Really hoping this video goes viral. Have been following you since the first interview you posted with Ashish from POSist and your content has always been one of my go-to in the Indian startup space.

I just appreciate how you pronouce the names. I'm not a native so have NO idea if you're pronouncing them correctly, but there is an obvious accent change, which shows intent, and that's important. New subbie!
The way i see it is, Ashneer has clearly stated his side of the story on interviews, even sticking his neck out saying ill publish my financial statements for the public to see if there is any wrong doing, and he has been consistent on that narrative. No single person from Bharatpe has come out and refuted that, its been 4 months already. I think Rajnish Kumar may have a big hand to play here since he was a government employee running India's largest bank with a very low pay he got an opportunity to run a private bank at a better pay and got Ashneer chucked out. I dont know if Ashneer has missappropriated funds here if at all, but the actions speak louder than words here.
I would have done the same thing with that employee of Kotak. If I would have lost crores. Your prestige in front of someone is nothing in front of multi-crores. Small mistakes of someone else in a deal for which you get big losses needs to be taken care of. Also, that bank employee broke code of conduct by recording client's call.
But for people it’s unfair , it’s horrible. That’s what they say, they talk about integrity and honour . But these fools don’t understand ,situational influence can make you do a lot of wrong things. They themselves might act horrible , even be abusive. But when they hear it on a media channel , they are like ram ram . Dogli janta.

Without seeing the video and earlier replies, I don't think its a down fall for Ashneer. Attitude of saving others time is a positive node with Ashneer and some another idea is waiting for his mentorship to grow multifold, even for more than 20,000 cr. I also had a past experience with investors, but he is superb with his attitude towards saving others time.
Broo ALLEGING is different to proving something, fake invoices is ALLEGED not proved. And he has saved crores for the company with his approach to business, around 100 crores or so. And he was audited during various rounds of investments and has had due diligence done as well, there was no problem then. If his Financials are being exposed why not of all the founders? What about these investors who do all sorts of frauds?
@@ntiisw they hired a handful of firms. For the last review they used PwC which is a big 4 (as in the video, financial irregularities found by a big 4 can lead to termination of founder)

Just like Bharat Pe wasn't truly Founded by Ashneer, same way Elon didn't Founded Tesla Motors, he became Investor couple of years later the company Founded, and initially bought the title of Founder with his money 💰
True, majority of the people got to know about him because he's a shark and our public has to put their nose into everything without knowing the actual FACTS about the case😑plus his timing was totally wrong, all this drama wouldn't have happened, it acted as a fuel for fire.
@Shanks we haven't witnessed what's happening behind the doors, people are only respecting him cz they find him straightforward or else they hate him just cz they don't like his personality, he might or might not be innocent we just don't know and even people are stupid in this matter, they haven't witnessed shit. We can't say someone is right or wrong without knowing all the facts. So I have NO opinion about Ashneer, people need to grow up and be mature.
Ashneer is not being "Rude" in ST..thats probably How he spark the fire in the young entrepreneurs who often seem to be less clear with goals...So he's only building the spirit..in the entrepreneurs.
Not the downfall, but the start of something much bigger, if you analyze ahsneer's personality, he has a DNA which is similar to elon musk, he is honest, has lots of conviction and zest, will create something much bigger because he created something huge (other qr businesses failed). He is still undeterred and has so much belief in who he is, the investors do things like these with founders all the time, happened with Steve Jobs too.
@@ntiisw most of it. Elon Musk is a man who has attained his position mostly with his own ideas and goodwill. When he had newly started making big amounts, he parted with philanthropy and some risks. Contrary to that, when Ashneer had the assets, he just wanted to abuse budding entrepreneurs as if they were unfeeling AIs. We can't call that goodwill, can we? Being an entrepreneur is perhaps the only thing common between them and i don't think we can call it as having a similar DNA. Indians think being rude and abusive means that the person is confident and will succeed in life. That's the major reason he's gaining popularity. Anyway, either of our points will eventually get proved depending on the future.
@@mukuchisama7322 I like your reply, and i agree with most parts. But have you seen what elon is like with his employees? We've heard about how Steve jobs was with his employees. An entrepreneur is there to CREATE, not to please people and show off his 'goodwill', ofc. There are people like ratan Tata(that's not why he is successful) , if Steve jobs or elon were to chase after being liked or being acceptable they wouldn't create what they create. So yes ashneer is rude and has that toxic indian work culture. I think people are appreciating him for his honesty, he doesn't give a damn about how he will be presented to the world, and there is something in us that gets inspired by that kind of a freedom. And he has CREATED a product with such high competition and with ingenious stretegies. So it's that aspect of creating/implementation/result that I appreciate, anyone can put on a show of 'goodness' but they might be highly toxic in real life. I don't care about good or bad, I am sorry none of us are 'good' people we've all done terrible things at one point, have you never been rude to anybody? And I believe that we are solely responsible for our mental health, you can't change people and their behaviour towards you, try it! When you judge and force others to be 'good' you're doing bad under the garb of goodness, because who are you to decide what's good/bad? We know the historical consequences of when people killed because they thought it was the 'moral' thing to do.

Superb video! 10/10 😄 kudos to the team and keep it comin!
i just loved how you pronounce bharat in Indian accent ❤️
It is not alleged when official reports are leaked from big 4 auditing firms
@@anonaanonymous8359 not by big four but some A&M auditors. Bro if auditors started leaking info, their firm would go out of business.
@@ntiisw they hired a handful of firms. For the last review they used PwC which is a big 4 (as in the video, financial irregularities found by a big 4 can lead to termination of founder)
@@anonaanonymous8359 bro yes everyone knows pwc is a big four, but the reports are not even released yet!!!! Have you even read the case? So preliminary report is out which is done by A&M auditors, which mentions irregularities, and A&M seems to be a fraud firm because auditors don't leak information, as no one will hire them in the future. The final reports by the big 4 haven't been released yet, so we don't know.
bharatpe's revenue for FY21 was 112 crores....according to moneycontrol whereas according to business standard its 700 crores....seems quite shady
Asneer is still rich and he can make/invest in other companies
Sure but he lost his face ...

"I had a very beautiful relationship with you" - that's Indian English at its best!
Atleast that's a English .
I Appreciate The Quality Of Your Content
2 mins silence for those who still compare him with Elon Musk
Before Ashneer there was a QR code. After Ashneer, it became BharatPe.
So, his Greed caught upto him. Another story on how the already rich tried to be more richer.
This is getting soo intresting... 👀
I love ur videos man, they r so informative and composed
Absolutely wrong about the shark tank point, ashneer is actually the most loved judge out of all..
Like we said at the end of the video RaKaYu, he is a very polarizing person. Some people love him, others hate him. You can find some people down here in the comments who fall on both sides of that spectrum. -Caleb
@@backstagewithmillionaires nah its really not a some people like him some people don't... Go into the comments of any shark tank video, its an overwhelming majority who love him..
@@rakayu8269 who tf said he was most loved judge any survey??
if we took people opinions he is most hated...and company clears with logics he is/was a scamster
Nah, he is disliked by many as well.
Check Twitter, YT comments, etc.
Those YT videos about him you are talking about where all the people are praising him, I suggest you to look at reply section of those comments.
Baat ka saar yeh h ki sab doglapan hai😂😂
wow it seems you have a close connection with India
BTW loved the content and you presenting skills
Just like Bharat Pe wasn't truly Founded by Ashneer, same way Elon didn't Founded Tesla Motors, he became Investor couple of years later the company Founded, and initially bought the title of Founder with his money 💰
Exactly Dnyanesh! -Caleb
Whatever happened ashneer will always be the best 👌. You are the best shark of shark tank . Love you bro
Thank you for the great video this was great to understand what is happening
Your videos can be treated as Documentaries. What a command over the subject and explanation. Keep going brother.
The indian government was also responsible for the growth of bharatpe to become a unicorn.
Best vedio i've seen about this issue...... Explained really well
Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning are actually founder's of Tesla
Exactly 🙂Elon came later, just like Ashneer. -Caleb
Arrogance is the root of all downfall. Ego is the icing on the cake.
This is the best video made in the BharatPe scandal.
are you drunk sir ?
are you dumb ?
- Truly the conversation of intellectuals
Wow , You explained the situation so clearly
how much does his company pays their workers, per month? that should be the success / failure meter of any capitalist in this global capitalism era
All billions of dollars should have gone to workers since they' do the entire thing.
Kudos TO u completed well explained video in 12mins
thanks for making this video straight to the point🔥
recently they did layoffs at third unicorn. 3 devs fired
Very objective analysis. Pretty good.
Ashneer is not being "Rude" in ST..thats probably How he spark the fire in the young entrepreneurs who often seem to be less clear with goals...So he's only building the spirit..in the entrepreneurs.
How did I not know you had a podcast!! OMG 😱😱😱
How disappointing, I thought he was actually a founder.
Turns out he wasn't
Elon Musk also didn't find Tesla. He bought Tesla.
Exactly Sohail! Just like Elon Musk did not found Tesla, Ashneer Grover did not found BharatPe. -Caleb
Elon didn't start Tesla either. In fact, the real founders cashed out pretty early.
Exactly! Same as Ashneer (minus the cashing out founders part). -Caleb
Nice joke!🤣
what are you even talking about?
@@mukuchisama7322 what is it that you don't understand?
But they both are worth hundreds of crores why would they do misappropriation for 10-20crores. But let the investigation decide
That is exactly why this seems fishy.
Great video mate 😊...you explained really well 👍
Loved the explanation. Thank you. 💜
