  • Anthony Joshua's mindset has evolved throughout his boxing career, adapting to his successes, setbacks, and changing roles within the heavyweight division. Here's a breakdown of some key aspects:
    Early Career: Confidence and Improvement:
Entering the professional ranks, Joshua displayed a strong belief in his abilities and a dedication to relentless improvement.
He trained hard, honed his skills, and aimed to dominate the heavyweight division.
    Becoming Champion: Focus and Pressure:
As he climbed the rankings and captured world titles, his mindset shifted towards maintaining focus and handling the pressure of being champion.
He needed to be prepared for a target on his back and the challenges of defending his belts.
    Adapting to Setbacks:
Losses to Andy Ruiz Jr. and Oleksandr Usyk forced him to re-evaluate his approach. He demonstrated mental resilience and a willingness to adapt his tactics.
    Current Mindset (possible interpretations):
Challenger Mentality: Some believe Joshua has adopted a challenger's mindset again. He's no longer the champion needing to defend his position, but a contender striving to regain his place at the top. This could free him from some pressure and allow him to fight with a bit more freedom.
Focus on Skills and Refinement: Joshua might be focusing on refinement of his skills. Losses can be a catalyst for growth, and he might be working on tightening his defense, improving his footwork, or adding new weapons to his arsenal.
    Overall:
Joshua's mindset is likely a complex mix of various elements.
He needs to balance confidence with adaptability, be prepared for pressure, and constantly strive to improve.
His future success will depend on his ability to maintain a winning mindset and adapt to the challenges he faces.

I pray that Anthony Joshua regains his titles back and secure and keep The Undisputed Championship and retire undefeated; after that 🙏

💯%. I completely agree with you! Joshua deserves it. Unlike Tyson Fury the Sissy that won't fight. Joshua had 4 fights in 2023, 11 months total. Fury had 1 fight in 24 months and only took the fight because he thought he could win, but Ngannou won that fight. He's been ducking Joshua for several years now and it's about time he takes the fight. Joshua can take Fury, or Usyk either one. The only reason he lost to Usyk is because his trainer had him fighting 1w rounds to hope to win by points. This new trainer said let's let Joshua do what he does best and Knock bums out. I don't need to change him, only help perfect his abilities he has now.

The Mindset Of Anthony Joshua? True Hero

Love it. Thank you. I really am proud of how he has not only come back from the Usyk losses. But to improve, and not just a tiny amount. He has completely rehauled his defensive instincts. And he had also learned more advanced tricks. He absolutely is a better and more elite boxer than he was when he lost to Ruiz, and and both the losses to the best in the division Usyk. This is not the same old Joshua back. This is a new, much more dangerous, and more skilled Joshua. And hopefully he gets his chance to prove it, and etch his name in the history books to become 3 time Heavyweight Champion of the world. And possibly Undisputed, something he has pursued for a long time.

Great analysis. I feel he will get the 3 time. Would love to see him in with Fury and then a 3rd with Usyk. Punching with conviction again 🥊

@@MartialArtsRehab I want him to beat Hrgovic. And then go through with a proper mandatory for whoever is undisputed. And I'd like the rubber match with Usyk, unless that is the rubbermatch itself, then a fight with Fury. I also feel he dismantles Wilder if they fight. Wilder would stand no more than a punchers chance, and even that is limited due to his skills.

What rubbish, since his defeats he has not fought anyone at the highest level. Make this judgement when he has beaten a decent boxer.

@SA-bx9cp Wallin was Ranked #2 with the IBF. But fine, let's entertain your argument. Who should he fight to prove he is any improved? I'm advocating he fights Hrgovic, he is the #1 contender and mandatory for the IBF. He'd an undefeated top 10 contender. He already defeated Parker, and he is required to rematch Zhang. So who else is a top 10, worth while fight? I don't have a problem with him fighting other top 10s. But saying he isn't better at all while facing the same competition as others seems a bit bias.

He must convince Andy Ruiz not ro eat that much Snickers bars. He becomes invincible then. In Ruiz-AJ 2 he did not eat any so he lost

Absolute rubbish, judge him when he has fought a half decent opponent again.
