The problem is that you have no skirts and it needs sunlight/heat to get a bit stiffer, if you had a later model sc it comes with skirts and not as much of a problem.
I kinda half assed my kbd front fender, got it on but not all the bolts are twisted back on. But I just wanted to see what the kit would look like, it's really cool on my 93 SC, but I gotta redrill the holes and make em bigger so I can actually fit my headlights in correctly lol. It's tough, but it's fun. Also my first try
the older the car the more it tends to be warped in ways we cant see but new parts can. just got a '96 sc400 so im really looking forward to spending money on not having to deal with everything you just dealt with.
kool info. i am looking to get the aero full kit from kbd, not wide body. does anyone have any experience on the fitment of the front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper? thanks in adv
I ordered a full kit... as well as the fenders. Same deal with mine. Doors scrub. Very flimsy fitment. There is no mounting on the base. With the KBD skirt there still isn't even a solid mount. For the positive reviews I've heard of KBD.... it's a shame. I had the car slammed before with rolled fenders... but with these fenders not having solid lower means of mounting.... it's going to take a lot of fabricating
No, unfortunately we weren't able to... I'm going to have a new video coming this next week explaining the widebody issues. Make sure to subscribe to stay updated.
@@AbnormalGarage I actually figured mine out tonight. I should be editing the video together tomorrow after the car is back together. I have to fix the bolts that broke off the bumper corners and that's it.
To anyone with the OEM fenders, there is a bolt in right inside the a-frame, and another behind the headlight.

This is why you buy the whole set of skirts, and bumpers so the fenders don't be all flimsy and stuff.

I have the same fenders and am having the same problems. Did you guys ever get them sorted out?

Glad to hear you were able to get your fenders to work! Wish we could've gotten ours to fit properly.
You have to make them fit such as spacing them with washers etc.
Are you near San Diego, California? If so I am willing to help you guys get these to fit better.
Yall wanna send me that red drivers side fender? 😂
We would, but we sold the car a while ago. As well as all its parts.
