I can't understand the numbers at 8:00
The color in the painting denotes which note to refer to.
There are three notes with counts. One in which the stick color is red (Help), blue (note from bottle) and black (charity poster)
Count from red note - 14, count from blue note - 7 and count from black note - 8 (no of hearts)
In the painting the order of the color is - red blue red black --> 1 7 4 8

Thank you so much, I now see at least some logic in why there is a number 8. That is, this equation is 15 sticks minus 7 hearts, which equals 8. You are a genius!
Can you explain that B G D H can show number 7 4 2 4
Do you see that the B and D are in white and G and H are black colors? You get the number off the row the white pieces are sitting on. White piece in column B is in Row 6, black piece in Column D is sitting on row 4 an so on.
