  • In this video, I demonstrate how to deploy an NTP server and attach host machines as NTP clients to poll time from the server.
    On the NTP Server GPO:
To do this, create a new GPO and assign it to the OU with computers. In the GPO Editor go to the following section Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Windows Time Service - Time Providers and enable the policy Enable Windows NTP Server.
    On the NTP Client GPO:
To do this, create a new GPO and assign it to the OU with computers. In the GPO Editor go to the following section Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Windows Time Service - Time Providers and enable the policy Configure Windows NTP Client.
Also Enable Windows NTP Client in the Client GPO policy you create
Below are the flags you can set to
    0x01 SpecialInterval
    0x02 UseAsFallbackOnly
    0x04 SymmatricActive
    0x08 Client

just put flag 0x9 back which you changed to 0x8, the 0x1 extra value allows you to use special poll interval

Is Both NTP Server GPO and NTP Client GPO are assign it to the OU with computers or not? Kindly for advice. In my case I have 3 DC and I want to make one to Connect to external NTP server.

If that is the case, I think you could link that one GPO to the OU where your 2 DC's live and just leave it defaulted to point to your primary DC. Just need to create policy for your main DC to point to the external NTP server you wanted.
