where I come from, dope means speed or smack. it's usually something that isn't just weed, and very bad. so every time I listen to this I imagine two young people in their twenties, or teens who have enough dope and smoke (cannabis) to feel comfortable for a bit. that primitive feeling you have with your first dysfunctional love, where you both know you're not good for each other, but you both continue enabling each of your bad habits. reminds me of simple times, before the real stresses of life took over.
So glad I found some dope ass music to listen to high and stuck in quarantine!!
