Trisha Paytas is one of UA-cam's most prolific creators, who has adapted themselves through a variety of eras like the Mukbang craze to being a member of the Vlog Squad to a co-host of H3H3 Productions' Frenemies podcast. Their other endeavors like OnlyFans have also made them quite a pretty penny, which explains this closet stocked with luxury goods from Prada to Chanel. From their controversial Balenciaga two shirt top to Louis Vuitton bags from just about every era of the brand's history, there isn't much they don't have!

Shout out to Trisha for single handedly keeping the bedazzling industry alive.
That's God's work right there.
Material possessions are more important for some people. What's in her closet? Who gives a fuck? If that's her number one priority, let's see where she is when she resells that stuff for non-charitable reasons. I love fashion, but I have zero interest for the way it's represented by people who use it for the wrong reasons. At least Haute LeMode knows Haute Couture.
the crocs!!! I'm DYING. I should bling up my ballet crocs.
🤭🤭🤭
Omg yes instead of a shoddy skincare brand she start a bedazzling business
@@AnnetteMay1221 Why are you even watching the video if you’re just going to dump on people for spending their money? I don’t like Trisha but it’s still not my money to spend, I’m not going to complain about what they buy. I watch these videos because I also love fashion and videos like these closet tours as well as the reactions to them educate me and remind me why I love it. I love the history behind pieces and the creativity in a lot of them. It is also interesting because what people buy and the way they dress says a lot about them.
Trisha would honestly be such an iconic bimbo if they weren't such a consistently bad person that makes bad choices at every turn lmfao.
I think she puts on that bimbo act People think it's cute and funny.

i'm just imaginating them with the t-shirt shirt, those dolce & gabbana hands sunglasses and the nicki minaj shoes XD
Hermes doesn't bling her Birkins but Trisha found the woman who blinged Paris Hilton's and paid her to bling her bags.
Watching Luke's brain break while he says "caramel....is a brown" may be my favorite Haute Le Mode moment ever

@@coolfulldowns just went back to listen, she says caramel.
I think she is trying to say a neutral brown but it’s still very funny
@@TheAnneril yeah it makes sense for her lmao
But hes right
Would love to see Luke rate youtubers fashion lines like Trisha's sad boy, H3's teddy fresh, pewdiepie's tsuki tsuki, etc.
Yes! I seem to remember him doing a review for James Charles’ brand ‘Sister’ that was beautifully brutal.
Lmao now we have an idea of what he thinks of Sad Boy.
I’d like him to check out a brand called childish by tgf I’ve noticed the way they handle their clothing brand is vastly different to UA-camrs
Pewdiepie is a Nazi
I am inlove with Teddy Fresh
To be fair, her closet is actually rather interesting in terms of like individual pieces. The fact that she bedazzles everything is true to who she is. Like her closet is a reflection of who she is and honestly that's the whole point of a closet. It's tacky, shiny and disgustingly expensive but most of all she has a story for all her purchases which is really cute. Love that for her
The worst thing about the embellished Birkins is that they look...well..."cheap"😸
Immediately lowers the resale value, too.
@@_crusoe kind of a huge flex in and of itself, right?
I’m sorry, but I’m kind of into it. Birkins are a huge status thing anyway, they’re collector pieces due to their exclusivity, so in order to be even considered for purchase - you have to be someone, right?
What better thing to do with the “honor” of owning a Birkin than….to do whatever the heck you want with it and completely depreciate the collector value, rather than keep it behind a glass case like it’s a fine art sculpture and not…a status purse.
To completely “ruin” a a status bag you’re not even allowed to have without birkin-verified status is kinda punk rock.
@@LoryBelle yeah absolutely. I love the idea of doing what you want with it. Jane Birkin (English singer and the bag's namesake) uses, draws on and totally wrecks hers. It's just so obscenely wasteful to spend such a ridiculous amount of money on something you don't even like, think is ugly and doesn't at least appreciate in value so you get something from it.
she buys her birkins from 3rd sellers mostly consignment she has no connection to hermes
@@_crusoe lowers??? It DESTROYS it, oh and did I mention hermes will never service/repair the bag ever again…

They’re pretty bad as a person but they are entertaining and I liked some of the pieces in the closet.

I used to be a buyer for a luxury sunglass company. You're correct, there are 3 major sunglass parent companies that make the luxury branded sunglasses. Marchon, Luxottica and another smaller one. The funniest thing about them, is the lenses are horrible. In the US, they only have to be like 70% protective against uva/uvb rays to CLAIM 100%. So you're literally paying triple the price for inferior lenses that cost the companies maybe $7 to $12 a pair to make. Then, you get a scratch and there's no warranty. You're literally paying for the name.
Yup I stopped buying luxury glasses when every single pair kept breaking and my first ever Ray Bans are still going strong. Somebody I know who works for an optometrist told me the same thing.
Can't you just get the lenses replaced
never switching my rayban polarized wayfarers.. they may be boring but they work sooo well
Do you know about gentle monster sunglasses? Who makes them? I’ve always been curious if it’s just from one of the big brands.
@@graykobain6001 You can, but it seems kind of silly to drop hundreds of dollars on luxury sunglasses only to spend even more money on getting the lenses replaced.
Trisha trying to be relatable like "I don't understand why people buy that 🤪 it's so ugly" yet they bought all that with their own money
I honestly think Trisha doesn't know why they buy half the things they do.
It's the voices in their head telling them to buy useless shit

Luke's encyclopedic knowledge about fashion, including specific runway year & background info on trends, is beyond impressive. Beyond.
Never would have thought that trysha paytas has a more interesting closet than jebadiah starfish, but here we are.
Omg, i just saw her danger days jacket, trisha is now my favorite closet tour so far
Jebadiah starfish!! 😂
Indeed, and looks more organized too lol
Trisha is nothing if not interesting...
He buys things just because of the brand and Trisha kinda does as well but there’s more flavor in Trisha’s closet. It has more personality.
The Jimmy Choos were made for the Cinderella live action Disney movie, multiple brands designed shoes for it. It was a competition to see who would create the best shoes that resemble the glass slippers.
Those Dolce flower sunglasses were around $490 and there were a few other prices that definitely weren't correct. Either Trisha WAY overpays for things or just made the prices up. Trisha certainly likes to stretch the truth...
I also think it’s very possible that she bought it secondhand from someone who swindled them lmao
@@hannahw8266 No, she's just lying as usual. ALL the items here are overpriced. I'm surprised that he didn't fact check more although you can tell he's side-eying some of the price claims.
I believe Trisha buys from secondhand online stores like eBay.
@@jakestroll6518 maybe resell prices
@@jakestroll6518 I think so too, I seen a lot of her hauls, and a lot of her purchases were coming from the real retailers. while I do think she buys some stuff from resellers tho, but not most of it
This is exactly why LV, Dior and other big brands are doing better than ever while designing absolute shit… bc the nouveau rich wanting the brand name have no taste… the worse and tackier it looks, the better it sells.
As a side note: Most watch collectors don’t actually wear mechanical watches simply to tell the time, but because of the art and engineering that goes into making a tiny and accurate machine that will tell the time forever, even without a battery. Actual timekeeping is often secondary to the appreciation of the savoir faire of craftsmanship. There’s also all of the creativity, inventiveness and variety that goes into watchmaking, as well as watches being a medium where people can express their person style.
Many of us also wear watches as a way to celebrate the centuries of history and heritage behind watchmaking - people don’t often wear hats today either, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t many people along with hundreds of milliners, hatters and haberdashers who make headwear in order to keep alive a historic medium of dress and accessorization. Just because something is obsolete or other, more convenient and modern replacements have been invented doesn’t mean that the old thing is irrelevant or should be discarded. Fashion isn’t simply about the present and/or future, it also examines, interfaces with, references, recreates, reimagines, reinterprets and decontextualizes the past.
Something else that sets watches apart from other accessories is that there has long been the existence of a watch culture that is passionate and dedicated to the furthering of the hobby. More people carry handbags than wear watches, but you don’t see the same level or scale of conventions, societies, non-profit organizations, design awards, competitions, magazines, blogs, books, media, innovations, etcetera that focus on handbags as is the massive breadth of watch culture. Watches are still a huge deal.
Whilst the average person probably can only list a few watch companies, there are literally hundreds of watchmakers, from ultra-luxury haute horology at the top end to tiny independent manufactures to mass market fashion watches - all with myriad and diverse designs and aesthetics of their own.
I wish I could wear a watch, the ticking sounds drive me CRAZY!!!!

Same! While I don't wear bling, I love looking at crystals and bling. Love looking at the pieces in their closet, like you said they're more art pieces than wearable stuff.
I will give them props for actually showing things in their closet and giving stories behind the items, unlike some other closet tours.
Love that about her. Not only "this is my X dollars hermes" "this is my X dollars LV" "this is my super rare X dollars super lurury handmade by god... bikini". Love her crocs though, very iconic, could relate.
I gotta say, Trisha has one of the most interesting closets I've seen. It's so over the top tacky and campy. The bedazzled everyday objects give me sorta Warhol Campbell soup can vibes. When you spoke about the Moschino McDonalds collection as a commentary on for the classes/ for the masses, it made me think that Trisha is sort of accidentally creating a thought provoking art piece in their closet. It’s strange how many people haven’t watched “Father Of The Bride”. In the movie, the bride wore white bridal sneakers instead of high heels under her wedding dress. (I believe daughter would play basketball with her dad in the driveway so it was kind of symbolic of growing up but still being daddy’s little girl.) It’s fairly common for brides to wear comfortable shoes underneath their dress to the point that casual shoe companies such as Keds carry bridal shoe lines. Most of my friends wore ballet slippers during their weddings though.
Ok??
Yip, she's not doing anything new.
Yeah, but those still are not pretty
@@uselessalpaca6777 no one said they were. Just saying that wearing sneakers with a long princess gown is nothing new
You could not pay me to wear heals on my wedding day. If I don’t wear them for the rest of the year, why would I wobble down the aisle and be uncomfortable on the most important day of my life? Especially if you’re wearing a long and heavy dress.
Can I just say how impressive it is how you are able to quickly recognize brands, the season, and the inspiration behind it? I’ve never really understood fashion, but watching someone so passionate about it is always a joy.
“They’re pretty affordable, they’re usually less than $5,000”. She never takes a break from trolling the internet 💀
I think she meant compard to a 50.000 birkin.
I like the fact that you still consistent about D&G while everybody jumped to D&G puke-worthy love wagon lately.
I appreciate the sort of honesty and her lighthearted jokiness about: money can’t buy happiness or style. At least I can appreciate that she likes what she likes wears what she wears, regardless of how gaudy, fangirly, and just dripping with crystals it is. To quote Natalie Wynn “behold this f^cking camp queen”
Also can we talk about how she have also cheap items she use and got embellished? She's not like "oh, I'm not poor anymore so I threw all my cheap stuff out and I just dress in Versace from head to toe everyday".
The Jimmy Choos are not the ones you looked up. They're the Ari's from the Cinderella collection. With 7000 Swarovski's they're definitely $4700. Gabi DeMartino also bought them as her wedding shoes.
It makes my brain hurt how they buy so much of this stuff to have it sat in cupboards 😖 you better believe if I had the money to throw at a chanel birdcage I'd be wearing it to the grocery store every day
For me it's more like: how on Earth do they have so much money to waste? They don't work, don't have any education, accomplished nothing. It's painful to watch.
@@annapetryk this! ☝🏼
you want to get robbed at the grocery store? smh
I don't think you would tbh, somethings will not be useful or appreciated on certain time/places. Even if you tryed to wear it everyday, it will not ever fit the purpose and situation. I think that is very specific taste for a very specific occasion. Even if you are using it just for the history of fashion as he describes. You would not wear the McDonald's bag for a very important wedding or ceremony. But maybe the Chanel birdcage would be a nice piece for a few items and to complete the look you may be trying to wear. They cost a lot of money, maybe some people tend to spend their money on other things, she's not a billionaire but maybe for Trisha this have a role in her self esteem than any other thing. Btw the birdcage bag is already expensive, in a few years she can sell that for maybe double what she paid for.

I'm all for spending money on quality items, but seriously Trisha's ugly sunglasses collection would be a decent mortgage deposit. It's all just too much on stuff that I personally think is basically just expensive fast fashion haha.
Doesn't she already own a home? I think she is a bit addicted honestly
@@aesinam Oh I didn't mean specifically so she could get a mortgage, I just meant in general as a way of showing how much money it was. 😂 I'm pretty sure she's admitted to having a shopping problem before though, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's an addiction aha.

I’m not going to lie, I enjoyed this more than any fashion influencer closet reaction.
this whole video is just: Trisha being a sheeple and a prime example of wasteful consumerism. you look bomb tho!
I mean she has openly talked about how she struggles with just buying things that she doesn’t even care about it. I do it too, it just gives a rush of happiness for a second but then they just sit in bags on my floor because I don’t actually care about the item. It’s not a healthy habit or anything but to call her a “sheeple” is a little uh well incorrect and just a bit rude.
I wonder how people can spend money just for spending money. As someone who saw their family struggle with money in childhood I find such people vain, sheeple and fairly spoilt .
@@jordanbodkin3517 Well, to be fair, and let’s be real, Trisha acknowledging her imprudent, wasteful purchases doesn’t make her consumerist practices any less squandering. These are foolish decisions she’s made for herself and blindly done too, with all these temporary “hyped” items- perhaps sheeple isn’t the most incorrect thing as to describe her. A little extreme analogy but a murder who admits to his crime is still a murderer no less, their acknowledgment does not provide leeway his way right?
@@radone168 I mean, another way to look at it is that its her money, she made it herself, she's entitled to spending it. And she probably also does donate a lot of it. Why judge?

@@zzzzzz-ti2rv whether that’s the whole idea is kinda irrelevant when the specific customer is entirely aware and acknowledges frequently that designers sell weird overpriced shit because people with money can be easily convinced to buy weird overpriced shit.
The easiest way to explain it is that she’s both buying and wearing this shit ironically, but she happily allows people to think she does it earnestly, because it gets them talking.
Trisha is aware the companies are doing this, aware she’s the “dumb customer”, BUT she’s entirely in on the joke and she knows people will talk when she wears something outrageous, it’s yet another way she trolls the internet and gets people talking….. be it making fun of her for thinking the stuff is cool (she doesn’t) or making fun of her stupidly asking if dogs have brains or who invented gravity (again, she doesn’t actually think that stuff) these are just some of the many ways she gets people taking. It’s all about capitalizing on cringe and the obsession people have with shitting on every dumb move internet people make. This has been her schtick for 15 years, lol.

I assure u once u start doing that u become addicted and then u explode thank u for coming
Love your commentary omg. As someone who is super interested in fashion but doesn’t know a lot, i love how educational you are about the origins of these designs. So good!!!:)
I love closet tours. I find them fascinating, but with time, I’m starting to believe a lot of celebrities use shopping as a way to self medicate because who needs THOUSANDS of dollars worth of stuff that’ll never see the light of day after one or two wears?
I'm over 200lb as well and when she said that on camera I had to admire the confidence. However, that's why we saw mostly shoes and bags and not a lot of clothes because unfortunately designers still don't make fat lady clothes for me and my fellow fatties 💕💕💕💕 yes we are fat, but that's a totally separate issue that is different for every person. It has nothing to do with the fact that we still might have $$$ to spend on style and fashion. But the world is forcing us to wear Lane Bryant and express our couture side through shoes and bags. And comfortable shoes, too lol
Anyways
You can be both fat and beautiful. Let's not gatekeep style and fashion, it's 2021, we have all been through a lot and bonded ok let's drop all the BS
Edit: I'm just talking to the wind, I'm not trying to start any kind of argument or anything. Nobody here is the problem I'm just venting
Also no hate to Lane Bryant but just saying lol
Honestly if the industry isn't making big girl high fashion it's because there's no money in it. Fat is a lower income phenomenon because they lack the time or access or education to make healthier choices. 200 pound millionaires are a rarity.
That's capitalism. I'm not saying that in a good or bad way I'm just saying it is what it is. And fashion is extremely commoditized now. It's a status symbol more than art. But again it is what it is.
I would argue on behalf of fat people that being poor = greater chance of being fat, and being rich = greater chance of being skinny. But not the other way around. People aren't fat because they are making bad decisions and are dumb (well, some definitely are lol but not as a whole). Anyways, if you are lower income you don't have access to healthy food because of issues like "food deserts" which is too much to type out here.
To be clear I'm agreeing with you (I think) but just adding to the comment.
Also lots of rich fat people exist though. And lots of people are fat for reasons outside their control. And lots of people are fat because they made bad choices but so what, their bad choices are just easier for people to see and judge and other people's bad choices might be invisible.
I still think there is a fat stigma in fashion but I also think it's changing. I think the market will eventually adjust to it. It's trendy to have diverse body type models now, but is it a moment or a movement? Will any actual change happen? Probably but only gradually.
I just smoked a joint so sorry I'm long winded hahaha

Thank you for making this video, Luke❤️ always love watching your videos and learning something new about fashion❤️❤️❤️
It's actually quite interesting, compare to some other UA-camrs closest.
Hearing Luke saying "BASTA!" is something I didn´t know I needed
It's 1:29 am here in Australia, and I am so glad I'm up for this video
4:05am in nz!
This was surreal. I loved Luke's commentary bringing what I was seeing back to Earth.
The Ghirardelli commercial about the Caramel squares coming on right after he pauses about Caramel 🤣 perfect! 🤌🏼
I remember that Balenciaga shirt, when it came out, was one of those runway items that were trendy to make videos on YT (like either people 'recreated' them or people actually bought and styled them) so I'm not surprised that Trisha Paytas, the most UA-camr of UA-camrs, bought it lol
Money can't buy style. AT LEAST THEY ARE SELF AWARE. 😭😭
This was the first video I’ve ever seen of yours after seeing it in my suggested feed and I absolutely loved it! I just love your thoughtful, well spoken and very educated commentary. You 👏🏻 give 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 facts 👏🏻 babyyyy 👏🏻! I completely love hearing about when a piece was released, what collection/year it was, the designers history, why a specific detail is the way it is, if there is a deeper meaning behind a piece and why or where it came from etc. I just love it!
I fully loved and enjoyed this video, I came from a Chris klemens video, loved your personality but now LOOOVE the fashion/brand insights you’re giving ❤️
I’m a big fan of your shirt!
Yes! Same
When I think of the Prada flame heels I just think about violet chachki. But its nice that candle jeggings is a fan.
I was hoping you would do this video 🤩 thank you for this
I didnt wear heels for my wedding, I wore sparkly toms. I knew if I wore heels I'd end up taking them off after the ceremony, so I didn't want it to drag all night. I was in my dress for 11 hours, so no heels for me. Comfort over something people literally do not see lmfao
I love that he not only reacts, but also like educates us in his videos lol
The amount of knowledge this man has about fashion blows me away every time
Luke is literally killing me in this video🤣🤣🤣 I am dying!🤣🤣
Omg I was waiting for this! 🖤
13:23 The sunglasses are like a horrible car accident: I want to look away but I can't. I wish I could unsee them but my brain won't let go of the horror.
Emperor Nero would have totally worn those while playing the violin
Or while watching Rome burn to the ground ;)
@@user-ow1qs7jo7f yay, reference caught!
Wasnt it a fiddle tho?
omg ID on the shirt you are wearing Luke!!!! OBSESSED!
Luke just muttering to himself by the end... 🤣
The thing I like about my closet is no one could ever identify where all my stuff is from. Its all vintage and thrifted.
I love how they are true to their quirky, unique style. It's truly about the love for the interesting items, not for they possible investment value for the future nor what others think.
It is true that they don't know the artist behind the design nor brand, but since their real interest is in pop culture, the love for the items itself comes from there
Omg yes - I have been waiting for this!!!!
Thank you for these great reviews Luke! 💞
24:57 I Just noticed that for the moschino collection it was spring *2015 , not 95 🤭
Love that Luke knows every item. The year and all of that. Amazing
When you don’t fit into couture sizes you end up buying all the expensive accessories like sunglasses, bags and sneakers.
Ha! That is so me 😆
Everyone fits into couture sizes. That’s why it’s couture. It’s made to measure. Maybe you mean sample sizes or ready to wear sizes?
@@nataliaalfonso2662 Designer clothes bought in store are not made to measure. People use 'couture' interchangeably with 'designer'.
Well shame on them for not making plussize clothes
@@icinfin117 that’s not couture. That’s ready to wear. People do not use that interchangeably Lmfao. Not anyone that knows fashion or watches this channel.
Hi Luke. Love your channel.
it is so satisfying to watch you just point out and talk about what collection each purse is from and all that i love
I love an excuse to watch Trisha Paytas without actually having to give her a view😍
It was on insider youtube channel, not trisha lol
So you want to follow her without actually following her ? Sounds like your're a fan lmao
@@tessy28 I think they just don't wanna support a bad person. Trisha is an objectively bad person at this point.
I didn't even know she existed before this, I'm stunned. As Luke said, an experience.
Trisha is so gaudy it's kind of impressive, lol. I love that for them.
😂 thank you for making me LOL you don’t know how much it was needed ❤️ on point commentating 👍🏾
best line!! “the call is coming from inside the closet” i died
