I don't know about y'all, but the shootout death and having to choose between your girlfriend and your dying mom are the most cold-blooded kills in this movie. Those are the two scenes that I really remember from this sequel.
So for the people that wish to know, there are multiple endings.
1: In one of the endings Matias is lured to a warehouse where he finds his girlfriend's bag and a gun inside. As the camera moves out to show the other users of the dark web, they vote if main guy will kill himself.
2: In another ending Matias gets captured and is buried alive. Girlfriend arrives and she calls him. He tries to explain that he's buried right below her, but the hackers blur his mouth so she can't read his lips. All his texts are edited to 'I wish I could sign better' and he is left for dead.
3: In the happiest ending Matias meets up with his girlfriend and they are captured, but the hackers vote to spare them, so both of them get out of it alive.

There's actually multiple shot alternate endings to this one. One where both the lead and his girl both manage to get out of it alive, one where the girl gets trafficked while the guy lives, and another where the dude gets buried alive

@@elemeno82002 Ooh it gets worse. While he's buried alive he manages to contact his girlfriend, but his sign language isn't good enough and they censor his mouth so she can't read his lips or something like that, leaving him completely helpless and her powerless to do anything about it.
@@Nexils Oh, THAT should be the official ending, that's really playing on all the themes that came before. Everything else is just standard ending stuff. This is the real nightmare fuel.

There were acc multiple endings to this film, if i'm not mistaken when it came out in theatres there were two other outcomes - one where Amayah does go to the park where they had their first kiss but beforehand we see Matias waiting for her there. One of the hooded guys supposedly catches him and buries him in a box right beneath her and it's pretty dark cause they keep erasing his messages to her from under there and she just leaves. The other ending, which i actually prefer is where he and her are being held back by a gang of hooded guys and the same poll is going on "Should Maitias live?" and this time they say yes and they let the both of them go. But it still ends with Erica in his house so you know regardless they're gonna be blackmailed

These two movies show how the way the characters behave will often determine how we will feel about the movie. Movie one, asshole characters, and you're having a blast as they get tormented as revenge. Here? It's just traumatizing.

It’s hard to get into this movie because of all the distorting and digital stuff because is it supposed to be paranormal? Is it supposed to be humans? Although deep web users can be evil af, I really don’t think they could make distortions happen like that or alter shit like that and it takes me out of the immersion because I was hoping for a more realistic type of thing (as far as movies go)
