A couple others that aren't well known:
fire - shows Pokémon that are super-effective against Fire types (Meaning they have at least one move that's super-effective. AFAIK, there's no way to specify Fast and/or Charged
Attacks.)
nice one! thank you for sharing
I experimented a bit, and you can search for fast moves that are super-effective against something. For instance, >@1water uses super=effective fast moves, >@3water. Of course, this is not possible for the < symbol, only the >. Thanks for sharing that! That will be helpful in quickly finding raid counters with multiple move types I'm looking for!
@@DaveSzumlanski Unless I'm doing it wrong that doesn't seem to work. The > is ignored; it just searches for moves of the specified type (not moves that are super-effective against that type).
@@simonbrads Man, you're right. I swear it worked the other day, but now I'm doubting myself. It definitely doesn't work today. Sorry about that. :(
We can see family of Pokémon by selecting show evolutionary line option too 🎉
it says secret, not obvious 🤣
This comes in handy on the trade screen. trade screen doesn't show the option to select the family line
But the thing with that is that if you, for example, are trying to use multiple TM’s to very quickly switch over your 5 Mamoswine’s moves from Mud-Slap to Powder Snow, using the “Show Evolutionary Line” button has always wiped the entire storage search clean/blank so that no Pokemon show up in your storage, while searching “+Mamoswine & @Mud-Slap” would show all those in your storage fine. Not the greatest example in the world, but there are a few other instances where using the + is very advantageous to checking the “show evolutionary line” option because of the way that button yields no results.
Genuinely, one of the best creators for PoGo Community. Super informative video, sooo helpful. Thanks Brandon.
how in the world does this guy make these videos in one take, his brain is truly next level.
Honestly one of my favorite videos.
Could you make a video on your naming system? I’m just curious how you organize.
I have been waiting for something like this, thank you brandon
That was cool! I saw you type "favourite" whereas I use "favorite." That's cool that they allow both spellings!
acctually helpful
Thank you so much for this. I’ve wanted this info years! 😅😊
thank you for making the video i wanted!
40:39 fun fact: for most of the places on earth, at the complete opposite side of them are most likely ocean. There are very few places that has something on the opposite side as well other than the depths of ocean.
This was crazy helpful, Brandon! Thank you!
I needed this !! Thank you !!! ❤
This crashcourse PQL (pokemon query language 😄) was extremely usefull.
This was a banger! Thanks for the great content
Nice job of expanding on the pogocentral search cheat sheet.
Very helpful. Thank you.
Nice!!! Should have finished it with saving those searches to favorite. Long hold on previous search adds to favorites. You can then rename. Long hold from the favorite.
Excellent Vid bro!
Superb very useful 👍
Thank you from an almost level 43 in 13 months. Ill look at my distance caught critters. Have been wondering how to do that for my trading.
I appreciate what you are doing for us all.
Peace!
nice vid!
Is there a way to search for Pokémon that cost no energy to mega?
@BrandonTan91 im not sure if you have covered this or not, but do you know the significance (if any) for the difference in noises when appraising? Some will have a more unique ding thats different from others, but if you slide the opposite way it will make that unique sound on a different Pokémon. Also, I appreciate how indepth your videos are. Thank you!
Excellent video, thank you so much for this trove of useful information!
But Brandon, I believe there is a way you can SAVE EVEN MORE TIME! I have not used Pokémon in English in a while, but I believe that "favorite", without the "u", works just as fine as "favourite". You can probably catch a couple more Pokémon each day now ;-)
wow deep knowledge
Surely the + isn't necessary, just check the 'show evolutionary line' box immediately under the search bar?
It's very useful but i didn't understand how do you put recherche in " favorite" to acces them faster ?
35:47 -you could've typed "!rocket" 🤓-
Edit: oh, they're actually not the same! That's interesting!
For some reason the evolvenew&!megaevolve is still showing me the Pokémon I’ve already mega evolved one of the same family of Pokémon. It’s really irritating.
Also, If I may, for people to understand better the age and distance ranges, you should not call the "-" character a "minus", but either a "dash" or an "hyphen", it would be less confusing.
Anyone else notice that he's getting items while showing us search terms? Ok, he might have a auto spinner, and be near by gyms, but something is up?
I have pokemon go plus + and I live near a stop it catches it all the time

Hi uncle brandon stiil remember me😊
I’am Aldrich that play pokemon go to in indonesia malang😊😊😊
If I type 0@ it automatically types 0attack&0defense&0hp
I put it in my text replacement on iOS :p
Very handy if I want to check 0%’s while grinding
I have just favorited that search string and added &age0-1. Also favorited 4*&age0-1 So when I open my search strings I can immediately see if there are recent hundos or nundos in my storage at the same time because you can see amount of pokemon for each search string. Saves some time.
So has anybody just made a list yet?
Really early
Hi
2:48 or just click the thing under search that says show evolutionary line
Yes but the entire point of the video is search terms.
@@Fredoindallas fair enough but its one thats not really needed as the other option is easier and will stay selected even when you type in a different pokemon. i waited to see if he would mention how you could also just select that option but he never did.
