So nice to have you back! My name is Irene, i live in Athens Greece, and i use looms almost 5 years. I co-owne a store with looms and yarns in Athens, and we are the only store in Greece that believes the seriousness of loom knitting technique . We do workshops and we are trying to make loom knitting the most popular way to knit !
Hi Irene!! Thank you for your message! Some time ago (maybe years ago) I received an e-mail from a Greek store, was it you? Sorry because I was so busy with my baby at that time, that I didn't work on anything related to loom knitting at all. If you want we can talk about how we could cooperate, would you like that? If so, please send me an e-mail to info@tuteate.com :)
What a beautiful hat! You have been instrumental in teaching me how to loom knit, and I have recently begun charity knitting. I plan to start this project today and will donate it to a homeless shelter when done. Thank you!
Thank you so much Susan! I also think it can be great for donations, it is easy and quick to make and the result is very cozy... :) Thank you for your time
Thank you for another great instructional video! You know, I must be the only person looming in Greece.. Looming is not popular at all here...and your videos help me a lot to understand how to loom..
So glad to know my videos are useful! ^_^ I think you are not alone in Greece with this hobby! Some time ago I received an e-mail from a shop from Athens who were promoting this technique... (but sorry, I don't remember this shop's name)...
You always come up with the coolest projects. Thank you. I love this. I don't have any autumn colors but I'm going to make one of these. Thank you again for doing what you do. :-)
Thank you for this wonderful video on making this beautiful hat I learned how to make my first seeded hat watching your videos I truly appreciate them...🦋🦋🦋
LOVE how this turned out! Another favorite for sure. The video is very easy to follow and even a beginner like me can make a hat in a day. Or two. It's super important to track your rows and the video is sliced into segments making it easy. This one is saved so that I can make it again and again. Definitely [Subscribe] to Tuteate!
With 1 single strand of #5 yarn will look pretty too! :) (I used 2 strands here because I wanted to use this yarn, and it was too thin to only use 1 strand)
Hello 😀 do you think you could do a tutorial on a messy bun hat with a hair band????? That would be great if you could. Thank you for this new hat, can’t wait to make it.
Thanks for sharing such a good video! After watching this video, i would love to make one too! But would like to know: which brand is the loom you are using from? I went to your store but not sure which one to buy as different looms seem to have different peg spacing length🤔. Please tell me if you wish
I just finished making this hat following your super video tutorial! Thank you so much! Do you have a pattern for a matching scarf? Would love to make one! Thank you again!
Thank you for your comment! :) So glad to know you made this hat! This is the matching scarf pattern: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/loom-knitted-fall-scarf-cowl I finished it as a cowl and added tassels to it, but if you work it longer, you get an standard scarf.
Love your videos and always look forward to them. I am always curious about the yarn you choose, is it possible to include the yarn name? I know it is not in the US but I buy yarn from all over the world. What is this one? Thanks.
Hi Della! Yes, I would use the 31-peg loom for a baby, and I would work it shorter... Here a useful Hat Chart: www.goodknitkisses.com/Resources/hat-chart/
You can also buy the hooks from Michaels, Hobby Lobby (I think), Amazon, Wal-Mart, eBay and AuthenticKnittingBoard.com. My favorite is Boye's with the red handle at Wal-Mart.
@@equatebond2809 Actually, I found the red one online @ Wal-Mart, ThanQ. Now, if I could just figure out how to backtrack when I make a mistake. Ne suggestions? I've ripped my project apart more times than I want to admit.

Thank you for the examples Sharon! I will try it! It looks like a fun project ^_^

Can you use one strand of extra bulky or do you need two strands anyways

Hi Debra! I used a yarn called Valeria di Roma TIBET 😊
Do you just use a different loom size for a baby?
Hi Della! Yes, I would use the 31-peg loom for a baby, and I would work it shorter... Here a useful Hat Chart: www.goodknitkisses.com/Resources/hat-chart/
