I personally feel every needs a friend like Ben. All the supports he gives you is unreal and hypes you up so much. Respect to Matt for landing the trick 🙏
All I could think about was just holding my bike and jumping off my roof a few hundred times (not even trying a trick) .... taking that slam over and over. And ever time he slams, he still has to carry his bike and CLIMB back to the top.... 337 times!!!! Holy shit!!! The conditioning of this man, is insane... I'm 35, I spend "a day" at the bike park (more like half a day) and I'm completely destroyed for the next few days.. and I only wipe out a couple times... He gets kicked in the teeth 337 times in a row, and kept smiling and trying.
Idt people quite understand the complexity of this trick! I mean if you know physics, then you will have a better understanding. But just the fact that he's trying to stop forward momentum on a dime, yet have straight enough legs to allow fot the rotation of the bike alone is insane. Then as he let's the bike keep its forward momentum and to help twist the handles back to help gain momentum in the opposite direction, using the bikes momentum to also carry himself into a full rotation. It's quite beautiful when you really think about it! Tbh, I think the hardest bit was fighting physics on that log. Because there's a lot of force being exerted on his legs because he's not only catching his weight but trying to stop the enertia magnifies his weight. Once u understand that, and then understand what it's like to do that with bruised and exhausted legs. THEN AND ONLY THEN CAN YOU TRULY APPRECIATE THIS TRICK, AND HIS DETERMINATION AND PERSEVERANCE! Congrats Matt!
Came here to see a flip, saw it was almost 34 minutes. Ended watching it all, and really wanted it to happen. I'm not even interested in bikes lol. Great vid.
When you watch him do the backflip onto the logs so many times it almost starts to look easy then I remember I'm too scared to try a backflip into a foam pit and I realize again what a next level rider Matt is

The amount of work that goes into these tricks is just insane. The perseverance, bravery and skill is just ridiculous. Love seeing these insights bts. So much respect for you Matt!
How exciting for other people to see this! To watch him crash and crash and crash but to get up every time and try it again! He did his utmost best everytime he went out there and his hard work paid off. You go Matt. That was probably the coolest trick I've ever seen and to see the grueling process was inspiring! Congrats man, congrats🤩🤩
Man, I’ve never seen anyone put this much work into doing a trick, you are a special person to be able to keep doing this. It does make me appreciate the final edit much more seeing all this work has gone into it.
I've been following Matt's 3 world's first journey and knew these tricks were hard and yet this video made this trick feel like the impossible trick it was..... MAD RESPECT!! Keep pushing the limits

I don't know if I've ever seen a more rewarding 30 minutes of YT video. You said you didn't talk to the camera much because you were so focused on getting the trick but you did a phenomenal job of engaging us and taking us on your journey. Well done mate! You see an amazing trick and think, 'yeah, that took a lot of practice' but this video captures the sheer amount of effort that can go into doing something that's never been done before. It's just unbelievable the effort you put in! Also, it was really enlightening that even at your expert level, after you nailed part of the trick, you didn't necessarily 'have it on lock'. When I'm trying a trick or jump or something, I get frustrated when I have trouble with it again after feeling like I got it. It was really interesting to me that even once you mentally figured it out you still had attempts where you got worse for a bit before you got better. It's those sessions where you feel like you're regressing that it's easy to give up. I never expected literally hundreds of attempts to pull of this stunning trick. This vid tells the whole story!
If you want skills progression, broken down into 1000 component parts for the win - then Matt just aced a MasterClass ! Pretty much the most Impressive thing I've ever seen. Pure tenacity (&blood, toil, sweat&tears)
