I've had the people who make the burgers at Hungry Jack's or whatever make mistakes before and yeah, I just did what you said. I went to the counter and said "sorry, I asked for such and such, but I got this instead," and the kid behind the counter said "oh, I'm sorry, I'll just get that sorted out for you," and had them make a new one that was right. Then I said thank you with a smile and ate my burger. It actually takes less effort to achieve positive results than freaking out at the $14 an hour child labourer.

28:50 Here to say - once again commenting on this tiktok - that dropping water/ice in hot oil is seriously dangerous: It's how my father was left scarred on his left hand. He got lucky.
The oil will sizzle and bubble, sometimes reacting explosively (pretty sure that was the intent with the ice). Meaning that boiling hot oil is exploding everywhere from the point of impact. This tiktok is evidence of someone endangering a fast-food worker; evidence of someone risking painful burns and life-long consequences for a stranger - for a fucking video.
That's not mentioning the instant steam, which will scald - or the fire hazard it is to do this.

@@hoidoei941 Knowledge is a privilege: Retaining - remembering - and sharing is never a given. Assuming everyone has the same exact experience of life as you do is a fallacy.
I would not have known for myself had it not been for my father's accident.
So mock me as you want. I believe the true mockery is bashing on the people who would benefit (like I would have without him or his accident), with the privilege of already being equipped with this knowledge.

I was born and raised in tunisia as a kid. When I was 16 there were some American tourists who overheard me and my friends use some english in our arabic (it's common for us in slang to use a bit of english and french here and there), and the dude, whom I assumed was the husband of the woman and father of the 3 kids, came up to us and literally said, word for word "Oh, so people here CAN speak english, huh? Her employer was absolutely correct to fire her. This is an indication of how she behaves when she believes she can do so with impunity, to people she regards as subordinate. If she was to give “simple directions” to a new hire or a subordinate in her own workplace, and if they made an honest mistake - or if she was just dissatisfied - then there’s every likelihood that she’d hector and disparage them, since she has more power over them.

    The phone charger clip.
The plane had to deboard. She had her dog with her so she was one of the last ones to leave, she was being kind to other passengers, as she walked to leave she saw the charger on an empty seat. She picked it up and tried to give it to one of the flight attendants but they informed her they do not hold lost items. Since she did not know if they were going to rebosrd the same plane she put it in her pocket so when the passengers reboarded she would return it, or if it was a different plane she was going to ask the employees to make an announcement. The guy filming was a total SeeYouNextTuesday. He made a huge deal a out in, not only what you see but he continued on social media. Shaming her.

It annoys me when people say things about others in the gym when they aren’t true - these women just think they are that special. There are people who actually do film others & this minimises the actual creeps getting what’s coming to them. On holiday in Lanzarote a few weeks ago this creepy middle aged guy was filming my 13 and 17 year old girls in the pool and only stopped and ran off when my mum went over. If I had been there I would have approached from behind and filmed what he was filming before showing him rather than going directly to him and allowing him to lock his phone and leave the pool area as he now has videos of my children on his phone.

Correct. The US is one of like a handful of countries that DOESN'T have a national language. But I think to help assimilate people it would be helpful if they learned English, or if we established a national language. It becomes problematic when people can't communicate with each other, especially with people like law enforcement, schools, etc.. That being said, we're a melting pot of a country, and no one should be shamed for speaking another language here. Maybe they DO know English and they just don't want to talk to your rude self lol. I live in Texas, super diverse, right by the border. I know a lot of people who came here, legally, from other places and learned English from old nick at nite shows like Gilligan's island lol. I have an immense amount of respect for those people, that is not an easy thing to do. English is fkn weird lol. Although.. they raised their kids to ONLY speak English, as a way to fit in, and now their kids (I went to school with a couple of these kids) are mad they don't know another language because it would have been really beneficial 😂😂 So if you come to America from another country with another language, maybe try to learn some English.. but also teach your kids your language as well. Plus you can talk about strangers in public without them knowing 😊

People like this exist, the second they feel slighted, no matter how small, they lock up, see the red mist and feel justified in any atrocity they commit. Sadly, I have some first hand experience, and it's like I'm seeing the same person.
