I really like you, state its your favourite phone but will still point out potential flaws. Hard to find guys like you on youtube, usually sponsored, bias bullshit. 👍🏻
I don't think all pixels are made equally. So I'm in construction and I bring my naked p9pfold everywhere. Dropped it 3 times on asphalt and it's still prestine, it has a couple nicks but not noticeable. I have no micro abrasions in the inside screen but I do have the little bumps in the center but it's super hard to see. So I would say I'm pleased with the build. I wish they had a better finger print coating on the inside because it gets pretty dirty but all in all for my first fold not bad at all.
I'm not seeing any of those issues on my Pixel 9 Pro Fold yet. I am fully aware how fragile the inner screen is on these foldable devices. That's why I have insurance on this device just in case something goes wrong on this device!
Don't take it for fact. That's his experience. I've had mine for the same amount of time and don't have any of these issues or flaws. My pixel 9 pro fold is as pristine as it was when I took it out of the box. I guess it depends on your environment and situations. For example, Do you live where it's sandy? A lot of debris in the air? Pets? Do you have long fingernails? etc. etc.. Far as the screw bumps he was talking about, I don't have those either, my crease still looks good with no flaws.
Seeing some of the main things like scratches around the bezel on the inside, but overall phone is holding up great. I have the spegen case with hinge protector on it
The P9PF is my favorite phone as well. I loved it. I also dont know how much I trust the screen. I had the same things on mine that you pointed out in this video and that made me end up swapping it out for a P9PXL. If the screen goes out, replacing it would be a pain so I decided to go back to the slab. It's too bad because I loved the 9PF.
I feel like I have to wipe those parallel vertical streaks every time I open the device. They wipe right off, but it's clear that the screen rubs there when it's closed.
I get it as well. Was literally about to Google the issue today. Mine aren't as long as these and wipe right off. Feel a little better that it's not just a me issue
I have an indent on the inner display too. It was me accidentally pressing too hard with my nail cause I was holding the phone while I was laying down and falling asleep and the weight of the phone pressed it into my thumb nail 😅 I also have bumps under the display hinge area. I noticed it the first week of ownership but it hasn't caused any issues other than being noticeable when the screen is off or when light reflections hit it just right. by the way I don't have marks at the top portion of the bezel like you do. if I had to guess, it might be how you travel with your pixel fold in your pockets. since lint and dust collects at the bottom of pockets it may be getting between the two sides then when you open/close the pressure of pressing those dust particles together may be causing those marks over time.
I've had my 9 Pro Fold for around a month and a half. I have some similar issues that you have. Over all I love the phone but I do think that the Z Fold 6 is fundamentally a better foldable. I'll of course stick with the 9 Pro Fold because I love Pixel UI. I don't think the hardware stuff is something alot of people should worry about. I see the same amount of horror stories about broken inner displays on the Pixel Fold reddit as I do the Z fold and One Plus open reddit. Folding screen tech is still super fragile so until someone makes something way more durable, that is always going to be an issue. Love the videos Shane. Keep up the awesome work!
I got the Z Fold 6 and the OG Fold. Love them both and I agree that the Z Fold 6 just does it all. Been using Samsung devices again for the past several years. It's gotten a lot better and offers more than the Pixel line when it comes to their software. Pixel phones are great for most people but those people that just want to get stuff done on a higher level will want a Samsung device instead. Running 4 apps one being a floating one is awesome. I usually just run 3 at the most which you can't really do with finesse on Pixel phones. I was thinking of upgrading my OG Fold to the 9 Pro Fold but I'm gonna wait until next year instead where the changes will be a bigger jump imo. Plus they changed the aspect ratio which is a good and bad thing. I actually prefer the 9 Pro or Pro XL more but even that I'm still on the fence about.
Thanks for the update! I've only had mine for a month so no issues except some faint scratches on the cover display. I don't use a case much and I should've had a screen protector on. Other than that, this is currently my favorite phone.
The bezel on the inside screen is the key. If you placed a thin clear protector over the inner bezels it would provide the tiny bit of tolerance to prevent the inner screen from touching and rubbing together where you showed your scuff marks on each side. You could technically utilize a universal screen protector and lay a strip on the inner bezels of that phone to give you that tolerance prevent the scratches on the bezels as well as on the screen
@scaryifliteral agreed was just figuring out maybe it would at least prevent those scratches on the screen. Plus you could replace the protectors over the bezels ever so often .. yeah I know Google should have probably calculated that into the build was just thinking about how I hate scratches on my devices trying to figure out a solution for you:-)
Dropping a comment here regarding my experience with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold after a week of ownership. I LOVE IT. It reminds me more about the original fold than i expected, something about the width of the front display reminds me of when inised to rock the OG Fold. For me perosnally, after daily driving a OnePlus Open which is excellent, i like this EVEN more. I do miss some of the features of the Open, but nothing too much to make me go back to it.
I’ve been so careful with this phone, even trying to keep it unfolded as much as possible, yet it still has some micro scratches in the same spot as yours (though far fewer). At this point, I’m starting to regret not choosing the Z Fold6 over the Pixel.
I saw similar things on my original pixel fold, main reason i didn't upgrade to the pixel 9 pro fold, Google just doesn't give enough clearance to the inside folding screen. I also have a Galaxy fold 6, and you can see they have this rubber gasket all along the edge which gives more separation to the inside screen when it folds.
Had mine for over a month now. With a black background I can see a bit more of the crease but normally not. I use a Pitaka case and don’t see the screen touch. All else is great. No creaks. No damage.
I started noticing grease leaving smears in those places where the two halves of the screen touch. Since then, I've been careful about cleaning the screen more frequently. So far so good. I also have a case on my phone, which seems to help prevent crud from getting in there in the first place.
I use a Zuslab inner screen protector and don't have any of the issues you have. Can't even tell its on but it does save it from small scratches due to being self healing. This is my second inner screen protector but found this company to be the best. No peeling whatsoever. And a amarid fiber case with glass screen protector on front. Waiting on my latercase to arrive
It's held up for me. Only gripe is I hear creaking occasionally when I open it. I'm told it's normal and I'm like "my fold 6 and OPO don't make those sounds." But it is what it is.
I got mine a matte screen protector. Helps hide the bend very well and protects the screen too. You have to repress at the fold on the top and bottom every now and then but only about a quarter inch becomes unstuck and needs to be pressed again. To be fair I put it on flat instead of middle first like i should have.
Had my 9 Pro Fold the exact amount of time as you. Everything you mentioned is identical to mine. So weird to see the exact same small issues. Especially since I'm a contractor and my use case is likely vastly different
Seems like a lot of these issues are specific to the inner screen. Which is expected cause it's the most fragile part. I'm still going to be looking to pick one of these up on sale since i don't own a personal tablet or laptop, so having the flexibility of a big screen is very beneficial for me.
They need to figure out how to make the inner screens some sort of shape-memory plastic or something, with the "remembering" temperature at about the usual operating or charging temperature, and have it self-heal over time if any pocket sand ends up leaving a dent...
Definitely noticing the same screw bumps and little microscratches where the screens end up touching a little (although not as severe because I'm OCD and clean my phone at least twice a day with a microfiber). Everything else has been a flawless experience.
I don't have ANY of these issues two months in with my 9 Pro Fold. I make it a habit of wiping my inner screen with a clean microfiber cloth before closing it. I have noticed the very slight bumps along the crease but I saw reports of these from other users a week into owning the device, so I expected it. Seems to be a part of the hinge.
The indention is not the screen itself. That's on the film screen protector. I had those with my old Z Folds, and when it came time to replace the screen protector, those indentions always were never affecting the actual screen. The actual screens aren't soft, They are glass. Watch Jerryrigeverything when he does his durability tests on foldables, even he points out it's actual glass and not plastic. They haven't been plastic since Motorola's first foldable.
I find the timing of watching this video to be hilarious for me. A few weeks ago for some reason in my dream I looked down and saw that I had a Fold 6, except...holy macaroni that screen was deadass peeling up from the center and had all sorts of issues like the ones you've pointed out in this video 😂
I have those little indentations on my OG Fold. Just on the plastic borders, at att 4 corner points. I'm guessing that's where micro dirt and dust rub against each other for countless times in the year and months of open and closing the Fold. Doesn't really bother me, as my inner screen is still fine, and displays just fine without issues with cracks or pealing of the factory screen protector.
I've always been cleaning my phones a bit more than everybody else, so dust and grime has no time to work itself into the phone's materials. My phone is therefore looking pristine, except for a pretty deep scratch on the front screen, which spans across the frame to the left of the screen to the hinge. This is probably from one of those occasions where I used the phone as a tripod for itself and had to rest the phone on the front screen. A bit annoying, but not the end of the world. I've been using the phone without a case of skin since I got it btw. And I can see and feel the screws of the hinge underneath my screen, but they don't concern me. All in all, I love this phone.
The only two things I've noticed so far is that the crease is more noticeable, but that was to be expected. The other thing is that I'm starting to hear a little bit of a creaking sound in the hinge. Now I have to try to listen but it's there.
Hello im a 9 pro fold user, i see the same type of issues you bring up. A question for you and im not sure if it is my device, does your hinge creek or make a sound when opening it? It's been like that out of the box and my z fold 6 doesnt rlly make a noise when opening. Great video!
I had the exact same problem with the dBrand skin. I wrote them and asked if they would be willing to send a replacement, as I'm a returning customer. They never even wrote me back. I bought a replacement. I probably shouldn't have but I like the skin. The same thing is probably going to happen to that "G" section again, though. Too many sharp edges.
The inner screen is really soft-surfaced, any hard touch by sharper nails or dust with bigger particles scratches or leaves marks, but I have also the first generation and it holds up until now, although now lying on the shelf 😊
Got matte protectors on the front and inner screen of mine, love the clean matte look. One thing I wish Google would let us do with the fold is have 4 separate wallpapers for the lock screens and home screen, like Samsung do. The logic of having the same wallpaper for such vastly different sizes of display makes no sense whatsoever! It's probably such an easy thing for Google to implement as well! 😡
I imagine it is easy, but I'm in the belief that Samsung has that patented. It's the only reasoning that makes sense to me why Samsung is the only one who has that ability.
@hobbitpsi 🤯 surely that can't be a patent though can it?! To be able to change the wallpaper? If that's a patent then I'd be amazed and it would be one of the most ridiculous patents I've ever heard of 😂
@@Alexander0189 It's a feature of OneUI and because it's Samsung's own Launcher on top of Android, then yeh they can patent it. It makes sense tbh just like theres some features Pixel has that Samsung doesn't.
@@hobbitpsi wow.. If that is the case then that REALLY sucks. I just didn't think something as simple as changing a wallpaper could be patented, but I guess anything can be 🤦♂️
@@Alexander0189 I mean it's been like that for years. Different brand patent even the smallest things. Like look at Apple, in the beginning and to this day they've patented facetime, that's why it took a while for android to get video calls natively and even then it's not the same as facetime. But yeh it's the only thing that makes sense otherwise we'd see all the same features from Samsung on not just Pixel, but also oneplus, xiaomi, huawei, etc.
Pixel 9 pro fold owner, 1 month so far its okay but u can really sense this phone is less durable than z fold.. very unforunate as i like the stock android experience way more than one UI and whenever u open it after not unfolding for a day or two it makes a squeaky noise.
Shane, like you said, the original pixel had the same issue. Same marks on the inner bezels and screen. I think just bad engineering. The OnePlus Open doesn't have this issue.
Yeah for sure seeing all the micro scratches along the bezel of inside screen. I noticed it a couple weeks after getting mine, definitely concerning because after only 2 weeks all these micro scratches showed up. And I take very good care of it. It's in a case and if I have to put it in my pocket, it's wrapped up in a microfiber, dust resistant cloth. Same with putting it in my bag. I actually don't keep this phone in my pocket due to what's happening with the screen on the inside. Not the screen but edges. I hear any kind of dust can be terrible for it so I try to keep it out of my pocket as much as possible. Wondering if it's a going to cause problems in the future for sure. And if it is going to cause problems, I hope Google will fix or replace it at no cost. Curious though, do you just not use any kind of lens protection or screen protection on the outside?? And with no case how are you not concerned with dropping it and breaking it??
I've had mine for half as long but I've had those dual vertical marks since the start. For me, they just wipe away with a soft cloth so perhaps that's a possible solution just keeping the screen clean. Not sure yet
I appreciate you pointing out all these things. For me it just reaffirms one of the main reasons i won't be buying a foldable anytime soon. Aside from my own reservations due to some of these issues, a device at this price has absolutely no excuse to have these issues. I get that pretty nuch all the issues you highlighted are cosmetic but for me its still not acceptable that a phone costing nearly $2,000 has these issues especially after just 2 months.
I have nothing on my inner screen so far, but I am always super careful when closing, always wiping with a microfiber cloth or at least blast dust off. My issue is that when closed the antenna lines are not aligned, they are off, like the two sides do not sit exactly on top of each other. Also I have a little "dent" on the edge of the screen, but this small dent is underneath the screen. You can see it with a light but not feel it, it's under one of the layers. Wrote Google about this, sent pictures, they keep saying they need more better pictures, I am not able to deliver better pictures. Now Google is just ghosting me. Very disappointed as a 12 year long customer.
@recyclebean. No I wouldn't, I would be very concerned that the day I remove it the one that is already installed comes off too. Also AFAIK it's not recommended
I think the real question is, how do you not have a case on your $1800 phone protecting it?!? I got the Pro Fold 9 and love it. Haven't noticed any of these issues. Even if I did, I can't imagine it would change my perspective on the phone much.
What music app y'all using. Spotify is quiet AF over BT and it's infuriating. Tried Pandora with same result so I'm wondering if there is a phone setting I haven't found. Wanted fold for Lightroom editing but this keeps giving me reasons to hate it.
Do you think that the dbrand protective enough? The Google store and other outlets have run out of the porcelain which is my preferred color but if I get the dbrand beautiful brown leather like yours it won't matter.
You and Flossy were the two youtube channels that got me to bite the bullet and buy the Pixel 9 Pro Fold (even though I already had the Z fold 6! haha) And I gotta say that I truly have been loving this phone! The camera, the software, the haptics, the outer display, it's all been great! My only real issue has been with some weird glitches here and there since moving to Android 15. But I'm chalking them up to just bugs google will iron out soon hopefully. As for the screen bumps I do have two of them, but they dont worry me and you literally cannot see them when the display is on. I think people just like to nit pick and over think things when it comes to $1,800 devices (which is understandable!). I just personally don't think it's going to cause any issues. Also, I'm curious to see what Samsung is cooking up for the Z Fold 7 because the Z Fold 6 SE looks AMAZING with it's bigger outer display and the 8 inch inner display which directly competes with the Pixel fold is crazy to see!
My bottom speaker is low and muffled, at lower volumes it's inaudible. Only had it for 2 months, all speaker holes appear to be clean and unobstructed.
So I've got a question, maybe you'll know it better than I. A co-worker got a Pixel 9 Pro Fold and when trying to play Real Racing 3 (amongst other games) there's a persistent black bar at the bottom. I picked through his settings, turned on developer options and picked through those too before conceding that I'm just not up-to-date enough on Pixel settings to help him kill the black bar. Do you know how to force things to be full screen when they natively aren't?
I'm unaware of a setting that addresses that. I've got some theories on what's going on, but nothing that I have any confidence in. It is something I've noticed though.
@scaryifliteral thanks for the feedback! I'd be interested in hearing/seeing your theories on why this may be happening. Also... that was my first time getting to hold and use a P9PF. Sat there using his for a solid half hour. Gotta say it was good stuff! Very nice being able to just point and get a decent shot (Samsung's got some work to do on that lol)
Question is, and this is respectfully asking of course. How often do you leave your house? How often do you really drop your phone? Has thr device been dropped getting out of a car? Or has it fallen face down on tile?
How bout an inner screen protector? Wouldnt that prevent those scratches and dust build up? Will you recommend having one? I am waiting on my Fold to come and I've ordered the inner screen protector so i can slap it on day 1. But i read from other foldable users that they dont recommend putting one due to risk of peeling off the factory installed one.
I hesitate between the Google pixel 9 fold and Samsung fold 6. I would usually go for the Samsung one but i hate One UI and prefer the material look of the Pixel
I don't do anything special with this phone or my other foldables and for whatever reason the Pixels are the only ones with these issues. My phones are never like disgustingly dirty as they get filmed all the time.
I need your honest opinion. I want to get P9PF to replace my 2 iPhones since it has the multi user feature. And I will sell my iPad Pro for a windows laptop instead. With AMD AI which is on sale vs the snapdragon Elite or should I go with the surface with the elite? Will I be happy with that combo more than 3 Apple devices?
@@AnthonyMartinez6567 I switched a couple of years ago. I like the windows surface with OLED and snapdragon x. I like the pixel pro fold and pixel is probably better for you coming from Apple. I like the zfold 6 as well
I have had z fold 4, 5, 6, ZERO issues!.. ( yeah the outer screen is tiny ! LOL) ..maybe Z fold 7 will have a bigger outer screen? Or better yet.. TRIFOLD Z 7 Ultra?..i would need samsung to give me 1200 trade in value for my 6 then.. 😅
To be fair, we're talking about some teeny marks that are only visible in very specific lighting lol. I get that some people would be bothered by it, but I'm only bothered on principal.
@ Sure. but depending on the use, how does one measure that? In today’s world most people have their phone in their hand every waking hour so realistically what do we expect from wear and tear with that much use?
Nice video. Google are making a bit too much hardware rookie mistakes they can improve with each edition. For me the things I don't like about this is something you didn't mention or you don't mind at all. I absolutely hate the outer screen with the ugly bezels that aren't symmetrical. And I don't like the Google software. It doesn't get a lot out of the Folding concept. But that is a personal taste.
@scaryifliteral yeah, that's what I assume it is too. It's just too loud for comfort and it makes me wonder if it's unique to my unit or not. I appreciate the response. Keep up the good work 💪🏾.
I really like you, state its your favourite phone but will still point out potential flaws. Hard to find guys like you on youtube, usually sponsored, bias bullshit. 👍🏻
It’s so refreshing honestly
He's arguably one of the better UA-camrs because he goes into great detail about his usage and its long term effects.
Just got mine this week. Surprised on the feel of it. Loving it

I thought it was just condensation 😄 glad I'm not the only one who has them. This never happened for the first month though so it's puzzling

I get it as well. Was literally about to Google the issue today. Mine aren't as long as these and wipe right off. Feel a little better that it's not just a me issue

Good choice of music 👍
Haven't had any issues with mine. I normally have issues with Samsung phones and their foldables but my P9P Fold has been a beast.
I have the smudges from the screen touching when closed and I have the bumps in the crease. These are the only issues that I've noticed so far.
I find the timing of watching this video to be hilarious for me. A few weeks ago for some reason in my dream I looked down and saw that I had a Fold 6, except...holy macaroni that screen was deadass peeling up from the center and had all sorts of issues like the ones you've pointed out in this video 😂
💀🍑
No noise for me, but my Open makes a crinkling noise and my Fold 4 got a bit noisy too.
I have all of the same things going on with my P9PF but like you, I still really like the device.
Thank you!! I posted on reddit about the bezel scratching INSANELY easy and was told by people to "take better care" of my phone...🤣
Pixel 9 pro fold owner, 1 month so far its okay but u can really sense this phone is less durable than z fold.. very unforunate as i like the stock android experience way more than one UI and whenever u open it after not unfolding for a day or two it makes a squeaky noise.
Same. The Samsung software is annoying af. But well made.
Maybe you have too much rubbish collected between/in your hinge?
Shane, like you said, the original pixel had the same issue. Same marks on the inner bezels and screen. I think just bad engineering. The OnePlus Open doesn't have this issue.
Oh my god the parallel smush lines! I thought I had done something weird with my phone to get those.
Been waiting for this one.
Just got my replacement fold a few days ago...screen died straight down the middle.
Hey Shane, mind sharing your inner screen wallpaper? :)
www.threads.net/@shanec.irl/post/DCISMvtveQd
3:15 can we remove the inner screen protector and replace it?
Yes, but I typically don't
Ngl I love it when I feature in your videos
You never know what conversation might spark something lol
@@shanecraigtechI just appreciate that you're happy to have them with me!
Would you consider putting a 3rd party inner screen protector? Or is that not recommended?
@recyclebean. No I wouldn't, I would be very concerned that the day I remove it the one that is already installed comes off too. Also AFAIK it's not recommended
That bezel is a micro scratch magnet.
I love any reason to get a new phone. Haven't found one that looks better than my OnePlus Open yet.
I think the real question is, how do you not have a case on your $1800 phone protecting it?!? I got the Pro Fold 9 and love it. Haven't noticed any of these issues. Even if I did, I can't imagine it would change my perspective on the phone much.
Too much bulk
What music app y'all using. Spotify is quiet AF over BT and it's infuriating. Tried Pandora with same result so I'm wondering if there is a phone setting I haven't found. Wanted fold for Lightroom editing but this keeps giving me reasons to hate it.
YT Music
@scaryifliteral you're a damn guardian angel
I am unable to specifically find any of the internal screen issues that you are seeing.
I wish the dbrand leather skin could cover all of the back and also the sides of the front...
Great information
Can we just imagine for a second... Google released the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with that leather backing AS THE BACK... Whew!!!
Do you think that the dbrand protective enough?
The Google store and other outlets have run out of the porcelain which is my preferred color but if I get the dbrand beautiful brown leather like yours it won't matter.
Skins are not very protective, no.
The screen touching thing affects my pixel fold 1. Bugs me, but like you say can't see anything when screen is on
You and Flossy were the two youtube channels that got me to bite the bullet and buy the Pixel 9 Pro Fold (even though I already had the Z fold 6! haha) And I gotta say that I truly have been loving this phone!
I'm watching on my honor magic v3 global ❤
Does the screen rubbing each other happen on other foldables?
Not that I have personally seen
I put a inner screen protector it fits perfectly and you almost don't notice it
Question is, and this is respectfully asking of course. How often do you leave your house? How often do you really drop your phone? Has thr device been dropped getting out of a car? Or has it fallen face down on tile?
Even when I worked a normal job I virtually never dropped my phones. In my entire life I've had I think two drops that caused visible damage.
I have the same 2 patterns on mine too but they easily wipes off though. Have you noticed any hinge creaking with yours when opening the phone?
No hinge issues
Got mine day of release. Not using a case. Looks and feels brand new.
Does the official case help with the inner screen touching when folded?
Not that I can recall
ahhh why did you point out the hinge screws, now I cant unsee them 😂
Why did you remove the screen protectors?
They had issues.
@scaryifliteral what kind of issues?
I hesitate between the Google pixel 9 fold and Samsung fold 6. I would usually go for the Samsung one but i hate One UI and prefer the material look of the Pixel
I blow / wipe my large foldable display, before I close it .. I try to make sure nothing is on my screen before closing it . .
I've not messed with AMD's stuff to have a strong opinion on it.
@ what about the iPhones to this 1 device? I personally want too but social pressure has me scared lol
@@AnthonyMartinez6567 I switched a couple of years ago. I like the windows surface with OLED and snapdragon x. I like the pixel pro fold and pixel is probably better for you coming from Apple. I like the zfold 6 as well
@@Maxx134a I loved the one plus open until I needed it repaired, 6 weeks under OnePlus warranty.
I want one😢rocking the s24 fe love the phone but shit
My man got the Mint Mobile hat in the back.
Any of the same issues with the one plus ?
Not really
Is anyone having issues with the phone on AT&Ts network?
Did they co make it at oppo ? Looks like it
but how much did you use it that time?
Couldn't even make it to 0:47.. lol
@ I made it. posted right after you started talking
My Fold 6 looks good as new with no physical defects whatsoever lol
Did anyone put a screen protector on the inside? I saw that the z fold 6 got one OEM
Yep. I use the Zuslab brand. Great
That's really bad that the screens can touch. No wonder the screen is looking so bad when there is nothing on screen. What a shame.
It is a bit of an odd decision.
my fold front screen stopped working, speakers bad, and gaming performance is ass.
Are similar screen and frame issues showing on z fold 6
No
I had the z fold 6 for a week and end up returning due to the narrow Aspect ratio. Any suggestions in how will the 9 pro fold feel in real life usage
It feels mostly like a normal phone
Do you see similar bumps on the Galaxy z fold?
I've seen bumps, not quite like these. From debris or the brushes I would guess.
Watching from my Z Fold 6 😂
Me too 😂
Watching from my Vivo x fold 3 pro😅
Im watching it also on my Z FOLD 6!! ZERO ISSUES! LOL… ill trade it in in perfect conditon next year for the z fold 7 ! 😅
Loving the phone! One thing I am noticing that's annoying is the hinge creaks when you first start to open it. This after just a few days with it.
@alpray4978 im not experiencing that issue with my hinge mine is quite
I have had z fold 4, 5, 6, ZERO issues!.. ( yeah the outer screen is tiny ! LOL) ..maybe Z fold 7 will have a bigger outer screen? Or better yet.. TRIFOLD Z 7 Ultra?..i would need samsung to give me 1200 trade in value for my 6 then.. 😅
I mean that's why I won't daily drive one. You need to live and work in a clean room to protect that inner display. 😂
To be fair, we're talking about some teeny marks that are only visible in very specific lighting lol. I get that some people would be bothered by it, but I'm only bothered on principal.
Despite the cost, anything you use as much as a phone will show signs of wear. 🙄
The degree matters
@ Sure. but depending on the use, how does one measure that? In today’s world most people have their phone in their hand every waking hour so realistically what do we expect from wear and tear with that much use?
I have the pixel 9 pro fold since launch and i have absolutely no issues at at all. Mine atill lokks brand new and i use ir daily mon srop
Thanks for making this update. Have you also experienced this issue that I have? ua-cam.com/video/iZT07Q7cqTg/v-deo.htmlsi=HTE-6PxTsi8Cc__u
I would assume that's the camera hardware for stabilization moving around, but it's hard to say without hearing it in person.
@scaryifliteral yeah, that's what I assume it is too. It's just too loud for comfort and it makes me wonder if it's unique to my unit or not. I appreciate the response. Keep up the good work 💪🏾.
