Which natural preservative can I use for an oil in water emulsion with salycilic acid? Usually the preservative is added to the cool down phase due to heat sensitivity. But with salycylic acid the preservative is added to the water phase then heated. Does the heat affect the preservative? Must the final pH be between 3 and 3.5?
