Hi Rory, great question. Water typically drains the same as if there's no trampoline there. We recommend putting down a permeable weed barrier and gravel so it doesn't turn into mud. In some instances you can install a soak away pit at the center or a sump pump.
These are outdoor trampolines so they have UV protected material and rust protection coatings. We sell a weather cover for winter but other than that they're meant to be outdoors and can withstand the harsh conditions.
@@trampolines Does the hole depth need to then account for the extra inches of gravel? What then is the final recommended hole depth? Also, How do the bowl walls remain retained? None of the install videos i could find mentioned what to do there
@@jamesnixon8554 Yes if you add 2-3" of gravel dig your hole 2-3" deeper in the center. We recommend a landscaper fabric or weed barrier to line the sides of the hole.
building my in-ground trampoline soon, this was helpful. thank you!
Awesome! Send us some pictures of it if you don't mind!
Just curious about the water drainage of the pit, will the pit fill up with water with heavy rain?

Great, thanks for your reply 👍
What happens when it rains 🌧 🤔
Does anyone know what the surround plastic is called? ive tried everything obvious but cannot find anything in the UK
How long does the material last with lots of rain, snow, and sun? Do I cover in the winter or when not using?

@@jtisaks8569 Im not sure I totally follow. There's a hole in the grass for the trampoline but how does the rain make holes?
How does the air escape?
Great question! The trampoline utilizes a vented jump mat that allows for 70% more airflow than a regular trampoline jump mat.
Put gravel underneath to avoid mud
Great suggestion! We recommend weed barrier and a few inches of gravel at the bottom.
