As impressive Pacquiao was during this fight especially at the age he was at, man he was taking a bit of damage and certainly looked pretty winded in the later rounds.

Pac is actually getting slower at 40's but still faster and stronger than other young champs today and i can clearly see the punch activity of Pacman is reduced the prime Pac doesn't get tired, the age is catching up but still able to compete against young guns because that's how great Pacquiao is. Still humble and Godfearing. Hardwork plus talent indeed The GOAT.

Pacquiao started pro at 106 lbs, became the Lineal champ at 112 lbs at age of 19 way back 1998.
Moved up bunch of weight classes and won multiple belts including Lineal titles. Became the Lineal champ when he beat Bradley in 2016. Now at 42, he's fighting Spence for the Lineal 147 lbs title.
Pacquiao fought 44 title fights (both World and International). Beat 9 Undefeated fighters.
If and when he beat Spence: ----
1.) Pacquiao will be the only 6x Lineal champion in 5 weight division in history.
2.) Pacquiao will be the only 4 weight division The Ring champion in history.
3.) Pacquiao will be the only 5x Welterweight world champion in history.
4.) Pacquiao will break his own record as the Oldest welterweight champion in history.
5.) Pacquiao will keep his record as the only boxing champion in 4 diff. decades in history.
6.) Pacquiao will be the only 13x World boxing champion in history.
Yeah, and one more thing why i think manny is the greatest is that, weight classes are established to prevent mismatches among fighters, pacquiao who was originally a 106 lbs moved up to higher weight classes and beat the hell out of the bigger guys. Every pacman fight is a mismatch in favor of his opponents but he still managed to overcome the adversities in 8 different weight divisions.

I can't just imagine if pacman was still in his prime fighting all this young fighters. He would've mopped the floor with all of them. If you compared his speed and reaction timing to when Pacman was in his prime you could clear see the large difference in ability. Prime Pacman was a force to be reckoned with. Remember what he did to Oscar Dela Hoya when everyone was saying Pacman was gonna get Ko'd in the first three rounds ?
He beat ocar so bad that the commentators felt sorry for Oscar and even Oscar himself couldn't take the beating anymore and quit.

The only Fighter from this era at 147 who’d have a legit chance to beat Manny is Crawford.. Spence, Porter, Thurman, All Sluggers who dont really make midnight adjustments often and don’t move their head a lot and they too slow.. Manny UDs or gets a stoppage Vs all those guys.. With Crawford even though he can slug and has Power as well he’s a Boxer Puncher as well as a switch hitter who makes adjustments as the fight goes and he has a great reach advantage as well.. He’d give Manny hell and that’s a Legit 50/50 fight.. But everyone else from 140-147 today gets starched.
Imagine young top boxers still can't be at his level in his age now. He even injured spence eye without even punching him. Spenced got KO'd just by manny's training

Thurman was coming on those last 6, I’m a manny fan but he tends to gas the last 6 rounds lately, Thurman had lots of success when he was going forward, manny isn’t great going backwards, Spence isn’t going to get pushed back by the smaller man so I have Spence winning dominantly.
I think Spence will win on points but it won't be 'dominant' - the last time Spence fought a southpaw was in 2013 in an 8 rounder against a journeyman called Lartei with no punching power, he hurt Spence really bad with a right hook at the end of the 7th and Spence still had jelly legs in the 8th and was still hurt. Manny's right hook is 10x better than Lartei's and there is a reason that Manny is taking this fight - just like there was a reason he took the Thurman fight....because the time is right and Spence is not what he was before the crash.

actually, in the later rounds, thurman never took 2 consecutive rounds. thurman was winning a round, then losing a round. but if u watched the fighters' reaction to the punches, thurman's punches push pac's head more, but pac's punches hurt thurman more. u can clearly see thurman's body was reacting poorly. thurman was in worse shape (tired and hurt) after each round. pac, on the other hand, was just tired. and in the end, if you scored every 50/50 round to thurman, the best score for thurman is 115-112. on the other hand, the best score for Pacquiao is 117-110.
Spence is too slow . Thurman adjusted alot for manny fight ...in this highlights they showed only Thurman's landing punches . They never showed pacs domination .
