Awesome reaction, thank you! I loved this episode, both the emotionality and the political commentary. I totally agree that the acting was wonderful. I would put money on the use of the Skye Boat Song being a deliberate Easter egg nod to Outlander. There's no way the writers of Who don't know that Outlander has its roots in the Classic era of their own show, and I'm sure they get a kick out of it, lol. Though regardless, it's a nice fit with 15 being Scottish, too; it's one of those songs lots of people learn in primary school up here. I've always liked how melancholy it is, as the Doctor says.
It's a beautiful, beautiful song and might have been a nod to Outlander & Ncuti being Scottish.. It made me so happy hearing it :) The whole episode was so so good.
Wikipedia: "The Skye Boat Song" is a late 19th-century Scottish song adaptation of a Gaelic song composed c.1782 by William Ross, entitled Cuachag nan Craobh ("Cuckoo of the Tree").[1] In the original song, the composer laments to a cuckoo that his unrequited love, Lady Marion Ross, is rejecting him. The 19th century English lyrics instead evoked the journey of Prince Charles Edward Stuart ("Bonnie Prince Charlie") from Benbecula to the Isle of Skye as he evaded capture by government soldiers after his defeat at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.
This was more like it . Just watched on BBC 1 - after the last two I'm not bothering with messing with technology . Tense , well acted and a good story with a moral message . There's definitely something about Ruby and maybe hope for the Doctor yet .
What a tense and emotional episode.

My favourite episode of the season so far. It felt much more like a traditional DW episode.

Best episode since Heaven Sent/Hell Bent.
Also best response to Moffat. "Moffat is back, oh dear.."
Love these two!
I adore them both already! The episode was sooo good!
Don't know about HS/HB though, pretty sure S10 had some banger episodes too
Really good to see Varada Sethu make her debut in this episode playing Mundy.
Oh, you didn’t notice?
Sometimes Doctor Who has these moments…
I didn't realise until after.
@@Shelma32Reactions there’s an interview on Unleashed
@@Jozman2005 I'll definitely have to give that a watch! The last ones were really good.
