We have it. Very impressive at that price.
That Mac 25... Apparently TW's business model includes pissing away $1700 for no apparent reason.
The one on the side? Yeah.
Grab that only bottle of PEERLESS BOURBON!
I see Peerless quite often around here. But Rye more often I think.
I can’t go to the whiskey section of my local Total Wine without the staff bugging me within 30 seconds. “What are you looking for?” “What do you like?” “What are you drinking these days?” Ugh! Go away!
Ha yes I had to cut them off last time before they AGAIN recommended a Glen Fohdry or was it Grangestone :-)
It just hit me that the GOT series will be worth a laughable amount in 30 years. It has the perfect mix of quality, variety and availability. Everyone will have had them so they know what it is but no one will keep it because its cheap enough to throw aside. Now you tap into both TV and Whiskey nostalgia and you have 2 separate collecting categories combining on one series of products.
I will not be surprised if in my lifetime I see that collection sell for 10-25 thousand somewhere along the line to a rich, GOT whiskey lover
Maybe they will still be selling it
Where's the sangria at? Lol
I will make sure to cover it next time :-)
@@WhiskyMystery lol thanks man.
call me crazy but I will clear all the mellow corn rack 12.99 give me all the bottles ok ok maybe two gonna let some for the fellas!
in the other hand jack Daniels Barrell proof in so good glad the 750L!!!
haha
This prices are way to high!
For which bottles?
Laphroiag 10 for $37 was pretty decent but there are some crazy prices going on.
@@gregunrau7031 Which ones? Bunnahabhain 25?
@@WhiskyMystery I have to look again but I was basing the pricing on what I pay on Canada where we dont have 25% tariff and then converting it to USD which happens to be 35% less than CDN. I will watch again because it is awesome and let you know. Also what is the ABV on the JD SBBP half bottle that you bought?
@@WhiskyMystery Bunnahabhain 25 is $270USD here. So ummmm $899USD is truly highway robbery.
Pretty awful customer service. Even though you said you were just looking, he didn't even offer assistance. I'm assuming he has no idea how to talk whisky. lol.
They have a script to follow so need to talk whisky :-) Unless it is the official buyer and I forgot his name but that is a real conversation.
@@WhiskyMystery Thanks for the reply. There lies the problem, as someone in the industry, it is disingenuous and robotic and it came across as very forced. I know we have a very small perspective through the lens of the camera, but it didn't seem like they were incredibly busy, at least not busy enough for him to offer up a suggestion or simply let you know that you can find him if you do run into questions. Just food for thought really, I think they can do better than that lol.
@@daxveralux4448 Total Wine Staff are very friendly and do offer help everytime I go in. They just follow up with a recommendation I do not need.
@@WhiskyMystery Fair enough. :).
