brink of crying for the entire episode. The only thing that made me smile was hearing Agatha say, "The Scarlet Witch."
It was a sad one. I felt so hurt during her walk through memory lane
Man, I had to pause 2 times to breathe... This episode hits the feels hard!!
I cried. A. Lot.
Actually seeing her parents die made me tear up
@@Sid_Vintage yeah, that was the saddest scene to me
Wanda has one of the best character developments in the entire MCU.
The point they made of her never being called the Scarlet witch because she didn’t even know that’s what she was ,was freaking amazing. Best episode so far from me. Emotional and impactful on every level.
Favorite episode! I loved every minute!
I’m glad that she’s fully fleshed out. But she is one of the most powerful characters in Marvel comics so I now understand why they had to do her the way they did.
Fully agreed
I agree as well
I've seen better character development but it is really good.
I’m not a feely person, and rarely does the stuff that happen on the screen affect me, BUT, that scene with Wanda creating Westview gave me goosebumps. That was crazy!
The police officers told Monica that there is no town of Westview. But the address on the property deed clearly states Westview.
@@Hellkite-er5pg yes, because in episode 4 jimmy theorises the reason they don’t remember Westview is because they have a personal connection to it
Honestly the bedroom scene with vision made me tear up, and I usually don't lol but just someone being there for my favorite character in MCU made me happy lol
Really emotional
The end credit sequence 'really did a lot to make this episode worth our time' ... WTF Grace? This episode was sensational. So confused as to why you weren't in tears throughout at least half of it. Throw all the awards at Elizabeth Olsen please. I LOVE THIS SHOW!
Right? This is the episode that finally showed what Wanda has been experiencing, how is that not worth our time???
It really was just a recap episode with minor character development and minor plot development. I'd agree that it was a time wasting episode.
@@gr8esthandleever You have a heart of stone.
@@gr8esthandleever I respect your opinion but for me it's not a waste if this serve the purpose to connect more with the character unlike just saying this person is depressed or has been through a lot, I find it difficult to empathise with characters who's experience are not really fleshed out..
@@tunzlunz so you're saying it took the show all the way to the penultimate episode to give the main character some development? 🤣 We already knew most of the stuff they showed us in the episode.
There was a Snap. A Blip. Remember that Grace? A Thanos. The neighborhood looks like that now FOR A REASON. Many places look like that still, and so soon after people returned. Vision bought it before all that. Jeez.
I hope she reads the comments and rewatch the show again. She's missing details/perspective.
Yeah it’s literally been 5 years the town isn’t gonna look the same as when vision bought it 🤦♀️
Woah everyone relax
Exactly!!!!! Truth is the world would look more apocalyptic than this.
The best moment in this episode, and possibly the best in this season, was when Wanda sees her "future" self in the mind stone light. That really struck a chord with the comic book fan in me. Just wow.
like they are doing a dark phoenix cosmic story without jean gray. she was never this powerful in the books i read, but damn she should be, and now she is.
Folks should temper the need to have questions answered. The're telling a story in an excellent way. Not running a q&a panel.
🤣🤣 exactly... Not to mention this isn't a stand alone series... They're doing something never done before... Some answers will occur in the movies
@@cruzanassassin And, as in real life, you don't always get all the answers.
It was honestly surreal seeing Wanda relive an entire life's worth of trauma/loss while Grace just kept saying "Let's move this along...let's see Mephisto/Fietro/Ralph/the Book"!

exactly
I honestly dont know if Winter Soldier can live up to this. Elizabeth's acting in this is next level.
I think F&WS will go the other way n focus on the story, intrigue & action..n faster pacing..and not so much on emotional human drama as this one.
I expect F&WS to be better than WandaVision
I don’t think they are supposed to be better than the other I think they are supposed to be there own thing
I just remembered that dr strange took some of Thor’s hair to open a door in Ragnarok too. So they’re all doing the same magic. Wow.
Most of the magic users have similar powers. Loki and Wanda have very similar powers. But she is obviously stronger. Loki can create illusions, he can make you relive your worst nightmares (Valkyrie fight scene) mind manipulation, transmutation. It pretty crazy when you notice how magic works within the MCU and subtlety shown as well.
Come on Grace, it’s not Marvels job to answer our made up questions or theories their job is to give us quality content which Wandavision has done excellently
I agree. I don't really watch YT channels that try to over analyze each frame to find easter eggs or theories of what's to come because that can only lead to disappointment when the theories don't materialize. I get they try to be the first to do so to entice more people to subscribe to their channels, but I think more often than not, they read something into it that isn't there.
I just watch the program and enjoy the story and emotion. Then a second time to see if I missed anything of significance. Then I watch a few of the reaction/review channels to see if I missed anything entirely.
Didn’t even notice the de-ageing on Katherine/Agatha
Yeah, Grace often notices those things a film major or critic is actually trained to notice
@@Nickferal, I have often noticed other times de-ageing is used but this time I thought it was seamless when watching the episode.
If someone is taking every Easter egg as indications of what’s to come or where the story is heading you’ll only disappoint yourself but maybe just maybe they’re just Easter eggs and nods to whatever it is referring too and nothing more. Sometimes taking the show for what it is, is the way to enjoy this that much more.
Apparently so, but it's a blow to find that out in the penultimate episode.
In the future I gotta remember; Feige gonna Feige

Wth
As Data once said, "Sometimes a cake is just a cake."
I couldnt agree more. . .
Exactly, every line doesn’t need to be foreshadowing! Sometimes it’s just to provide context or is for a cool Easter egg
I really think Evan Peters being cast was just a shout out to fans, and a play on actors being recast in sitcoms. I don’t think his character is more than Agatha says here. Keep it simple!
She said it was some sort of possession, so I’m still hoping he IS X-Men Quicksilver, being “possessed” by Agatha’s magic.
In the credits, the character's name is "Evanora Harkness", so that does seem to point to a maternal relationship.
Yup!
Although there is a possibility that Agnes could have been adopted.
@@morganross6399 yes but sounds needlessly complicated

2:34 the song still makes sense. It was Agatha all along but that didn’t mean they were saying she made the town, the song is about her messing up the town not creating it

I like to think that Vision writing instead of lasering ‘To Grown Old In’ on the paper was his attempt at trying to be more human for Wanda.
Grace. Jimmy here. The colors are based on the Chakras. Agatha is purple is the crown. It represents the states of higher consciousness. Blue is based on the throat which is used to speak and communicate. Wanda is the root. It provides the foundation of our life for safety, stability, anxiety fear, and is located on the "base of the spine."
I feel like people who focus on theories aren’t getting a chance to enjoy the show. It’s so good and people are to busy thinking about mutants and Mephisto to truly enjoy it.
Well they built this show up as some sort of mystery, a pretty bad one at that, so people played along and came up with theories about what is going on. It just happens that some theories were better than what we got from the writers so people got disappointed.
That’s always the case, one of the reasons we have so many haters, cause they don’t get what they want and hated for no reason.
How perfect is it that Thor's quote “Your ancestors called it magic, but you call it science. I come from a land where they are one and the same.” just perfectly ties together these two people from two different worlds. I love that not only was Thor essential in powering up Vision, but it is also he that once again gives a reason for the restoration (or rebirth) of Vision. Thor laying the groundwork for reviving the tangibility of Wanda and Vision's love for each other is such a nice circle.
That movie was made before the Dr. Strange movie. He also made a comment that Earth have wizards now?. In legend they've been around for thousands of years, the Celtic bald woman, Merlin, Morgana etc. There's a theory that Agnes has been drawing on the dark dimension for power also theory only.

However, the magic energy/aura headset is solo cool!!! What a level up!!! A magic from for The Scarlet Witch (and now that tis a title... Levels her up at least beyond the sorcerer supreme!!!)
Honestly, this has turned into one of my favorite Marvel stories. PTSD is a powerful thing. And seeing it manifest in our “heroes” brings our hero back to a grounded, relatable level you don’t often see in these stories. THIS episode especially, I could almost literally FEEL her anguish in the lot scene - in a fictional, “superhero” story. To me that was Elizabeth Olsen’s shining acting moment in her character arc to this point. I felt like I was watching a PTSD stricken woman completely and utterly come apart and hit rock bottom. Superb acting.
*Edited due to auto correct*
Someone pointed out, that dormomu and the dark dimension magic had a purple color scheme, so I think purple is the mcu color of “dark magic”
I honestly think if Wanda becomes a baddie, it's understandable. She's lost everyone because of Stark Industries or trying to help the Avengers. We finally heard her be called Scarlet Witch.
Everyone has been through tough times though. It's no excuse to become evil. If Wanda chooses to be evil then that would be character assassination.
I thought the same thing. I think she will be like “being/going good only led to losing everything I care about...let’s try being bad and see what I lose then. Maybe I’ll just gain everything...” lol that’ll be a amazing
Even Peters is STUN CASTING!!!! I been saying that from the beginning!!! They NEVER SAID this show would introduce the X-men. Ppl put that on the show. Kevin said they had a 5 year plan way before the deal between Disney and Fox went through
Makes me sad
They been planning to feature Evan peters for a while! There’s no way they would make it just a stunt cast!
Her taking wanda’s hair was cool to see bc Dr Strange did something similar in Thor Ragnarok for Thor. Small connections big plot points 🥲
Yeah, that was part of a "portal to the current location of a loved one" if I interpreted it right
Another note, Wanda is wanted for her abilities and vision is wanted for his and all they wanted was time. Bruh this show is everrrything.
The song literally says Who´s been MESSING UP everything, not who´s CREATED everything.
The final line gave me GOOSEBUMPS.
When she felt Quicksilver die in AoU, she exploded in grief then too. And she took down ask the ultrons in one blast
Good point forgot about that!
Nice point. Thanks for the reminder!
Exactly. As she fell down on her knees here, I was like, Uh-oh...here we go.
And to see how her power explosion had been amplified by THAT much...wow!! Awesome.
This episode was the heart of the series.
The song is true though, it did not lie. The song says she was the one “messing up everything.” I mean at first it may have been misleading but now listening to the song again, it never claims that Agatha created the hex, just that she is the cause of all the mischief in the hex. All Agatha was trying to do was see how Wanda created it because she knew that it required very powerful magic which is why she was rattling things up to get a rise out of Wanda and snap her out of her delusion lol that’s why she said in this new episode that she had waited long enough... and well tbh we all have 😂
When you turn up to a party but you brought a bottle of wine: IT WAS ALL ME.
She had "normal" parents in the comics too, until later on when we found out her biological father... And she did have witch powers, but she also became a mutant... Sigh... Gracie is criticizing it for being like it's supposed to be... That's insane
I was searching for this comment. Yup, their real last name isnt Maximoff
She's stupid
I know right! She's usually more eloquent.
She has a contract to promote HBO Max and is a DC fangirl. Don't expect her to know that much about Marvel outside of what she skims on wiki.
@Aaron Lassiter Then why are you on her channel lol
I love Marvel. This episode is awesome it shows you don"t need big superhero battles to make a good comicbook shows. The Scarlet Witch line is legendary and its cool they have turned it into mantle like the Avatar.
Loveeeee this comment!
"Who's been messing up everything?" It was still Agatha All Along
Referring to the colour purple being shown as Agatha’s dark magic, Disney use purple alot for their villains and Agatha reminds me more of a Disney villain than a Marvel one!
She’s such a good written villain! I really hope they keep her around in the MCU because she’s so damn entertaining
The reason why her dad was selling the sitcoms it is a reference to how hollywood material would have arrived in a Communistic Eastern Europe.. if u haven’t lived there ... you couldn’t understand the reference
I don't live there and I understand. But I'm not from America. People in other countries know a lot more about the world than Americans
True, same where I am from.
@@jamespope7669 excuse me? I was trying to explain her confussion to why her dad didn’t just keep the sitcoms instead of selling them .. and I try to explain that during Communism, every piece of Hollywood media was exported just like drugs, very hush hush. WandaVision introduces Witches and the Darkhold.
Moon Knight introduces Werewolf by Night.
Blade introduces vampires.
All comes together in a Midnight Sons movie.
Never gonna happen.
@@richierich7229 It's all already happening.
Exactly. Chthon is going to be the overarching villain of mystic Marvel.
This episode confirms that she is a natural born witch and the mind stone amplifies her magic and unlocked chaos magic making her the scarlet witch
Also i love how they make scarlet witch some kind of a myth
@Purplekitty81 ingram idk about that but agatha confirms wanda is a baby witch
@Purplekitty81 ingram You all need to drop that Magneto thing.
@Purplekitty81 ingram I'm just saying. Don't throw a fit if it doesn't go your way.
@Purplekitty81 ingram yeah i was just giving my opinion you theory, i wasn't disagreeing
Well, Peter says is Spidermn 2 (which takes place several months after WV events) that Thor was a myth & now they study him in his physics class. So yeah.... myths "become reality" in MCU
their retcon of "scarlet witch" and "chaos magic" was brilliant. gave me goosebumps.
This episode really hurts the feels, especially when Wanda drove to westview just before she creates the hex, you can feel the grief she's going through.
There are 6 colors of magic, 6 different colors of the Infinity Stones and 6 sides to a hexagon!
...and vision’s “magic” is yellow & is able to free minds in the show. I do think there’s a parallel to the origin of magic to the stones. Just my opinion but I think vision’s “magic” is derived from the mind stone being part of his creation. Because Vision having power in the Hex doesn’t make sense unless he can’t be controlled by the magic of Wanda or Agatha.
I've read a theory that the witches uses blue magic... Wanda's chaos magic is red... red and blue when mixed is purple... so Agatha probably has been trying to use the chaos magic which turned her blue magic into purple.
Which confuses the Lantern factions.
I think the song was because she was screwing with Wanda, not that she created the Hex.
Yeh. It's like she been influencing the narrative all along. 👍🏾
Yeah... ppl misread that
They literally showed her coming AFTER the hex
Also, that episode stated "created by Wanda Maximoff", I think we all have to breathe a little and meditate on how attached we are to the theories and crazy expectations that this show will connect everything... Or we will end up making WandaVision another Last Jedi
yeah like how people dont get that?
Grace missed the point with why Westview was so run down. Vision bought the property before The Blip. The implication is that Westview was a thriving town and The Blip killed it. People magically reappearing isn't going to negate the economic damage done in the interim.
I think Wanda saying "I can't feel anything." was a great contrast to when Vision said "All I feel is you."
I have a theory the lease was the calendar from episode 1, hence the heart on it that they couldn’t explain 😢😢
OMG
I thought so too. I even paused to see if the lot had a 10 on it somewhere
They did explain it though. The heart was because they had dinner with a couple whose last names had “heart” in it (can’t remember the exact last name).
I thought the same thing. It makes sense.
Vision bought the house pre-Blip. When Scott was freed from the van in Endgame, one street he was on in San Francisco, the houses were uncared for and trash was piled high. Imagine the damage to a small town in those same 5 years.
@@CleansHaven
He’s Tony stark’s creation, of course he would have money

I’m assuming since he was Stark’s AI he had access to his bank accounts, so yes
For every marvel introduction movie, the villain is an evil version of the hero. (Cap Red Skull, Ironman Iron Monger, Thor Loki, etc...) Here you have Wanda's evil counterpart Agatha, therefor you have Vision's evil counterpart introduced at the end of the episode.
I think we will see Chthon.
Chthon and Ultron are the creators of Wanda and Vision.
Evil vision is Ultron..
I kinda wish we get a Captain Marvel evil version because she is so powerful and strong that she needs an even more stronger villain kinda like Hella from Thor Ragnarok.
That would be the fight that I will be looking forward too OR they could do a full 360 by making CM a villain herself because she does become a villain in the newer comics and then that would be CM vs Monica (just a theory) because Monica flinched a little in one of the episodes when they talking about CM coming close to killing Thanos.
@@touming9257 But that Vision is dead. The new one needs an evil version too.
Vision doesn’t talk like a Robot so he can have human-like handwriting.
And I think he would use human like handwriting on purpose for her.
Completely agree
OR ITS HAYWARD'S HANDWRITING UGH HE PLANTED THAT LETTER ON THE CAR SEAT FOR A REASON
Also he shoots down war machine beciase he got distracted which was a signifier that he is more human than machine
yes, and he has a soul as well.
When Wanda says “I can’t feel you” to Vision’s head in the lab, where as he said “I just feel you” to her in Infinity War, just before she is about to kill him 😭😭😭
The dark magic in Doctor Strange was purple.
Marvel has tormented Wanda so much.
She definitely deserved her own show
Grace, it's been 5 years, a blip, and a return-blip since Vision bought that property.
The town *became* drab in that time, it wasn't like that when Vision scouted it.
It was probably a very bright and happy place 5 years prior before half the world disappeared.
Someone get Elizabeth and the show an Emmy! Bypass the getting nominated part. They all truly deserve it!
Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen's Gambit), Nicole Kidman (The Undoing), Tessa Thompson (Sylvie's Love), Michaela Coel (I May Destroy You), Ruth Wilson (Oslo), Cynthia Erivo (Genius: Aretha), and Kate Winslet (Mare of Easttown) will all beg to differ.
@@richierich7229 Google is such a lifesaver! Lol. Nice work bud
People wouldn't be so disappointed if they weren't looking for all the things never promised. The heart in this episode just tore mine out. And Katherine Hahn showed just how good she is. She was such a delight to watch, so much nuance. I was ready to watch the episode again immediately after it finished.
It’s becoming fairly obvious now that fan theories and expectations are outpacing this show and the story it wants to tell.
Elizabeth deserves an Emmy for this!!!
Chris Evans shows up in episode nine, and says: “Flame on” right before he flies away.
thanks, a lot.
Lol
I knew it
😂😂
So Wanda was so broken that she created her own lil different reality, Damn if she's this powerful just imagine how much more powerful she'd be with all the infinity stone's 😯😳
Or if she actually trained with her powers
She doesn't need them, she's always been way more OP
Whoever has the infinity stones... it doesn’t matter if you have powers or not. You are automatically the strongest being in the universe. They downplayed their powers too much in infinity war. In the comics it was revealed that only the living tribunal (the impersonation of the multiverse) and god are superior to him.
@@mr_coffee9917 I know she's always been op, but if she can make her own reality just imagine what she'll be capable of with all the stone's
@@IcemanFabian nothing much more, she could already do everything
I also asked why Vision would buy a lot in such a desolate town, but then I realized it's been AT LEAST 5 years and the snap must have taken the life out of this once beautiful suburbia.
Thing is, in the comics nowadays, Wanda isn't a mutant, nor Magneto's daughter. It was revealed that she is a witch and it seems WandaVision is following that canon.
Wanda is back being a mutant and is now the mutant boogeyman
@@welch_inc6532 she's not a mutant, that's why mutants call her "the pretender"
