Diehard Eagles fan here, and this is absolutely right. Sure, I felt empty inside when the Eagles lost and I've blocked out the memory of this game, but I was happy for the Chiefs at the same time. They've done everything right as an organization, so they're hard to hate. I'll take losing to Mahomes and beating Brady 10 times out of 10.

Really? You'd rather your team lose in the semis, so they didn't have to lose in the Super Bowl?
Either you never played sports, or you never worked hard to get better if you did. Your mindset baffles me.
I bet you're a bandwagon fan. Were you a Patriots and Chiefs fan a few years ago and now you're Chiefs and Bengals fan and was a Rams fan briefly?

@@fredsanford336I disagree with what they said, but you acting like it’s an absurd premise is problematic and honestly kinda upsetting. It makes perfect sense. It’s the feeling of being just one step short. Losing in the semis you just weren’t quiet good enough, losing in the championship, you know you were good enough, it just didn’t happen this time. Nature of sports is that luck has a factor, and on a different day you win it, but not this one

So Pederson is fired and then the Kelce Bowl happens! The two teams I like played with class. It must have been much more intense for mama Kelce. Player wise I prefer Travis but if I had the choice to meet one I’d pick Jason. He’s seems like a better person. Travis gets CRAZY sometimes.

NFL is so different from like nba or nhl, when you get to the finals you wait an extra, week with a crap tone of media, and at the Super Bowl, there’s like 5 different anthems and awards presented and a half time show. Imagine doing all that just too loose. I can imagine why it’s so tough.

I get what he’s saying it’s getting to the highest point possible in your career and losing it. HA and College Football are different because there is a next level afterwards. Which is either professional or a career elsewhere when you make it to the league there isn’t another level up. So when you lose on the biggest stage it’s hurts because you may never get the chance again.

I don't know, they were both expected from a young age to be great athletes, their success was expected. Don't get me wrong they're amazing but they're not the typical American Dream story. They're two brothers with a bunch of talent, from a sport-centric family, which had success in the NFL. The American Dream is about the underdog who reaches the top overcoming all odds. Someone like Brady is more representative of the American Dream. Kurt Warner, Jerry Rice, Shannon Sharpe, those guys are the most notable examples of the American Dream in the NFL.
