This was the one show I disregarded every single other thing in my life to be at and I am so glad that I did.
Same. I went through so much trouble to make it but it was worth every penny.
Damn, I wish I was able to see him play
@@ShibbyPictures Damn, I'm so fucking jealous! Pat is truly one of the greats. As a word smith he's up there with the greatest rappers ever.
the energy had to be so beautifully overwhelming 😌
And on the night that I play my last show, I’ll be
Singing so loud that my heart explodes.
And I’ll be singing, I’ll be singing: 'We are free!'
Oh, but won’t you promise me that we won’t ever
FORGET WHAT THAT MEANS

RIP, Erik. RIP, Ramshackle Glory.
R.I.P Folk Punk and my 20s.
@@paulainthehills folk punk is thriving again
@@wireablesheep1338 what do U like listening to? I just happen to go back to this vid and saw that your comment was from 4 days ago so I figured I'd ask LOL. I've been stuck on these songs and mischief brew on repeat, I gotta expand
@@kibbl8668 I listen to all of Pat's music, apes of the state, local news legend, mischief brew, rent strike, pigeon pit, Jeffrey Lewis, and some lesser known artists like Justin Arena, Out of System Transfer, and Cowboy Dead. I listen to a lot more than this too but it's just a list of some of my favs
Scratch Cowboy Dead off that list... Dude ended up being a pedo
God knows what I would give to see Pat or Ramshackle Glory live. Unfortunately I'm a bit too young and only found out about them in 2021. Hope Pat's doing well nowadays ❤
I couldn't go because of work... normally when I'm stressed I make the joke 'capitalism is killing me'
Finding out I missed this it's more apt to say, capitalism broke my heart.
Make as many copies of this, make separate audio files of the show as well. Archive this, save it. Ramshackle Glory and Pat were important. Important to punk by helping make the scene. and important to fans for all the nights Pat brought them back from the edge.
Never forget.
We are free
BlazedBastar666 i missed enough mischief brew shows that ill regret the rest of my life. i saw a lot but could have seen the anniversary show, orphans reunion, and others
But don’t ever forget what that means
I never even got to go to any of his shows, however I'm sure it doesn't matter if you see him live or not. Pats music lives on in our hearts
the state, the police and the federal government don't have your back but Ramshackle Glory does
I still periodically go back to this.. I cried so much that night in the crowd, my eyes felt like they'd cave in and nothing will ever be so goddamn beautiful, pure and flawless..
I still come back to it....
@@MazzyMalkav do you still?
Well Pat's heart didn't end up exploding...gives me hope for a future that has at least one song by Pat involved in it, though I get that he wants to distance himself from music and his past...fuck I feel selfish for wanting him to write more songs...he's just so good at it...one of the few musicians I've ever related to. If he's really done then I wish him the best, and if he isn't then I wish him the same.
I think he'll be back some day. He won't be the same but I don't expect him to be. I disagreed with a lot of his politics and the things he's trying to be distant from now, but I still love his music. He's a gifted songwriter. I just hope when he gets back he's not hard to find.
inamoratasamazing he isnt distancing himself from music. just publicly. it makes sense. he doesnt have things to sing about. he isnt a fucked punk anymore. he isnt recovering anymore. he is just a normal person and frankly his newer songs reflect that. they lack emotion and feeling. he writes just to write what people want to hear
I wouldn't say there has been a lack of emotion in his later music at all...
Chris Smith hell always be recovering
4 years later and I still remember this show. Honored to have run a cam on this. RIP Erik
Best live show I've ever seen 🤙
Farewell, musical prozac.
also @31:08 that's me shouting "SHUT THE FUCK UP" towards the person who said "play johnny hobo"
fitting that he'd start the final set with the last song he wrote before entering rehab, and close with a song about being glad for growing out of feeling the need to use
I heard of Pat first a few months ago. I didn't get to see this show live but Ramshackle is just on repeat in my headphones at work. Watching this keeps making me grin and I feel silly. I just love it so much. I think you have won at music when the audience sings every song.
can't believe i was fucking there. what an amazing and emotional experience. the whole fest. moshing and crowdsurfing with all you wonderful punks to ramshackle glory was the highlight of my year, and i'll never forget it. i love y'all.
I was really thankful for getting to experience it, it was also my friend's birthday that I brought along too. Being one of his favorite bands he couldn't of had a better night. I hadn't known they recorded the show until a few days ago when another friend of mine told me.
Ramshackle Glory playing their very last show is heart breaking, but definitely one of the shining moments of my life to be there and experience the emotion that was felt that night. The entire festival definitely made an impact on my life that will last forever
I dont know about you guys, but during your heart is a muscle, when he kissed his significant other, it brought tears to my eyes, you could absolutely feel that emotion.
That was actually Denise from Fistolo Records
My apologies ! I assumed wrong, either way, it was nice
I hope I can go to America and experience something like this one day
Declan these types of shows don’t exist much anymore anyways
It may not be easy, but you'll find one. And you'll be screaming so loud your heart will explode from happiness
Don't. Shit I gonna hit the fan.
@@isaiahstephenson9775 I wouldnt miss a show of Pat The Bunny for the world. I could come back from that show with several ribs broken with the biggest smile on my face
even years later, the passion is overwhelming in Pat's (and the rest of the band and crowd's) voice during Your Heart is Muscle. during the last chorus I cried a little
a well produced show, with electric instruments and amps. and the crowds singing so loud it still sounds like a basement show.
Can't believe I couldn't make it. I missed their last show..
Such and influence in my life, RIP Ramshackle glory. Glad your heart didn't explode
I'm so sad I couldn't come. Why'd I have to find out about Pat on October 2016?
this was the best show of my life actually it's tied with the last plan it x fest when I crowdsurfed ajj
Holy shit! So fucking lucky
Few things make me regret not getting into them sooner like this, but hey; I'm just glad to be listening to this at all. Hope everyone in RG's doing well these days.
I gotta save this video for special time in the future. I'm going to be going through some huge life changes in the next few weeks and I know if it gets really bad I will have the last Ramshackle Glory show to help get me through any of those hard times :-D
never forget that many members of the band just released a new album, and ramshackle have a new full album coming this fall...so this isn't the absolute end :)
inamoratasamazing
Is Pat going to be on the new album? (I doubt it but it doesn't hurt to ask:-)
wastnTIMEwastnTIME Pat will be on the new Ramshackle Glory album. They've released a song off the album that costs a buck to buy/listen to for charity (broken heart) which has pat on main vox, and I'm sure he has front on the rest of the album since it's ramshackle glory and the new band(s) to form out of it refuse to go by the same name or songwriting style.
If Pat's only on that one song when they release the album they would feel like shit for pretending it was a Ramshackle album.
Btw just hopin' the major changes in your life go along well! I experienced changes a good five years ago now thanks to Pat so I really hope you're doing alright!
inamoratasamazing
Great to hear we will get a final album! Something to listen to to go along with this final show :-D
Thank you so much! With the experience in life that I have I feel like I can get though these times. The ball on all of this is already rolling but the hard stuff is still yet to come. Nice to know we all have a great person such as Pat (and the band) in all of his (their) musical forms to help us when we need it when we might not have a person in life to help get us through. Thanks again for the well wishes! :-D
I live in the uk and heard this music 2 years ago and even tho he’s gone Erik Peterson and his music saved my life
also I can't be grateful enough for the accessibility options that were available there
Holy shit thank you for recording this.
Thank you pat. We are free. dftba
I love how at Pats last song, the second to last song or whatever is Departure Arrival. 2016 cost us two of the greatest ever, RIP ERIK and please Pat don't abandon us lol
this looks like the most amazing show that i'll never be able to see
thank you pat
Reading the set list, and my heart skipped a beat upon reading Departure Arrival
Thanks for putting this all together
Thank you so much for this! Pat and the guys really kicked it
The audience being louder then the pa is so amazing.
Oddly I have never been into drugs. But when I first encountered it, From Here to Utopia was the exact kick in the ass I needed.
Amazing thanks for filming it i will be returning to watch it again
Thanks Pat and crew
Thank you Pat!
Honored to be the 1,000th like on this video. Great show, wish I could have been there.
Still here in 2021 like:
"Call me when your president pulls out of Afghanistan
Because that's the day I'll get a cell phone number
And you can call and leave a message on voice mail that day"
Ayo! Hit me up with them digits Patty Pat I wanna leave you a voice mail!
This would work better if potato was legitimate.
But good try champ!
That was just beautiful.
Dude the mischief brew song at the end got me
great edit. thanks.
I’m feeling a lot of emotions right about now
Thanks you
They pave the way for the unique ones who will succeed them.
Pat's dad playing with them is dope
Goodbye Pat...thank you for everything.
And good luck to him. Life is a wild and complicated journey. More than staying true to his beliefs, I just hope he can find happiness.
One of my favorite albums.
Made me smile to see Douglas again. I was wearing my Ramshackle Glory tshirt the night I met him. Was a little embarrassing
how many live shows have ever been as good as this
there was a proposal! congrats!
I cried so hard when they left the stage that night.
10 video feeds and nobody thought to get clean audio. At least now I know what I'd do if I had a time machine!
This is clean audio the crowds louder then the pa.
@@neverusingthisagain2Yes, you are correct! Thank you! This is a great museum piece (that I come back to!) but if they used dynamic mics, I'd be able to listen to this much more often.
How come Pat was there? I thought he quit a few months previously?
BadMouseProductions probably as a one-off comeback to give the band the sendoff it deserved. (Also hi BadMouse I love your work, comrade!)
One last big job
My sadness for not being there is crushing xc
29:21 AWWWWWHHH
Pat is love Pat is life
I miss PIX so much.
Yeah? Chris is a fucking piece of shit. Everyone hates predators til theyre in their own scene, then its ok.
YES I MADE IT IN THE VIDEO

deadass broke down crying not gonna lie
SAME
favorite part of the entire show for sure
alright what am I missing here... its been a long hard day? What am I not getting..
I was straight crying from the moment Departure Arrival started until it all ended, it's probably the only time I'll ever cry at a live show.
Clean shave, cut hair, it's so surreal
I didn't know that Shibby did stuff with Pat. I love days and daze, guess they got a good group - or at least had.
Ok.... It's been a long hard day.
I was there.
we need pat more than ever :'(
2016 was the end of an era in folk punk.
fucking goosebumps.

I guess Pat has a cell phone number now
R.IP. brotha u would of loved this shit
This is beautiful
Topo Sikosis I know it's been a while but the banjo player has a project called Douglas fur and it's fucking incredible. It's kind of hard to find but he has a bandcamp. The album is call the dried up rivers of today will be the mass graves of tomorrow.

whyyy!?!??! seriously whyy!?!?!

Thanks for the cigarette butts, Sober Camp
Ugh I want to try my best to replace the hole that Pat left in folk punk but feel like its all so futile
Fisher Stuk pats still here. erik petersen left the hole
i was rly high on acid and cried so fucking much during this entire set
Never coming home. 12:32
You can't hear Patrick over the crowd he's inspired.
Is he happy about that, I wonder.
I sooooooo wish id have found him sooner and couldve caught one of his concerts before he quit
Amen
Wait, is this really their last show?
Yes
“Play johnny hobo!”
“SHUT THE FUCK UP!”

The song about sobriety ends at 4:20 just sayin
Imagine having Never Coming Home played after you get engaged… weird place to do it
when and where the fuck was this, FML
july 22-24th spencer indiana
Samuel Robinson dont know why they played their last show in a place like that. no offense to those from indiana
Im glad they did, Indiana is close to me. Worked out well it seems.
it's because
1.) Plan-it-X was based out of Bloomington, IN which is ~30mins from Spencer.
2.) For the most part, PIX Fest has been hosted either in Spencer or in Bloomington.
3.) IN offers a central location for various parts of the US where a lot of folk punk bands are based out of.
4.) we in Indiana are more than our god-awful vice president and our backwards reputations.
no offense taken, but if you don't know the significance of folk punk in Indiana, you need to read up on our local music communities. we have them. even a place "like that" can breed brilliant artists.
Yea never coming home
Are the 2 anarchists happily married now?
This show shows why you would leave...
"we are a queer anarchist band" don't know much about the members besides pat but i didn't know anybody from ramshackle glory was lgbt. as a lesbian and pat the bunny fan that's pretty cool :p
I love the music but what the fuck with the upskirt shots of that guy...
Tensa didnt see anything like that... where? theres a guy in a skirt?
Look a bit harder man. Unless you're just messing around, it's fairly easy to see.
imagine the smell
Wish i was into ramshackle before they retired :(
