A clip from episode 317 of My Brother, My Brother, and Me. This audio comes from the podcast My Brother, My Brother, and Me and belongs to the McElroy brothers.
This was the first like.... modern era oh shit sorry MODREN era mbmbam episode I ever listened to (I started from the beginning first) and it really sealed my fate as a diehard lifelong McElroy stan. Justin said “fast car shouldn’t be in the same ZIP CODE as jalepeño slammers” and I was done for
I recall Justin mentioning that his baby was in NICU (which can be pretty scary), so I'm really glad that he has his priorities in order and has pegged THIS as the worst day of his life.
Also when visiting the NICU I'm pretty sure that was the time he got trapped in the elevator. Not saying that's as bad as your baby being deathly ill but it's sure a cherry on the Sunday.
I've been to this joint for two birthdays cuz I live near myrtle, the place honestly slaps. When the giant margarita comes down from the ceiling it's like god has entered your soul and cleared you of all burdens.
@@d1sasteroid they don't really talk about it because the accent that Justin did during that bit sounded racist and even though they didn't mean it that way, they don't really want people like. glorifying it I guess?
Damn when Justin said he had to walk by the closed down MagiQuest I felt that. That MagiQuest at the Broadway and the Beach was my whole damn family vacation cHILDHOOD
I live in Myrtle Beach, and I can confirm it is always this miserable. And he really missed out on that Magic Shop. It’s the best non-food establishment at Broadway at the Beach
@@nananderson7259 nah nah my dude, it's all about where you live here. the pan handle? occasional snow. el Paso? desert death. Houston? well, even if I'm not in the water I'm wet.
@@lilbitlaur I've lived all over Texas (and currently live East of Houston) and can say with certainty, living in a humid bog 80% of the year is pretty tiring. I miss central Texas where I can take a shower, dry off and STAY dry.
I made my mom listen to this so she would understand a reference I made. She isn't into MBMBaM or TAZ or anything but she laughed out loud at the bit about the balloon guy.
This sounds like Shrimp Hell Now
SHRIMP. HELL. NOW!!
Now I need to buy another t-shirt. Thank you, you sloganeering commentator.
😂😂😂
CRAB. HELL. IMMEDIATELY.
Please @bigjoshy3531 we can’t keep doing this.
“It was the worst day of my life, but the desserts were okay”
Greatest sentence I’ve heard all week
pinkgoat I was waiting for the moment of silence while the other two process and then bust out laughing, but no such luck
man shrimpin' really ain't easy huh

“Was it a glass shark?” Glass shark looooove the fat kid
Glass Shark come out dat dark water! He come for you, fat kid!
@@thomaslight3457 Dat deep watah, dat DARK watah, fat kid NO GO
I recall Justin mentioning that his baby was in NICU (which can be pretty scary), so I'm really glad that he has his priorities in order and has pegged THIS as the worst day of his life.
Well you also have to take into account that his baby was dehydrated that day as well and had turned into a husk
Also when visiting the NICU I'm pretty sure that was the time he got trapped in the elevator. Not saying that's as bad as your baby being deathly ill but it's sure a cherry on the Sunday.
Lauren York chuck lived, the margaritaville experience did not! There's no recovering from this!
Look up the words 'hyperbole' and 'sarcasm'
i read this as his baby was in the mcu and was very confused
1:52 Travis with another effortless dunk
Justin's delayed laugh really hit it out of the park
he communicates this experience too well i felt the suffering as if i were there myself, tired, overwhelmed, and above all, bibbed
It's wild knowing EXACTLY where justin is here since i've been to this exact Margaritaville

The giant *what* does *WHAT*
The best part is that there is photo proof
This is still one of my favourite closing lines to any bit. The cut-off point is beautiful.
Knowing this went down in myrtle beach is what really sends this over the top for me
The Literal Fucking Mob: kills a guy under the overpass
Griffin: I was in a BIB eating crab out of a BUCKET
No one really enjoys going to Dirty Myrtle
Source: Being an actual South Carolinian
If that was the worst day of Justin's life, than he has lived a beautiful and blessed life, which I hope for nothing less for such a wonderful person.
Is no one going to mention that Griffin at 5:29 made a callback to Glass Shark, a bit they basically refuse to ever talk aboit anymore?
prettyshinyspaghetti wait why don’t they ?
@@d1sasteroid they don't really talk about it because the accent that Justin did during that bit sounded racist and even though they didn't mean it that way, they don't really want people like. glorifying it I guess?
emily jane oh that makes sense, i always just thought of it as a Louisiana grandma impression tbh
@@d1sasteroid yeah i think it was meant to be? but they didn't want people to listen to it a lot since it might be interpreted in another light
emily jane oh i see, that’s a shame it’s a very funny bit! but i see how it can be misinterpreted as aave-appropriation
Damn when Justin said he had to walk by the closed down MagiQuest I felt that. That MagiQuest at the Broadway and the Beach was my whole damn family vacation cHILDHOOD
This seems like a Good Place episode
the good place is such a good show
You mean to tell me a Jim fried this rice
I guess Shrimp Heaven really ISN’T now :(
I live in Myrtle Beach, and I can confirm it is always this miserable. And he really missed out on that Magic Shop. It’s the best non-food establishment at Broadway at the Beach
Ok this is the first I've heard about the Myrtle Beach MagiQuest shutting down and I am LEGITIMATELY UPSET because that place was my CHILDHOOD
I keep coming back to this story, the full description at the end of the video really does it for me
“Sweltering miserable 95 degree heat of South Carolina” I call that home my dude
South Carolina, where kinda-nice weather means a hurricane is incoming.
im in florida. count ya blessings
Aw I was gonna comment about the Texas life where it's 98 degrees at 8AM but Florida has already showed up to remind me I don't live I hell.

"It was the worst day of my life, but the desserts were ok" sums up Justin pretty well
I keep this clip on my phone for whenever I'm having a bad day.
I will never not laugh when I hear griffin say “does it say something like: ‘this guy’s a queef’”?
Living in South Carolina and being able to PERFECTLY remember having pretty much this exact experience multiple times lol
As a Myrtle Beacher born and raised, I can say that every day you spend there will be the worst day of your life
this is so fundamentally relatable
When's Crab Shack gonna come out with Tracy Chapmn's "Fast Car" 2?
Joe’s Crab Shack was my LIFE as a kid when we went to Myrtle Beach
The glass shark shoutout!!
1:35 that's so sad oh my goodness. I still have my wand from when I went to MagiQuest the one time on a trip as a kid
I showed this to my aunt who lives in Myrtle Beach. She thought it was hilarious!
seven people and a baby
babys arent people
I grew up in Pawleys, and I used to play every week at Broadway. This is what I go back to, to remind me of home.
This bit never fails to make me laugh until my stomach hurts
i thought this was gonna be about when charlie was born and had to go to the nicu and he got stuck in an elevator
I made my mom listen to this so she would understand a reference I made. She isn't into MBMBaM or TAZ or anything but she laughed out loud at the bit about the balloon guy.
The increasing reverence for Jimmy Buffet throughout this account eventually becomes an attempted pilgrimage.
I was just wondering what Justin would think about Eddy Burback's adventure to visit every Margaritaville
There is better spinner of yarns than Justin.
Had to re-listen to this after Eddy Strikeback's latest video 😂
I would've thought the worst day of his life was when his daughter was in the NICU, glad to see it didn't affect him as much as it could've
Ye gods, imagine being zeroed in on by a balloon-dipshit while you're waiting at the NICU...
Atlas shrugged on this day.
Your first mistake was going to fuckin' Dirty Myrtle.
How is this only 7 minutes
That would actually be a pretty great day in my book
Vibes
i mean at least the desserts were okay
