That is right... I was asked to leave my own house, no part in share, my elder brother and sister dont talk to me since a decade, my inlaws don't respect me the way they treat other son in law but it's OK as this is a very small price I paid to please our Lord!
What are some practical steps to stop being a people pleaser and coward and hypocrite (trying to please the people when its displeasing to Allah and sometimes displeasing people to please Allah)
Fear Allah and review your intention to make sure it is for Him alone. Likewise, associate yourself with the Salafis who are not crowd pleasers and be warned from mixing with innovators. You are upon the way of your close associates, so choose them wisely. And Allah knows best.

Many of the prophets and messengers as well as their followers were outliers in their societies while most people were OK with the status quo. That is how most people are today; nothing needs to be fixed and if you advise them you're "extreme."
