Gf don’t listen to your man. That living room needs some contrast and some personality injected into it. Get those coloured cushions and fill that wall, something. The pink sofa is cute.

Girl, do what you want 😂 it’s your house too! Get that extra wardrobe & blue cushions aha ! Think the pink sofa would look great with a grey or white throw & some cushions. Personally I’d put in a fake fire place on the big wall and move the tv above it :) then have Polaroid photos on that corner going down the corner bit of both your fave memories

Radiator cover in living room with ornaments on top of it then TV above it on the wall and a tall slim bookshelf in the corner where the TV is? Maybe put your old small coffee table in the corner near the double doors with candles/flowers? You're going to have so much fun decorating! You should check pintrest out so many DIY bits you guys could do! X

Love the blinds on the back door, so satisfying😂 You could put a hook on the back of the door of the cupboard in the kitchen and hang up your shopping bags to make more room on the floor x

Boyf has a lot of negative vibes lol & yhhh you need some shelving girllll. Another good way to fill wall space is to put a massive mirror up
I feel like most guys just don't have the ability to see past plain walls like us girls just have so many ideas and they always think they'll look crappy until it's done 🤣 I definitley agree something extra for the wall in the living room and little bit of sticky back D trunking on the tv cable. And the shelves/prints in the office gaming room and your bedroom...Your house is lovely! 😍

For the living room, personally I’d probably get another one of those mirrors and have them both beside each other to make the dining part look a little bigger and then have white floating shelves in the middle of the wall to kind of separate both areas. Fill the shelves with photos, ornaments, plants and nik naks and it would look really nice x

Maybe paint one wall in the living room a colour and then some shelves like you said would look really nice! Maybe grey or a light blue to match the print on the other side? Your house is so cute! And the blinds look so satisfying!💖 just subbed :) x

I agree, the living room wall is a little bare. Put up a shelf or 2 one above each other but off centre and place your hanging plants on them with maybe a leaning photo frame. You could also use shelf brackets to add some definition to them and make the shelf’s stand out

I'm 30 years old and about to move out of a rented house into my own house and I honestly DID NOT realise carpet was that expensive! I will have to budget for it now haha.

I love your house it’s so lovely! Deffo think you should get some nice shelves above the radiator which you can put the ivy on and some little decorative vases or something! I think if you got some curtains on the doors next to the tv it would make it look all cosy, you could always get blue curtains and then cushions to match on the sofa and maybe a rug under the coffee table! And your pink sofa is soooo nice ignore everyone who says otherwise ❤️❤️

On the blank wall in the living room I would do floating shelves with simple bits on like mini fake plants, pictures, prints. That is my plant for my living room wall near the tv xx

How about a fire place! Or a Mantle and use a board in the middle to cover the radiator and then add some logs in the middle or candles I think some sort of fire placey type thing would look great

What about some rustic dark wooden shelves (maybe the same colour as the floor) in the living room? I'm not sure if it would go with the clean modern look but it might help the garden tie in with the room, plus you've already got plants. Or a radiator cover painted dark grey or dark blue to match the pictures opposite

I think with where you’ve put the tv in the corner Instead of straight in front of where the sofa is sat it’s needs a big feature point for the room on that empty wall , so maybe a nice big silver clock ? I just feel shelf’s might make it feel abit sparse

For that back wall where u think somethings missing why not have a bigger plant in a nice pot like big coming half way up the wall (awful at explaining) but itd break up the all without hanging anything on it id insert a photo if i could of what i mean but i cant haha

Totally agree about the tv wires Jess and I would be focusing on that every time I walked into the room too😂 we have a console table in our hall and the lamp from the wire hangs down the back of it 😤 First thing I see every time I open the front door.
