I put in my two-weeks because I got a local job. The last week they gave me a load that would have had me out longer than a week. I wouldn't have been able to start my local job on-time. I refused the load, cleaned out my truck, shook everyone's hand and said goodbye at the Jurupa Valley terminal. I made some good friends there. My new job called me ( I'm still at the job I left swift for) and said I was listed as being terminated. I was upset but not shocked. Your driver leader is a person and has an ego just like anyone. swift is a great starter company but not a place you wanna retire. You wanna do enough to get you something local. OTR is a waste of life as you only get one. Don't spend that time away from family, not cultivating relationships, living at truck stops that smell like urine. All those upper swifty people, there at home enjoying being around their loved ones and being there for them in case they need something. Not you, you gotta get a load home while one of your loved one's is in the hospital or has passed away. Get in and get out. Be average because being average isn't being a bad worker, it's getting the job done. Stay safe out there.

You need to go and confront the lying motherf*cker who listed you as being terminated.

BECARFULL FOR NEW DRIVERS The school was Ok, the mentor was good, but after the graduation, they promise for inexperience driver at least 1000 per week, but if they complete 5 days of work and gets what, the dispatchers are sure the drivers get stock with no trailer, wrong directions, no answer the phone, anyway they do everything for doesn't give you the 5 days driving and the inexperience
drivers get paid no more than 400 a week which means you have to sleep in the truck 7 days a week with not driving for 2 o 3 days with no paid, no decent conditions for less than 400. is been 2 weeks and it's been the same situation week after week. That's the way Swift transportation makes money?

Hi Cesar! In order to drive commercially in the United States, you need to hold a US-issued drivers license for at least 12 consecutive months to qualify to obtain a CDL A. Unfortunately, we do not offer relocation assistance at this time.

I just watched a video of a driver passing on the left and ran a bunch of cars off the road. Swift needs to vet it’s drivers because that’s nuts. What an awful company

Everyone must take individual responsibility for their own actions....when you screw up in life or in your own personal car or truck do you blame anyone other than yourself.....come on get real. When you know the numbers now.....and ignore that chatter from yesteryear you won't make stupid comments like you just did here. Swift is much more than your opinion and random thoughts.
