Mario Party 3 has always been my personal favorite in the entire series. It was my first Mario Party game and I absolutely love the mini-games and the boards. The Story Mode was also a really nice touch too along with the Duel Maps
"70 all new minigames" means so much more to me as an adult when I found out like half of Mario Party 2's minigames were rehashed from the first one. I didn't play Mario Party 1 growing up.
That "unused jingle" HAS to be some kind of test sound for the sound system or something- you can find it normally in Bomberman 64: The Second Attack in its Sound Test...in most of the entries, actually, as if it's a sound that plays if there's no valid entry. The game's also made by Hudson. Does that mean Mario Party copies data from the Bomberman 64 games, or is it the other way around...?

I booted rom of Mario Party 3 last night and both Daisy and Waluigi were locked behind that question mark icon. It was perplexing, as I couldn't remember if it had always been like that.
I had a theory that the one jingle that keeps coming back could possibly be a little thing that would’ve played during the part where the Production Logos are shown?

Tetrabit, in "mario party 2 lost bits," you said that the no game mode in that game would just keep going. So, why do say that in mario party 3, unlike the other 2 the mode just keeps going? By the way, thanks for finally making this video. I have been waiting for almost an entire year for this. I do hope you learned from the "crash bandicoot lost bits" vid that lemons are yellow and limes are green, not the other way around.

3:11 incorrect. This actually IS used in the game's Story mode, but the ? Graphic us not as you only start story mode out with the original 6 from the prior entries, and the two new characters must be unlocked. Their portraits just don't show up until you unlock them in story mode. These ? portraits were likely scrapped due to Waluigi & Daisy being unlocked by default in Party Mode & Nintendo Probably didn't want players to think that there were characters you could only unlock via story mode.
Waluigi and Daisy are locked in Story mode until it's first cleared with another character. The box and debug menu are correct in that they can be unlocked in that regard. Only thing unused from the is the '?' icon.
