If demon slayer was adapted by literally any other studio other than ufotable it would flop.

hes right about the mystery thing, so many shows and mangas try to explain everything about the world and plot within the very beginning instead of letting the viewer discover along the way, thats how you keep people interested

Most mentally adjusted people read the manga, and only watch a couple of scenes here and there from the anime out of pure curiosity. If the anime kept the pacing from the first couple of episodes (manga volumes v.s. anime episodes), it'd be about 300 episodes. Still a lot, but 100 is nowhere naer enough.
People play wow for literal decades and people watch streamers 12hrs a day. Watching one piece is just the same

@@AYAYA_JUICER what did i just read. Fate/ the nasuverse in general has some of the most detailed lore in all of anime. DS yes was just an animation flex, because the source material is just a basic shonen. If you consider the Fate anime, most of the lore and stuff is flushed out to fit the basic 24 episode per series (or trilogy movie in heavens feels case). This did ruin a decent amount of the anime story, but its still better than most anime nowadays. You cant say its an animation flex if you havent tried the original source at all before 🤷♂️
