In Bangladesh, we had Jera Pani (which literally means cumin water). It was a great soda back than. I really liked it. Now I haven't seen one for long time. I think they stopped producing.

Yeah, Jeera paani was a bestseller for Pran, they stopped the production because the juice Vendors started making Jeera paani on their stops & it tasted much better. So, Pran started losing money & stopped the production

yes this is actually REALLY good for digestion, instead of drinking sprite or shi i eat soaf (fenil seeds, which are an alternative for cumin seeds). zeera tastes good too

Haven’t tried Zeera Soda before. I have had Zeera Rusks (not the sliced toast kind) which are pretty good.

YOO jeera soda is pretty popular here , during like 2017-18 when i used to play football outside with my friends after we end we used to go to the store and buy like 5 bottles , it was so refreshing and in our language its called "jeeraga soda"

Over here in west bengal india ...we have something called "jol jeerar sorboth" which is a drink made of cumin powder....black salt ....Tamarind...mint leaves and black pepper. Many ppl drink it as usal specially during summers and it helps in digestion. Also it is sold mixed with soda water ...like a mocktail in many places. And it's actually good . Although point to be noted that if u like it once u will love it...and if u dont u wont ever😂

Its a very common drink in south india to be more specific in kerala it literally cost about .16 CAD which is very cheap, its a very refreshing drink and its not coke coloured but yellow

I remember trying soda when I was younger like 7 or 8 the soda didn’t give me any energy but Pepsi Coke/Diet Coke and Zero Sugar Pepsi/Coke and when I was 9 I tried Mountain Dew it tasted like green apple but it was awesome

Woah, Jal Jeera is so common here (in India) that I didn't even realise a cumin drink could be this surprising. It's actually really nice! And your mother is right about the plain water drink being better. Try out a jal jeera powder if you can get it!
