Here's a big tip. Ships have a better ratio for shard shop currency than character shards do. (Also, always pick up cassian's u-wing in cantina store, as it is better value than characters, as it gives 5 ship shards, not 4)
Yes, that's what I do. 4 ship shards are worth slightly more than 10 character shards in the shard shop. So every day I buy the 3 times 4 ship shards in galactic war (the 3 x 400 green currency). With the cantina currency there's always Cassian's ship there. Also in the weekly shipments I always buy the shards that cost 1 million credits to convert them in shard shop currency.
Piece of advice: whenever you can, get 4 shards of a ship for shard shop currency instead of 10 shards for a character. It may not look like it, but it’s worth slightly more currency: 10 character shards gives 150 ss currency, while 4 ship shards give 152 ss currency. This will make a difference over time, particularly with galactic war currency, where you can always spend the tokens on ship shards As a side note, I would reccomend getting cassian’s u-wing to 7 stars ASAP, no matter what you are farming. It’s available in the cantina shop, and it’s the only ship available to purchase shards 5 at a time, so every purchase will give 190 shard shop currency instead of 152.
Glad I’m not the only one who uses currency on ships. I knew you got an extra 2 shards but didn’t realise that Cassian’s ship was 5 shards instead of 4. Makes me happier that I’ve been I buying it from the cantina shop anyway
So are you saying buy extra ships when you have them maxed out to get shard shop currency? Or are you just saying buy ship shards to max out the ships that are available?
It's for content like this that your subscribers continue to watch and support your channel, even when they may have stopped playing the game itself. Thanks again for the dedication and creativity you've shown all this time. Bravo. Well done
Hey ahnaldt. I absolutely love watching your videos and they really helped me get my slkr. I also just unlocked darth Malak and just wanted to say thank you for putting in the effort to help and entertain us! Long live the empire!!!!
As a general rule, I've been hoarding up Mk 7 Nubian Scanner and Mk 5 CEC Fusion Furnace salvage, mostly from the Guild Activity store. Both are unfarmable with energy and only come from raids, so every now and then its a bottleneck. Sometimes they show up at the bottom of the Squad Arena store too.
My other suggestion: The shard shop currency store always has one of 3 gear pieces in a certain location: 3 rows from the top, in the middle of the row. Every character needs about 200 of those pieces to go from gear 12 to gear 13. I buy them almost every time. It's much more efficient to farm those pieces that way and use fleet energy (that isn't being used to farm ships) to farm the gold-colored gear 13 pieces that you need (the ones that would cost 720 shard shop currency if you bought them from the store). Also, if you want to farm gear from the Conquest store, the best gear in my opinion is the 50-cost pieces that come from the Heroic Pit raid. I buy those pieces every time I see them. I never have enough of them, and they are very expensive from the guild store.
A more Efficient way to Gearing is to, use the first full energy you automatically have when you login daily for character shards, and use all the other 3, 50 shard refreshes for gear alone so you just laser focus on one character, if i usually have leftover energy i just use it again on gear, as when it comes to the gearing process, its usually a little different for farming relic gear in the fact that your goal is split in to two, pre gear 12 and gear 12, so like i can agree when it comes to a point of gear 12 maybe you can start farming more characters while farming for gear. This is just a method so you can support your gear buying method for gearing characters
What sucks is that for gear 12 you need ship energy, which regenerates slower and you only get once a day. I use my normal energy to farm 3 ships, cantina energy for relics and ship currency for 1 ship (the echelon). I have about 300 energy left per day for gear and about 150 ship energy for G12.
Farming one character at a time really isn’t a good idea, you don’t need to use 99% of your energy on gear in fact go check darth loquitors Chanel, if you farm gear Efficiently you barely have to use any normal energy for gear
I have a few tips: I like to cap my energy this way: 3 refreshes (150 crystals, 360 energy) + whatever I have at the end of the day/first thing in the morning. If I need to farm characters, I make sure the total amount of energy needed adds up to no more than 480. If I finish a character farm, and can't figure out what to replace it with, I usually just farm gear until a new farm makes itself known. Over long periods, farming gear with leftover energy really adds up. I try to go through cycles where I relic characters, and then a period where I spend some time gearing characters to 12, which frees up cantina energy for character farming instead of relic mat farming. This even works if you're farming GL's. I will usually make teams out of the requirement, spend some time getting one squad to Gear 12, while farming character shards with cantina energy (e.g. I'm getting my Imp. Troopers to Gear 12 while I farm Sith Marauder for SEE. Once Sith Marauder is at 7*, I will spend the freed up cantina energy on getting Veers to Relic 3). I will occasionally max refresh cantina energy if GAC deadline is coming up, and I want to have another relic level in time. Otherwise, I generally don't refresh cantina energy cuz that shit is expensive. The best (and arguably only) time to max out your cantina energy refreshes is during double drop events. If there's a marquee character you really like, and you don't want to wait for the node to become accelerated, consider spending the 25 crystals to refresh the node once a day (provided you are still below your 480 energy balance). I did this with Moff Gideon and Dark Trooper at the time, since their nodes were only 60 energy each. If you have spare energy after you've done all your character farms (i.e. you don't need any Gear 12 -> Gear 13 pieces), farm Kyrotechs, because virtually every marquee character these days needs a couple sets. I am currently in that spot where I am working on getting GMY to R8 for Kenobi, and Wat Tambor isn't 7*. I am laser focused on JMK right now, so if I can't get any of the requirement from G12 to G13, I spend the energy on Kyrotechs. Also, if you're starting to get into relicing, look up Ahnalds video for converting gear to relic mats. You will probably have a massive stockpile of gear, and if you aren't efficient with the conversion, your supplies will dwindle half-way into your GL farm (kind of like me at the moment, although I'm at the end just about).
If you are planning to convert the tokens in the Cantina Battles store into shard shop currency (which you should do!), I recommend taking Cassian's ship to 7 stars and buying that exclusively. I'm pretty sure it's worth more shard shop currency per purchase than anything else in that shop.
Not exactly the topic of the video, but here’s a bit of a quick relic tip: the second to last gear slot in guild token can be 5 blue mk7 roombas (I don’t remember its name) and it costs 150 tokens. Those 5 roombas can be turned into ~33 chromium transistors, which can be a major pain point for players more so than heatsinks or other higher relic materials
3:02 - Damn, I already do that 3:48- Damn, I already do that 5:30 - Damn, I already do that 13:24 - Wait what? Oh damn! I’m sitting on millions of this! Thanks !!
I can totally agree with the marathon method; I started seriously farming SEE las year in December, and got him unlocked a couple of weeks ago. Gear crunch hit me hard, especially with Kyros
Haven’t watched in full yet but this advice goes beyond just the farming part and it helps that I’m f2p so I’ve been doing this for years: 1. Stop partially gearing every single character! Seriously. This will help you loads because you’ll have the most amount of gear, most of the time, for the characters you need. It’s okay to do it for teams that you’re actively working on or maybe you need to fulfill a gp requirement. 2. Hoard as best you can because as Ahnald said, Carbanti’s are going to be needed forever. 3. Pay attention to guild raid/event store specific gear pieces. Notably the MK 7 Nubian Security Scanner Salvage in the guild raid store. There are some other gears that Ahnald will surely say in the video, like Carbanti’s. 4. Hoard a certain amount of gear before you start using it. Sometimes when you reach 500 carbanti’s, usually the other kinds of gear you need happen to have been farmed up passively. 5. Create a list of notable gear that can’t really be passively farmed. For me I’ve noticed that MK 9 Biotech Implants, MK 4 Zaltin Bacta Gels, MK 7 Kyrotechs, MK 5 Thermal Detonators, etc., aren’t among my regular farming nodes. 6. This is a bit of a 50/50, but do try to focus on gear slightly more than getting characters. But depending on your needs you might need to farm character stars more than the gear. Whatever the case, don’t let one side take over the other too much because it can be easy to bottleneck your progress on either side. Edit: Ahnald did cover a good bit of other things to pay attention to and 7. I’d like to reinforce that going to the squad arena store and getting gear from there is also incredibly helpful.
Executor is extremely important for the fleet meta, so I highly recommend getting razor crest shards from the fleet store whenever you see them. Save up about 1600-2000 fleet currency, and only buy zeta mats when you have that (1600-2000) plus 2000. That way, you'll always have enough to buy some. I don't care what you're farming, if you don't start getting razor crest shards until you decide to start pushing for executor, you'll be stuck farming razor crest for 10 million years from the fleet store and everyone's FAVORITE 'gamemode' proving grounds.
Grand Admiral, Hello There!! Watching how far your f2p account has grown encourages me and, hopefully, a lot of new players. The game might appear to be a little harsh to f2p players but the path to grind is still bearable! Ps. Got my first batch of 60 Maul shards today and, also, around 80% done with JMK. I believe that I'm only missing the signals, and lots of signals! Like I stated in earlier videos, every piece of gear is hoarded up, I'm thinking about making a montage video when everything's ready. Hopefully, I'd be able to show it to the Kyber Club and you!!
New players: DONT spend the Get 1 (guild events currency) if you’re going for Darth Malak, General skywalker, Hermit yoda, or wampa!!To upgrade them you need 50-80k to take them to 7 stars. HOARD IT, TRUST ME
@@tfossgh For GET1's, Hermit Yoda and Wampa you can farm them from scratch, Darth Malak and General Skywalker you need to unlock first at 5* and farm them to 7*. If you aren't in a hurry for Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker [the only reason I know of to gear up Wampa], you can instead get his shards 20 [10 x 2] at a a time when Galactic Bounties I comes around, though you should probably be using that event for Rebel Officer Leia Organa if your guild is doing Geonosis monthly instead of Hoth. Use your GET2's to 7* Negotiator and Malevolence, then for gear. I'm not sure exactly for which gear to use the tokens and which to farm from nodes, though I'm sure more experienced people than I have done that math.
Good guide, but just a pointer about the bookmarked toons vs gear "notifications"; You'll still get a small icon on the gear that a certain toon needs if you haven't completed the whole gear. If you only have completed the sub-gears, the requirements will still show up, even if you have finished said sub-gear.
20:30 Mk 5 BlasTech Weapon Mod Prototype ! You should always buy that ! These are a pain to come across and to farm ! Always make sure to save 180 squad arena currency to buy that when it shows up !
After not fighting her at least 50 times, I finally finished the Padme event with a relic 3 Jango, gear 9 dooku, droideka, spy and gear 8 geo soldier. Droideka clutched for me
I would advise getting every character/ship in the cantina, gw, sa, fleet and guild store. Gives you a good completionist feeling and you can farm shard shop currency afterwards. Only the get currencies shouldn’t be wasted and put only into the exclusive characters
This helps a lot! Thank you GA! one good tip I can give is to always farm fleet battle 1-g since that's an easy way to get mk3 sienar holo projectors, which I still need for so many characters
Hope vacation went well! Can't wait for the stream tomorrow for you to regail us with stories! Btw , had to use the zeta list yesterday and again, it was helpful to have them separated by faction! Thanks
If it’s not already below, the other “must buy” gear is the MK6 Athakam Medpac Salvage in the Shard Shop, particularly as you start to get G12 characters. I believe every character needs at least 40 of these. It’s also in the Guild Event store if you have the extra currency.
MK6 Athakam Medpac Salvage, Mk 8 Nubian Security Scanner Salvage, Mk 7 Chiewab Hypo Syringe Salvage, Mk 7 Nubian Design Tech. You can farm all of them except the Mk 7 Nubian Design Tech from the Normal Fleet Battles stages 5-F through 5-H, but the drop rates are abysmal.
Piece of advice: in squad arena, at the bottom, there’s none low teir gear available. It’s not all useful, but occasionally there is some available that is rare Edit: I see that he said it at the end, but I think he’s underselling the value of it. There are some annoying low gear pieces that show up a lot in that store
Don't use guild event for gear untill you have wampa Hoda gas and Malak 7 star. If you don't get them sooner you will regret it later. Hoard the get1 and put every bit of get2 into negotiator and then malevolence. You can buy gear when you have all the toons.
@@darthplagueisthewise4560 if you are planning on playing the game long term at all you should save. Malak and gas especially are game changing characters.
You helped me so much when I got into the game in 2021 and I saw your 2021 farming guide and it honestly helped me so much with your f2p videos along the way and I went for slkr and now I'm very close to having my second GL Jedi Master luke I just got r2d2 to g12 and only have to get r2d2, Mon Mothma, wedge and biggs, princess leia and the y wing is almost done so thank you GA 💙
No matter your level - if your day one - Join a guild. Save all your guild shop currency and get wampa shards. There’s no Min requirement so get him before gear and then gear him all the way up and relic him and give him his zeta/omicron. He helps your GAC in a mind blowing way - he is value for money so to speak. Then start buying gear once he is 7*.
In all These years since they added the option to Sim nodes ive learned one Thing. For example U have 160 Energy and want to Farm cabantis on a 8 node i dont Sim 20x8 i Sim 5x8 4 Times. It gives me much more Gear in nearly 90% of all my sims ive ever done.
Something I haven’t seen anyone say is in guild activity store. There are certain gears you can’t energy farm and those are really important since it’s the one place you can get them
I'm at the point where I've been playing for almost a year and a half, and I was wondering how efficient it was to spend all my unused cantina, arena and other tokens since I have all but a few of those characters unlocked. Then this video popped up in my feed! Perfect timing and super helpful!
I’d recommend to never buy gear in the Guild Events store. These credits must be saved for Hermit Yoda, Wampa, Malak, GAS, Negotiator & Mal. You can get gear in different shops, event rewards, dailies, & farming. Also don’t bother bookmarking a toon you’re actively gearing. That mark tells the algorithm to throttle the gear you need. Just make a mental note or create a squad of toons you’re actively gearing as a work around
This should probably be flagged as very good new player advice, as that's what it is moreso than a gear farming guide (which is not to detract from the video in any way) One point I would add is that the Mk3 Sienar Holo Projectors are fairly economical to buy for crystals. To the point that you should never farm them with energy (you can get them included with other things you're farming) as the exchange rate buying them for crystals is better than the rate using crystals to do energy refreshes. Also, the top gear item you should be focusing on in the Squad Arena store is the Mk 7 Nubian Scanner. That thing is only available there and in the guild store (and as a raid reward).
There's really two ways to use cantina currency. You can use it as listed here, which is probably the most common and best way, but you can also use some for ship credits which can help you buy good mods. I definitely think the way stated here is the better of the two for at least 75% of the time, but there are mods in the store you will almost never get by random chance. Try to keep some credits and ship credits around for farming those as well.
This may sound goofy but right some stuff down in notepad or physically. I have particularly good farm nodes to farm pieces for relic along with exactly what it takes to get a character from relic 0 to 5 since a lot of very good characters require several relic 5 characters.
Thank you for making this guide. I wasn’t sure what to farm with my Guild Currency, nor was I sure how I should be farming gear for Gear 13. Hopefully, this makes my Galactic Legend chase a little easier.
This whole game is a psychological test. The only reason I'm ahead of my brother, who has an account 2-3 years older than mine, is because I do just about every meaningful thing I can to progress. Sadly his motivation and overall fun has been drained by CGs mind games, and the only reason he plays is because of me
4:55 this exactly what i did just got most of the characters that show in the store to 7* so then after that it’s shard shop currency hoarding time bby!😁
Me and my brother recently got back into the game after giving it up years ago. We really enjoy the content you put out. Super helpful to all players, new or old / whales or F2P . Wondering if maybe you could make a new tier list for fleet / ships. LONG . LIVE . THE EMPIRE 🌔
Many higher end guilds (250M+) will have one to two spots available for lower GP players. It doesn't hurt to ask. However, you will have to put in the work. They won't keep you if you think you can ride for free.
Galactic Challenges are also quite important to participate in because of 6 dot mod slicing mats, which can't be farmed in shipments. Character shards there are nice too, I never farmed Shaak Ti and I have her at 6 stars
Dang, its great to be in the empire today! This is great, for I am a veteran player and am about to get my first GL SEE and this video still gave me sum tips I completely forgot about!
I've been playing for 5 months on my account and have gotten a reliced KRU already, only need 8 shock prods for G13 hux, and multiple 7 star ships like silencer and slave 1. I normally dont do 3 fleet refreshed every day, but rn there is an enfys nest event and I have done 3 a day on gear and tieA, and have gotten 130 enfys nest already from that. What I'm saying is during fleet energy events I normally do 3 refreshes because I am also getting another character
ive been f2p for a while now with over 100k in ally points that I havent touched but converting to ss currency is gonna be a huge boost. thank you! maybe make a mod video sometime cuz I dont understand them at all
Piece of advice: The 720 shard currency G12+ gear bits are not really efficient, it is better to buy only the 360 shard currency from among the the G12 ones. The lower tier ones are generally worth picking as well (mk5 stun guns, mk7 solid eyeballs, mk3 carbantis, mk4 bacta vials), with exception of the raid gear (that are bought 3 apiece).
Just an advice, mk5 stun guns and mk eyeballs are not an issue anymore, you will be swimming in them with daily challenges. Focus on carbantis and mk4 bacta, those are still scarce.
I spread myself way too thin at the start. Starting to focus now on StarKiller, then going back and building my Padme and CLS teams up to relic, then the same for revan and darth revan teams
Ahanld started his f2p about 2 months before mine. I've been saving extra crystals and buying the weekly droid brains from shipments with crystals. Sooner or later I'll need to R9 someone and I plan to be ready. Also, I've started saving my GET1 and GET2 currency. I plan to stock up about 70k of both and then buy gear with everything after that. That way I'll be ready to 7star gas and possibly the negotiator when ready.
Try to gear up factions that have assault battles, the free Zetas and relic materials really help you avoid getting stuck. When farming characters don't refresh the node, instead spend the energy on a different character. So instead of 1 character in half the time you get 2 characters in a normal time. Notice that if you refresh nodes you end up getting 2 characters in the same total amount of time as if you just farmed normally. Those crystals only end up getting you an individual character faster, but not any faster on your general roster unless you want to spend even more regular energy
I completely agree, I’ve been doing that forever now. I was doing that when farming Bad Batch, I would refresh my energy and just get a few shards on the next character and by the end I unlocked all of them around the same time. It’s better to wait the next day until it refreshes the character node naturally than to use crystals, it’s a lot more efficient that way Now I’m doing that with the Inquisitors, reluctantly though.
Quick question, have you been trying on fleet battles or is your shard super hard? I have basically the exact same fleet as you (6 star echelon, 5 star finalizer etc) because I rushed slkr too but I can consistently get rank 8 and beat malevolence and negotiator in my shard while you are rank 48
What I do when I get close to a gl is I save not only most of my energy, but also my crystals, while this puts me behind in having relics ready it makes sure I can have enough refreshes to get the Gl unlock ASAP, I usually have up to 4-5k crystals saved up with when going to up to 400 crystal refreshes a day can give you loads of energy, getting relics is pretty easy after you get the gl unlocked because you can spend your crystals on that, or alternatively you can spend your left over crystals on the gear you need to get from g12 to g13 either way you need to SAVE up energy for gls
unrelated, but a good way to win against gac opponents with much higher gp (or just in general) is to try get underdog banners on offence and place banner sniping teams on defence
I couldn’t agree more with buying prestige materials from the squad arena store. I slacked on those at first thinking I was in great shape but lemme tell ya those capital ships can literally eat through 1,000’s of them like nothing.
I was just wondering since I don’t see it in play much, what is the importance of farming the Emperor’s shuttle? Is it needed for another unit? I looked around and didn’t see anything. Great video Ahnald!!
@ ahnaldt101 did they just do something funky with relic farming. I'm hitting the eggnog but something is obviously off the og. I had 2000+ transistors for instance and noticed I had 23. And now it seems like other gear is available to break down
This tip might not be the most helpful cause it’s rather scenario heavy but for me I’m gonna finish finalizer tomorrow and finally start the SLKR event but for about a few months I was unable to start cause all the characters were done but the ship wasn’t and things like hounds tooth and them weren’t 7 starred so for anyone else in similar positions where you’re just waiting for one thing to rerun or something to finish a farm what I did was I waited for finalizer to come back and started working on JMK reqs for the gear so by the time SLKR is unlocked I can go back to building him but once that’s done I’ll already have put in some prep work for my next goal that I’ve set for myself. I’m sure a lot of people already do that kind of thing but hopefully someone can make use of that advice
Been gearing separatist droids for GAS lately and getting them to gear 11 or 12 has been SO SLOW, it sucks that progressing through purple gear tiers are still such a hastle when we have things like relic 9....
The biggest insult is that you need Cantina energy to farm relic signal data pieces, but CG keep adding characters like Kyle, Talon and Dash in there. I need to increase my relic levels and farm characters but I can’t when CG keeps adding characters in the Cantina nodes. Luckily I spent a good deal getting characters to 7 stars but I still need Ebon Hawk and a few others
Hey Ahnald I just started a fresh account pushing for SEE as my first fleet so i Can go right into starkiller with Palpatine and Mara set up. With the grand arena crystal changes my big priority is gonna be my Empire fleet since it’ll boost my crystal farm in Fleet arena and GAC. My main account is farming towards GL kenobi and is heavily galactic republic and separatist focused so I wanted to create a second account to focus on the Empire and the rebel characters.
I'm a pure F2P just writing so that people can see I'm going to unlock 4 GLs in less than a year, I've already received one and the second very close to unlock
I think the message is pretty clear but I'm going to ask for clarification here. I am framing JML and I know to get JKL first. I need to finish the relics and get my 6* falcon to 7*s. I need 2 BH ships to 7* to do it. I noticed though that if I spend 80 energy a day on another BH ship I am working towards Executor. If I'm not mistaken, your advise would be to only focus on the 2 ships and not 3 so that the extra energy could be used on my G12s and G13s?
I'll yap tomorrow, I'm still working out SLKR at 588 speed and if he can do phase 1 of CPIT 🤔 I'm sure mine can but hey, hope you enjoyed the vacation 👍
I'm around 4mill gp and honestly dont have a problem with carbantis, got over 1k now. the real problem for me is kyros both kinds need thousands of them constantly, most other gear you just buy in the shops but this feels like the only gear piece i farm
Here's a big tip. Ships have a better ratio for shard shop currency than character shards do. (Also, always pick up cassian's u-wing in cantina store, as it is better value than characters, as it gives 5 ship shards, not 4)
yeah.. but then you need the swing at 7 stars🤣
ALSO Cassian's U-wing is great with Finalizer (and also just great in general)
I have 4.5 mil gp and didn’t know this so thank you
Yes, that's what I do.
@@ekidocodm6291 worth it for all the new rebel ships
Piece of advice: whenever you can, get 4 shards of a ship for shard shop currency instead of 10 shards for a character. It may not look like it, but it’s worth slightly more currency: 10 character shards gives 150 ss currency, while 4 ship shards give 152 ss currency. This will make a difference over time, particularly with galactic war currency, where you can always spend the tokens on ship shards
As a side note, I would reccomend getting cassian’s u-wing to 7 stars ASAP, no matter what you are farming. It’s available in the cantina shop, and it’s the only ship available to purchase shards 5 at a time, so every purchase will give 190 shard shop currency instead of 152.
I was wondering this exact thing. Thanks
Thank you. Been playing for 5+ years, and never paid attention to that.
Glad I’m not the only one who uses currency on ships. I knew you got an extra 2 shards but didn’t realise that Cassian’s ship was 5 shards instead of 4. Makes me happier that I’ve been I buying it from the cantina shop anyway
Huh, I remembered 4 ship shards being worth more than 5 character shards but I didn’t know they were worth more than 10 character shards too.
SLKR is phenomenal. Great work, Jack.
As a general rule, I've been hoarding up Mk 7 Nubian Scanner and Mk 5 CEC Fusion Furnace salvage, mostly from the Guild Activity store. Both are unfarmable with energy and only come from raids, so every now and then its a bottleneck. Sometimes they show up at the bottom of the Squad Arena store too.
i only found out about fusion furnaces being unfarmable today. are theiy're any other gear pieces that are unfarmable?
Employees at CG: “we’re supposed to be going up not down”

I have a few tips:
I like to cap my energy this way: 3 refreshes (150 crystals, 360 energy) + whatever I have at the end of the day/first thing in the morning.
Yeah, even in other stores, ships are usually worth a little bit more shard shop currency.
4 ship shards=152
10 character shards=150
Not exactly the topic of the video, but here’s a bit of a quick relic tip: the second to last gear slot in guild token can be 5 blue mk7 roombas (I don’t remember its name) and it costs 150 tokens. Those 5 roombas can be turned into ~33 chromium transistors, which can be a major pain point for players more so than heatsinks or other higher relic materials
This is actually a very helpful tip, thanks a lot!
Holy shit I never knew that thank you so much
Mk 7 blastec is the name. its efficient way to get transistors, same with the BAW gear.
3:02 - Damn, I already do that
3:48- Damn, I already do that
5:30 - Damn, I already do that
13:24 - Wait what? Oh damn! I’m sitting on millions of this! Thanks !!
I can totally agree with the marathon method; I started seriously farming SEE las year in December, and got him unlocked a couple of weeks ago. Gear crunch hit me hard, especially with Kyros
Congrats on the unlock, though!
Great video!!
Haven’t watched in full yet but this advice goes beyond just the farming part and it helps that I’m f2p so I’ve been doing this for years:
Edit: Ahnald did cover a good bit of other things to pay attention to and
HOARD IT, TRUST ME
farm them to 5 stars or take them to 7?
@@tfossgh depends on the characters, i don't remember but just SAVE that currency
Decided to play again after breaking for a few years, glad to see you still making content
Ngl I kinda thought it would be another music video 🤣
Still happy as it’s an ahnald video
GLORY TO THE EMPIRE
Bronzium wiring gives me the most trouble of all the relic pieces
Piece of advice: in squad arena, at the bottom, there’s none low teir gear available. It’s not all useful, but occasionally there is some available that is rare
Edit: I see that he said it at the end, but I think he’s underselling the value of it. There are some annoying low gear pieces that show up a lot in that store
I look at that gear. I buy whatever I have less than 100. Even if it isn't useful you can always scrap it.
Tip : favorite the characters you are working on. When buying equipment, that favorite will show on the equipment to remind you what you need to buy.
Been playing for 2 years and the grind never gets easier
Don't use guild event for gear untill you have wampa Hoda gas and Malak 7 star. If you don't get them sooner you will regret it later. Hoard the get1 and put every bit of get2 into negotiator and then malevolence. You can buy gear when you have all the toons.
I also commented this, nice catch
If you aren’t on the path to getting those characters I don’t think you need to save them up.
@@darthplagueisthewise4560 if you are planning on playing the game long term at all you should save. Malak and gas especially are game changing characters.
I’m so bad on this, when I see attractive gear in there
Day one player, and I do ALL of these. Glad to know I’m maxing out. Nice vid.
Also in the squad arena store if you scroll down sometimes they have good gear
I've been playing since 2019. My first gear 13 was darth revan and I whaled like a fool. This video is a big help👍
Just the video I needed. Thanks GA.
Wait, what? Does the algorithm really make it harder to get gear for your bookmarked characters?
This should probably be flagged as very good new player advice, as that's what it is moreso than a gear farming guide (which is not to detract from the video in any way)
One point I would add is that the Mk3 Sienar Holo Projectors are fairly economical to buy for crystals.
For me i went after thrawn and palpatine then went after both Revans and now im almost ready for the DR part of the Malak event
Just for fun I started opening bronziums when this video dropped and I just pulled a full carbonti first time ever 😂😂😂
Sadly his motivation and overall fun has been drained by CGs mind games, and the only reason he plays is because of me
This guide will shine some "Bright Lights" on gear for people
ANOTHER GUIDE LETS GOOOO
What I would recommend for new players is focus on one journey guide hero per one in your range.
4:55 this exactly what i did just got most of the characters that show in the store to 7* so then after that it’s shard shop currency hoarding time bby!😁
1 thing I'm shocked that aren't adding in the qol changes in the future is a button to open all bronzium packs 😳
Wish I saw a stream like this when I first started, so now when I see new players I send them to watch swgoh streams
Thank you for the tips sir. I haven't gotten to get gear 13. Thank you sir. - Your Commodore
Galactic Challenges are also quite important to participate in because of 6 dot mod slicing mats, which can't be farmed in shipments. Character shards there are nice too, I never farmed Shaak Ti and I have her at 6 stars
You must have read my mind the Empire is great this is a video I've been waiting for
Dang, its great to be in the empire today! This is great, for I am a veteran player and am about to get my first GL SEE and this video still gave me sum tips I completely forgot about!
One thing you forgot in squad arena, there is very important gear at the bottom for G6-G11 for cheap currency.
A huge tip. The hyperdrive is really the only thing worth it money wise if you’re gonna play long term. Unless your pockets are really deep.
@@andresv.9365 I'm somehow constrained on stun guns still. And solid eyeballs are the bane of my existence, dozens of toons in line for those.
Thank you for the advice as always ❤
It’s better to wait the next day until it refreshes the character node naturally than to use crystals, it’s a lot more efficient that way
Now I’m doing that with the Inquisitors, reluctantly though.
You didn’t mention anything about assault battles. Very effective way to get gear zetas and relic materials!
I recommend using an auto clicker App for opening your bronzium packs. That way you can open all of them without needing to do something yourself.
This was more simple than I thought
unrelated, but a good way to win against gac opponents with much higher gp (or just in general) is to try get underdog banners on offence and place banner sniping teams on defence
Don’t forget about the galactic War shipments (green crystals) excellent on getting extra shards for shard store
This is where the fun begins :)
Fax
I agree
Thanks for the video. can u please make an updated video on how to unlock GAS since the BLT ship added and also the GAS itself has changed.
Great tips!
I couldn’t agree more with buying prestige materials from the squad arena store. I slacked on those at first thinking I was in great shape but lemme tell ya those capital ships can literally eat through 1,000’s of them like nothing.
Pick a squad and see it through. This is the way.
I was just wondering since I don’t see it in play much, what is the importance of farming the Emperor’s shuttle? Is it needed for another unit? I looked around and didn’t see anything. Great video Ahnald!!
Fleet be like: you know when they ask you if your fine
I completely neglected both revans while I was going for SEE, now I’m going for the Revan requirements.
Well, I use my fleet currency constantly for shard shop trade. Always keep 6 full zetas typically, then all out on shard shop
This is clutch Admiral!
@Ahnald, where did you leave the link to your discord server??? Tia
Is there an easy way to open up those bronzium packs? or do we still have to use the auoclicker
Bottom of the squad arena store sometimes has some gear worth getting for pretty cheap
I'm a pure F2P just writing so that people can see I'm going to unlock 4 GLs in less than a year, I've already received one and the second very close to unlock
Yo! May you do a relic farming guide?
I think the message is pretty clear but I'm going to ask for clarification here. I am framing JML and I know to get JKL first. I need to finish the relics and get my 6* falcon to 7*s. I need 2 BH ships to 7* to do it. I noticed though that if I spend 80 energy a day on another BH ship I am working towards Executor. If I'm not mistaken, your advise would be to only focus on the 2 ships and not 3 so that the extra energy could be used on my G12s and G13s?
thank you for the guide 🙂
I'll yap tomorrow, I'm still working out SLKR at 588 speed and if he can do phase 1 of CPIT 🤔 I'm sure mine can but hey, hope you enjoyed the vacation 👍
I'm around 4mill gp and honestly dont have a problem with carbantis, got over 1k now. the real problem for me is kyros both kinds need thousands of them constantly, most other gear you just buy in the shops but this feels like the only gear piece i farm
