Darby and pigeons

This is a fun exercise with any age dog. The pup learns to come back and I have another bird. I will eventually give a clip wing pigeon to retrieve as a reward. This also introduces the pup to me being important because I have the birds. Also this drill will be something I build on. It also has the pup/dog responding to my whistle or verbal command. I can control the response by having birds. If dog doesn’t want to be connected with me, then I can’t continue in the developing process.
