- My mate Andy let me record this during a classical recording session at the University of Surrey (cheers for doing the engineering, mixing and video editing too! :D). I'm aware that this is somewhat sloppier than the other one but I did this in only two takes as opposed to seven!

Yep, you can really the Nobuo Uematsu influence in this track (Misha has stated that he is a massive influence on his compositions in the past).

Gosh, this song is so... comforting. Reminds me of when everything was perfect and peaceful every day, and I didn't have a worry in the world.
This is beautiful. I knew Misha's chord progressions were fantastic, but hearing them on a piano just confirms it. Jazz metal I would call this and its great.
And the fact that it is Periphery just makes it that much more beautiful.

Wow, hearing this on piano makes it sound like something Bartok or Barber would have written, especially with all the time signature changes and the percussive and dense polychords in the middle. Cool stuff.

This is immensely beautiful. Periphery should get a lot of props for the musical complexity they put in, but I don't know that I fully appreciated it until I heard it on piano.

That was truly astonishing. So many nuances of this piece are glorified through your rendition. It really is amazing how beautiful and emotive metal can become when heard through the voices of instruments other than the guitar. Respect where respect is due. Great job mate!!!
So strange that I never even noticed the complex harmony of this songs verse, but man, this is just brilliant playing. Herbie Hancock would be proud ;)
Not gonna lie, parts were so beautiful that I teared up a bit.
Some people may refer to it as sloppy... I honestly think that the feeling of a performance is wayyyy more important than the timing. And even when it is ever so slightly "off tempo" or "sloppy" or whatever, it just seems to give the piece a bit of a more jazzy feel. That's just what I get from it. In my eyes, this is 100% perfect music!! :) :)
