Working on it! So far the larger choppers we've had were pretty wonky, or too heavy, or very uncomfortable handle. But each fall we order 4-6 more style to demo and play with out in the woods so we can get an idea of the next year's/season's re-order! :)
I like it. One does need a tip sometimes, though im not a "survive in the woods w/ one tool" type fella personally. So another blade can fill that spot.
The one thing that stops me carrying my golok as an only knife is it doesn’t have a tip. I have a tip on my smaller back up blade but I like a tip on my big knives. Cool review as usual. Keep up the great work mate.
Hey have you tried out the 5160 BUCK knives 108 Froe or the 808 Talon by chance? The Paul Bos heat treatment is usually far superior to most any other so they really are able to get some extended edge retention and durability out if their steels and 5160 spring steel is already some tuff/good shit lol
I can't wait for the next season of blades from BoDark tools. They said they were going to have a heavy chopper in the mix!!!
Say WHAAAAAT?!?! I’m in!

If I knew I was going to have to do some surviving in the woods, I wonder what I’d take. What cutting tools would you bring? You just have a backpack!

Great parang and nice review. Are you very agitated... Bipolar or simply enthusiastic by nature?
That is Malaysian made Jaya Mata Parang , you can get it from Bodark Adventure
