I began crying when I heard "I walked through the door with you." Like, I've been single for the past two years, moved on, and happy with my life at present but All Too Well TV opens up your old wounds, then heals them with magic and nostalgia as you approach the very end.

She compared it to sharing the flame of a candle with multiple other candles and how it never diminishes the flame. Taylor's original was perfect. Her new version is perfect. Now I know how. I loved the transition of the tree. It was green and lively first, then it gradually faded and became grey without any leaves. That represents this song so wonderfully
The 10 minute version is an absolute masterpiece, but I have to admit I also listen to the 5 minute version just as much. It makes me feel so nostalgic, like I’ve been transported back to 2012
No, but sometimes 5 minutes version hits hard it gives me goosebumps every part the way she sings it and the instruments is so nostalgic even though 10 minutes version is my all time favorite both are masterpiece💜💜💜

this is still the best song of all time, the lyrics, the instrumentals, the story and the progression of the song through time...it has become a true masterpiece that lives in all our hearts thank you Taylor so so muchhhh
I know she doesn't read these comments, but Taylor, if you ever do... I lived this song on and off for 4 long years...and the line "you kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath" has to be the most powerful line I've ever felt in any song. I shouldn't, but even years after, I have moments where I just miss him. You said in an interview once that we all have that one person that we wish would just pop up and sweep us away....
Taylor is truly a genius. How she made this version so much different from the original version without changing the lyrics is a mystery. The original one is a naive, innocent Taylor. Telling us she was hurt so bad. But this version is a story teller Taylor. Smarter, stronger, happy and content 😭
The only reason I'm sad is that I couldn't enjoy the re-released albums and new album is that the person (my older sister) who introduced Taylor's music to me passed away of cancer just last year.
I loveee the 10 minute version, but this version with the classic guitar and instrumentation from the original still hits different ughhh I remember crying to this song during the breakups I went through.
Loved this Taylor's version. While the lyrics is still telling a sad story, the way she sang it and the boost in music make it sound like remembering everything all too well but without the pain anymore.
it's magical how we are all feeling the SAME feels now listening to her 'version' and also how we remembered the same feelings from the past, she really did share herself to us all these years with her songs T.T
I recently started listening to Taylor Swift because I read somewhere that they were studying her lyrics at some college. I never gave her a chance but now after buying 6 of her albums she is one of the great lyricist of our time
TAYLOR is not just an Idol. She's a Girl a dreams, dedication, intelligent, SO Much passion. She inspire Many. TAYLOR is an Icon and a Queen!!. I'm Beyond proud of her...

The way the tree starts shedding its leaves when she starts singing “and you call me up again to break me like a promise” IS AS HEARTBREAKING AS THE SONG
I hate seeing some people feeling guilty for finding the original version better. No one should feel guilty about liking a work of art. Are we gonna pretend her old songs never existed? I'm never gonna do that.
Being a new edition to the fandom i feel so special coz like i am lucky enough to experience all the excitement for the album release and all. I get a chance again. Btw this is my first time listening to RED and I WAITED FOR THE TAYLOR'S VERSION.

"So casually cruel in the name of being honest" Totally relatable. To many of us young women have been here with men, especially older men who promise us forever but discard us once the fantasy is over.

@@alicia_5654 can confirm, I'm only 6 months into the swiftie world and listening to her music (especially forever winter- helped me with my suidical thoughts) has saved me
I always wonder how she will sing this with the fact that she's in a healthy relationship. ❣️
We can always remember haha I'm in a happy long relationship but I can go back to the time someone broke my heart and I used to listen to this
@@rosslamadrid2740 I guess we never really moved on, it always hurt like it's the first time.
to all those saying it sounds more nostalgic than sad now, i think it might also be a psychological effect for us. we know now she's happy and moved on and in a healthy relationship. so that knowledge is maybe also making us feel it's nostalgic rather than sad
This song sounds even more painful and sad for me so I guess it's different for everyone😭
@@hmmm4427 yess exactly, i dont think it sounds any less sad either. her voice has just matured a great deal
literally had goosebumps on the first line. i love you, taylor!!!! 🥺🧣
Goosebumps seriously ??? it just an average song played over single cord. You must have very low taste in music!!!

this is still the best song of all time, the lyrics, the instrumentals, the story and the progression of the song through time...it has become a true masterpiece that lives in all our hearts thank you Taylor so so muchhhh
I am just crying. Taylor's singing reflecting all her emotions and her pain got straight into my heart.
When Spotify crashes I can count on blondie for simultaneous release on multiple platforms! BRB about to cry for 5mins
Omfg my Spotify crashed and I literally BURSTED into a tears
lol same im currently going on a rampage
@@Lucyyrice1 SAME
@@Lucyyrice1 same i was like what the heck am i supposed to do, but taylor’s here, saving us, again
May you Meet Taylor Swift very soon!
In a way, the song to us is like the scarf in the song. We hold onto this, even as we move on and grow, because we remember it all too well.
Taylor is truly a genius. How she made this version so much different from the original version without changing the lyrics is a mystery. The original one is a naive, innocent Taylor. Telling us she was hurt so bad. But this version is a story teller Taylor. Smarter, stronger, happy and content 😭
How is not changing the lyrics a mystery?! She just… didn’t change any of the words…
@@rainbowsandlove They said it's a mystery how she made this version so much different when she didn't change the lyrics.
Thank Liz Rose for that. Taylor needed her to make the song complete a narrative in around 5 minutes of runtime.
We will be crying the whole month of November and we will go back to December. Then we will be cleaning up bottles on New Year's Day.
😭😭😭😭
Sad thing is November is my birthday 😂 imma cry on mah birthday AHAHAHHA
@@violetedits7994 Early happy birthday!
so accurate
back to december be like:👀👀
WHY ISNT ANYONE POINTING OUT THE WAY “OKAY” GLITCHES WHEN SHE SINGS THE LINE “AND I MIGHT BE OKAY BUT IM NOT FINE AT ALL” AM I THE ONLY ONE??
I thought it was lagging smh
And on "loved you so" as well... I can't unhear it now 😢
I honestly feel like, we as a generation are lucky to be alive at the same time as her, to enjoy her music. She is iconic 😍
The only reason I'm sad is that I couldn't enjoy the re-released albums and new album is that the person (my older sister) who introduced Taylor's music to me passed away of cancer just last year.
I’m currently searching for All Too Well’s 10 minute version 🥰
Same where's the ten minute versionnn
It's uploaded in order 😅
Apparently she curses in it 😱😱😱 im so excited!!!
It’s already available in apple music
I loveee the 10 minute version, but this version with the classic guitar and instrumentation from the original still hits different ughhh I remember crying to this song during the breakups I went through.
YOU CAN HEAR SO MUCH EMOTION IN HER VOICE EVEN AFTER NINE YEARS IM GONNA CRY
of all songs I choose this to start with 😭❤️❤️
everytime I listen to this, I cried, thinking back to our memories😣
Loved this Taylor's version. While the lyrics is still telling a sad story, the way she sang it and the boost in music make it sound like remembering everything all too well but without the pain anymore.
agreeeeeee!! the day that taytay release this song thats what i feel ' no more pain just the memories na lng. 🤗🥰 strong taytay ❤️❤️❤️
I know this song all to well😭
YOU ARE A GODDESS OF MUSIC !, THE MELODY, THE RHYTHM, THE LYRICS, EXPRESSION IS SO PEACEFUL THE WAY OF YOUR SYMPHONY
it's magical how we are all feeling the SAME feels now listening to her 'version' and also how we remembered the same feelings from the past, she really did share herself to us all these years with her songs T.T
I recently started listening to Taylor Swift because I read somewhere that they were studying her lyrics at some college. I never gave her a chance but now after buying 6 of her albums she is one of the great lyricist of our time
i’m crying, tears, tears in my eyes. i am single and extremely happy but TAYLOR THIS……. this is something else
TAYLOR is not just an Idol. She's a Girl a dreams, dedication, intelligent, SO Much passion. She inspire Many. TAYLOR is an Icon and a Queen!!. I'm Beyond proud of her...
Bruh she isn't even an idol you are talking about. If you want to spam this everywhere, at least spam it under videos which make it make sense
Taylor is a human being not an idol or goddess , we all have the same potential as Taylor. It’s just whether you choose to move and change the continuity of life.
I know she's happy now, but my heart still breaks for little Taylor who had to go through all of this

Same :(
But all of this shaped her and look at her now! A legend
Hope she busts out the 10 min emo piano version at the Grammys!!
it definitely made her become the person she was meant to be

My fav song rn
The way the tree starts shedding its leaves when she starts singing “and you call me up again to break me like a promise” IS AS HEARTBREAKING AS THE SONG
My fave part is "And you call me up again just to break me like a promise". Feels like I've been into romantic relationship.
GENTE DE LATAM ACTIVENSE VAMOS A ESCUCHAR RED TODA LA MADRUGADA, MAÑANA, TARDE Y NOCHE ❤️💖 Taylor merece eso y más 🥺✨🤩

Btw this is my first time listening to RED and I WAITED FOR THE TAYLOR'S VERSION.
me tooo except i’ve heard some songs like this and the singles :D
You should definitely listen to the 2012 verison of this song, for me it hits different because the breakup is still fresh on Taylor's side.
Exactly ...how lucky we are...
@@aminah.3320 I totally agree. I can feel the sadness in the old version even though I never had a bf lmao but I feel happy listening to TV

this song is so heartwarming, but heartbreaking at the same time.. 2nd song to listen here we go!!
Heard this in the fall guy. Stopped the movie to find it and hear it in it's entirety.
"So casually cruel in the name of being honest" Totally relatable. To many of us young women have been here with men, especially older men who promise us forever but discard us once the fantasy is over.
You put what I was thinking into words. I expect every woman on earth has been made to feel like that by a man.
Yes 😢
Their initial intentions are usually cruel and I think sometimes they leave because their feelings become real and it scares them.
🥲💔
Because women don’t do the same thing…. That’s life and love, it happens
For anyone who wants to play this on guitar, here's how :)
- Standard Tuning - No Capo -
- Chords & Strum Pattern Repeated Through Entire Song -
C, G, Am, F
For each chord, strum: Down (x8)
Hope this helps out! If you get stuck or need a little extra help, I posted a beginner video lesson for this on my channel :)
I don't even play guitar, but on behalf of my neighbor and friends who do, thank you for posting the chords & strumming. :) BTW, T Swift has come a long way, I love this song. Have a blessed day brother.
So generous💛
And there’s that little part after verse that builds into the chorus where it goes F G Am all of a sudden lol.

It will always be a masterpiece. And Grammy's missed that.
This song brings me back to Taylor's 2009. Sitting alone at college stairs listening to her songs via mini iPod. Really missed those days. Such a flashback. Kudos
