Most of the advice is very good advice however the unprofessional and overuse use of medication is why we have so many pigeon illnesses today that are impossible to treat. The only medication we should have used is the axe. If we'd done that our birds would be naturally healthy. There was a time when medical doctors gave out antibiotics hand over fist to humans. Today the conscientious ones only give medication when required. Too many of our old medication don't work now because the microbes have developed immunities and there are no new ones on the horizon.
Bill your correct about the microbes. but you are wrong about why they don't work on our pigeons. most antibiotics were used to grow live stock faster. I don't think your going to belive me but that is OK.

The problem has been and continues to be, pigeons enthusiasts have been sold a bad bill of goods in that disreputable people have talked them into using bad medicine. I know I could get bombed when I say that most pigeon guys are trusting or gullible and will buy into snake oil. Sadly there are no laws to keep the charlatans under control. Your knowledge though is sound. Please keep sharing your good advice.

I actually have that dog leg problem flying my YB this season I'm down in Florida the release point are a straight line for most of the flyers except for 2 of us once the bird get to one of the town from there my birds have to learn to split if not other flyers will get my bird and they will not came home I have a very hard training to do

Glory loft is still going the rest have long since gone to the pigeon coop in the sky. i miss bumping the clocks that sound of a 100 guys bumping the clocks was awesome
I will be selling some but I do get a lot of request for pigeons. I post them on an auction site, and can only ship with in the United States. I will post a video of the pigeons when I auction them.

some are a must others are snake oil. the only way to deal with that is to learn about them and use them only when needed.

Yes, you also must be sure they are healthy If you can do that they will be leading the way home
