  • Russell Manser grew up in Lethbridge Park, a low-socio economic suburb within the Mount Druitt Estate in Western Sydney.
He admired criminals from a young age which led him down a path of crime. During his first incarceration at Daruk, the notorious juvenile detention centre in Windsor, he was sexually abused numerous times which led to a life of trauma, drugs and anger.
Russell was later committed by a Children’s Court Magistrate to the adult Long Bay Jail, despite having just turned 17 years old.
On his first night at Long Bay, he was housed with convicted pedophiles who sexually abused him repeatedly. His abusers would also inject him with heroin, which later led him down a path of addiction.

This is a man obviously deep in thought with a life lesson for anyone who has ever strayed, lost themselves, been victim to those who prey and feed off thr internal trauma Russell so aptly describes. This is testimony to NEVER give up, ALWAYS listen to your inner truth and share by telling... self aware and a conscience that brings to bear tge struggle ro overcome the demons of addiction and doubt in the world, life and yourself. That even throughout his remarkable journey we see an awakening that if it saves one tortured soul, was worth it, let alone the contented heart that comes with the wisdom of age and past actions. All power to this very brave, intelligent and experienced man. People can travel the world and NEVER find the solace ir integrity of a msn of his calibre. Go well old son :)

Miss my uncle Timmy Matthews this video triggered my childhood trauma last year I went off the rails completely due to also being tampered with something that none of the family knew about it's fucked when it was one of your own family members that got ya hope the rockspider reads this because they'll get theirs I lost it but I've come back from that frame of mind I always do you think dad an Tim are the crazy ones 😂 i think about bruiser everyday taught me alot of life lessons uncle did also prepared me for the death of loved ones by always telling me that they won't be around for ever didn't help but it took the edge off raw comment but it's the truth and it's no skin off my nose respect brother I loved hearing you speak about the man I looked upto so much and still do Rip Timmy Matthews forever in my thoughts now in dream time ❤🖤💛

Tertiary prep course changed my life! I was lost and school was for sure not for me. I'm now the nurse manager of an emergency department, with post graduate qualifications. I'm sure my life would've gone very differently without that course(i was a bit of a shitbag), it was great to being able to do it my own way with a focus on uni success and real life skills.

i was from a similar area and my first encounter with police was life changing. Decades later i know that my attitude about police was shaped by these encounters. I dont hate them, but i see them as stupid. They dont have the same freedoms to abuse today, but they are still just as stupid. It’s a certain kind of stupid. That’s why they join a gang. It’s infantile.
