I bought x3 FN Model 1930 and placed them in one squad. I can say it was very much worth it. The gun sights/ overall situational awareness alone makes it so much better than the tech tree counterparts. I don’t know how many times I lose someone or just never saw them with the tech tree LMGs because of the horrible sights. Just put it this way. I was held up in a 2 story house defending with ammo boxes and went on a 75kill streak. I highly recommend it.
I've watched this video like 10-12 times in the past few weeks since I started back in like right before the (failed) steam release and I have bought 2× T20, 2× Cönders 2×FN1930(1 for Japan and 1 for Germany) 1 of everything else in Germany besides the mkb w and wz.39 mors, 1× SIG1930 (japan), 1× Farquhar, 1×WAR, 1×BSA Thompson, 1× suppressed Grease gun, 2× svt BuBnov and 1 of every gun in the Soviet BP besides the bezruchko smg
Beretta 1918/30, like all the other pistol caliber carbines, are pretty good. ALmost essential to get is you don't want o use Kar98k. The Beretta also has a melee speed buff.
I bought the Farquar-Hill x4, love this gun so much, also have the marine raiders and have used them extensively with my tier 2 lineup, all my assaulters have max horizontal and vertical recoil reduction, jump height, med usage speed, 200% healing from medpack, max breath holding time to get the most out of the small 20 round mag by increasing hit potential and the rest of the points went into misc improvements (fire damage perk), these guys absolutely turn the tide of the battle, just gotta tap fire the gun
Maybe you don’t know but there was an event where the main reward was a us pacific paratrooper squad, their main weapon is the M1A1 carabine they sit in br 2 I have them and they are preaty fun to use my point is that that gun is almost the same as the M1E5 Garand the one you really wanted to buy
If you run 40% recoil on most of these guns they become amazing, I do it with the LS26,coenders,T20e1, high recoil weapons, and they become really manageable, you should definitely try it.
Re soviet gold orders, theyre in a weird place, LAD is solid but these days AS-44 punch well at their level. Gorov with ammo pack and recoil perk does outperform the AVT-40, rof/damage etc, I would reccomend those if your looking to boost rifleman performance.
Pretty much whatever squad perk you like the most is what you should enlist. For instance, Engineer II has more stamina, which is better than what Engineer I gets. Assaulter III has medpack usage related squad perk, which I like. Also, the higher the tier of soldier, the more expensive they are, but the perks they get are rather mediocre at best. Snipers probably have the most important ones depending on how you want to play them.

I wanted to buy Browning wz. 28 squad but decided to buy 3 FNs for 30% of the price. It was definitely worth it.

yeah i remember this event, missed it though, the gun looks almost identical.
