    WD-40 is mostly Kerosene, Old timers would just use kerosene straight, but if you want to spend more for something with some additives WD-40 is the ticket. I like Kerosene, and usually have some kerosene lamp fluid around, that or paraffin wax are the ticket.

    @digestion87 Off course. Thats how it should be to deliver good work. The worker has to concentrate on his work and not where he is stepping to prevent him from injuring himself. I am a master craftsman in mechanical engenering from germany and and from my experiance i can tell it is much more productive to work in an clean and good enlightened environment than in the "normal" junk yard you will find all over the world.
    Btw. good Film!

    What course will lead to this kind of stuff, e.g. Mechanical engineering, Software engineering?

    • @echonozz8929
      @echonozz8929 10 років тому +2

      most of this is automated now a days, however there still needs to be people to program them. Out of the 2 you listed a mechanical engineer does similar things but much more than just machining. Software engineering is much different it is writing programs for computers.

      @MinecraftLetstime I think Mechatronics Engineering.

    • @echonozz8929
      @echonozz8929 10 років тому

      Divix Th mechatronics is the design of things that combine mechanical, electrical and computer engineering like cd players and hard drives.
      The best place imo to research this stuff is search potential schools for program info

    nah, it isn't hard to get used to it. apart from that, it's less expensive and not time consuming to keep it clean. i guess it's a matter of choice

    @captainbackflash The question then becomes which is more cost effective. A super clean machine shop would require a significant expense in labor to keep clean. There is a middle ground where extreme cleanliness and drop off in productivity due to a lower standard of cleanliness balance each other out.
