This was a lot of fun and yes... sooo many options in moving forward. Ellie definitely loved the camera... the hardest part was her insistence on having the camera 'on' at all times... There was a LOT of editing required!!
LOL... she started out not wanting to be on the video and then... just took over! They've recently moved further away so these PA day moments are likely over... it all moves so quickly doesn't it?
Thanks Debbie - I agree, Ellie was the best part of the craft - and definitely not camera shy! Hope you're enjoying the holidays and getting to spend time with the Grandkids... its a magical time with them!
I think so too! And... as it turns out... a total ham!! She went from not wanting to be on camera to sitting beside me to taking over. You can't believe how much I had to edit out because she wouldn't stop talking and insisted on the camera being turned on!!!
I just bet you are Superwoman, and Fairy godmother, and the smartest Grandma in the whole world! Ellie is blessed to have you in her life. I'm very impressed with not only her dexterity and control of those stamps, but her desire to listen and then follow your directions/teaching. She's a pretty smart cookie but it's too bad she's so shy!😉😉 lol. Thank you for this tutirial, I love it. The best thing about these, besides being so easy an almost 6-year old can do it, is how simple or elegant you can make them.
Sharon... I think Ellie will be running the shop by the time she's 12! I've had a number of customers fall in love with these trees and make them - both dressier and more simple than mine and have them sell very well at craft bazaars for them... which is so exciting!
I bet by then she will give you a run for your money! Hey, I I followed your link to Amazon for those keys but they are out of stock and don't know if or when they will get anymore. I found more that are very similar but will you get your affiliate compensation on them as well?
Ellie is a natural. She's paying close attention to what grandma is doing. Ellie's instructions reinforce yours. What a wonderful little girl. The trees are charming. The drop cloth is so versatile. I think, "If Ellie can make these, so can I."
I have to say... she really impressed me. I didn't realize how closely she was paying attention until she started giving instructions!!! Good thing she's back in school or I'd be out of a job!!
Loved watching you and your granddaughter, I too have a 6 year old who loves crafting and when the video comes on. I think sometimes she boost my numbers. I make my trees from dropcloth and fabric also. This year I'm going to use the grain sack stencil on my dropcloth and try and make some candy canes.
Tracy... those will be lovely! There are so many options! Ellie loves crafting and especially loves seeing herself on camera so it's a win:win. She's a little less fond of helping me in the shop with the 'other' things that need to be done but then... they are my least favourite tasks too!!!
Thank you for your video. So creative and inspiring. I really liked seeing the stamping moment with your grand daughter. What a great activity to do with the family.
Lady, this was the happiest thing I’ve watched all day. I was washing dishes, and got sucked in and almost dumbfounded watching You and Miss Ellie! 😂 Your trees are a great idea, and Sweet Ellie was a prima! I always love your ideas! Thank you for sharing and giving such amazing inspiration! ☮️💗
The longest spindle or branch I used was about 12" tall. They don't sit in the entire length of the tree so the tallest tree was about 4" taller than that (with base height added in)
I know it's a long shot since this video is over 2 years old. Hi there. New to channel; this is the 2nd video I am watching. I like your saw. What brand is it?
hey there!!! Welcome! I had to watch the beginning of the video to see which saw you meant! I still have this one, but it is quite old... given to me used. That said though, it is a Black & Decker Power Miter Saw
@@QueenBeeCreations Thank you so much for replying so quickly. I'm very interested in getting one for my wood crafts. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Kelley... the speed of the response depends upon when I see the comments but I do check a couple of times a day so that you're no left waiting too long! I like to respond to everyone... I figure if you are watching what I do and have the courtesy to reach out to me then you deserve a response... even if sometimes it is only to say that i don't have a clue!! Happy New Year to you too!
What a great craft. The sky’s the limit. So nice you let Ellie make her own trees. She’s such a star in front of the camera.
This was a lot of fun and yes... sooo many options in moving forward. Ellie definitely loved the camera... the hardest part was her insistence on having the camera 'on' at all times... There was a LOT of editing required!!
I love how you and your granddaughter work side by side.
LOL... she started out not wanting to be on the video and then... just took over! They've recently moved further away so these PA day moments are likely over... it all moves so quickly doesn't it?
What a cute little granddaughter.
She is indeed! Don't know where the red hair comes from but I love it!
Just seeing this is 2024, thanks for great ideas for this season!!
That's the beauty of UA-cam... the ideas are there for you to find... regardless of when they were posted. Glad you found this one... I love them!!
Love the trees, but your little assistant is the best. My youngest Grand is 9...she's the light of my life. Your Granddaughter is a natural.
Thanks Debbie - I agree, Ellie was the best part of the craft - and definitely not camera shy! Hope you're enjoying the holidays and getting to spend time with the Grandkids... its a magical time with them!
@@QueenBeeCreations I've spent lots of time with the Grands. I am Blessed. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
What an adorable helper you have. 😁

Great trees, Ellie is the cutest helper😊
She started out shy and then was ready to take over! Found out she really loves the camera!

Ellie is so precious. Merry Christmas.
She is definitely older than her years with a very sharp and quick little sense of humour!

The possibilities are endless. Thank you for the inspiration!
You are so welcome!
Loved watching this! This little girl is a natural! 🌻
Thank you!... and yes... Ellie naturally just started looking and speaking to the camera! Definitely a natural!!
Thank you for your video. So creative and inspiring. I really liked seeing the stamping moment with your grand daughter. What a great activity to do with the family.
She loved this... though I think we discovered she loves the camera even more!
So cute. Your granddaughter is precious!!!
She was pretty thrilled by the video, for sure!

Candace... how sweet you are! Ellie will be delighted to hear and I am glad for anything that helped with the dishwashing!!!

Such a cute helper!! Love the trees
She went from just wanting to listen to wanting to take over the whole thing!!! She is a cutie though!
I love these trees!! Going to try this myself. Ellie is adorable!! ❤️
Thank you Kris... good luck with them... they are as easy as they seem and so cute... as is Ellie!
Great Christmas 🎄
Thanks Nicki, I appreciate your tuning in!
Hello, what size are your fabric trees approximately? And how tall might the longest spindle be? Thank you!
The longest spindle or branch I used was about 12" tall. They don't sit in the entire length of the tree so the tallest tree was about 4" taller than that (with base height added in)
Shes so adorable❣️❣️💯😇😍🥰😘
Thank you... I think so too but... shhh... I may be a little partial!
Very cute
thanks Christine... I loved these when I made them and... even better... they all sold!
