Epic ! IIt would add a feeling of epicness and truly being invaded, if in Twilight of the Gods Archimonde periodically summoned demon portals with spawning waves and infernals would fall from the sky and attack you
If Blizzard-Activision did their job correctly and didn't rushed Reforged, they might have pulled off something as epic as this or what you described. Poor CG artists and programmer.
@@YeenMage AOE2 DE came out well with a lot of improvements. Graphic that are sharper, but look almost the same like in classic. Its not perfect, but mostly well made and regularly maintained.
This gives a very Age of Mythology vibe.
