#Trainz #TANE #Railroad - Ігри
I know you said don’t attempt to put the P&B into real life geography but I’m going to do it anyway (With a bit of my own history). the p&b was originally two old rail lines that created an east-west link from the Great Lakes to south eastern Pennsylvania. the Allegheny and Grafton Railroad ran between Allegheny and grafton. The Berwind central ran between Allegheny and Junieta. Sometime in the 1880s the state of Pennsylvania forced a reorganization and the railways merged into the Pennsylvania & Berwind railway. the railway would be a pesky rival for the mighty PRR railway as it was another east west link railway link. The p&b enjoyed good times until it started seeing hardship in the 60s. The railway was bought by the PRR in 63. In the penn central days the line was to not be part of the new conrail network, but due to the large industries along the route, they couldn’t abandoned it. The government came up with an offer, local businesses and corporations would create a new railway corporation with 50% subsidization for 15 years, payed by the government. A new corporation was formed in 72 as the Pennsylvania & Berwind railway corporation. So for cities, Allegheny I imagine is a Pittsburgh type town located along the Ohio river, with juineta being somewhere in south eastern Pennsylvania, maybe near Hagerstown in Md.
Great work Joe. This area reminds me of the Jersey Medowlands
"Ash-tuh-byoo-luh" and "Kaa-nee-aat"
As for the trash trains-
At least in my area, the empty garbage trains still have the containers, just without anything in them.
I wonder when he'll do a ride-along on the P&B or some switching or something.
Next week ;-)
@@ApproachMedium Ooo! Can't wait!
Hey Joe and everyone else. I'm back. Good to see the old P&B going strong! It's been a whirlwind year for me and looking forward to getting back in to some P&B Trainz. So happy to see you still going on this! Bill's classic lives on! :)
Love how you added in some Great Lakes to the P&B! I guess it's close enough. Yeah....never could put the route into a box.
I'm from Northeastern Ohio, I laughed at the way you pronounced Ashtabula and Conneaut! But I love these areas along the water, and I'm excited to see this implemented into your railroad!
Yeah I dont think anyone gets its suppose to make a beau sound for the bula part???
Nice design of the yard
Amazing work as always Joe!
Cool lake eirey is the one I live near
The more you talk about Cities: Skylines, the more I kinda expect a Cities: Skylines or Sim City 4 Let's Play. By the way, is it wrong that the colour scheme of the Pennsylvania and Berwind reminds me of the Milwaukee Road? As always, great video.
I always thought the P&B paint scheme looked a lot like the Milwaukee Road scheme
Big yes
HELL YEAH!! I was waiting for long time for the ep 40
Approach Medium. If you are looking for a route in the future to start. There is a download in content manager that has only Bailey Yard. A good starting point
Looks great
Awesome!!
Awesome 👏
Another good place to look around ohio would be Toledo it has the same idea of Conneaut and Ashtabula especially for grain transload.
YES trash trains love those,
Wow! You build very cool! It is very cool! I want to learn the same, I will watch your videos! Hello from Ukraine!
I keep watching these and I keep thinking the Pennsylvania and berwind is a shoreline railroad... but this is looking more and more like a class II railroad, maybe on the verge of being class I?
DLS has some actual reed assets as well
It feels like its been ages since the last P&B video lol
Ashtabula Ohio (ASH-tə-BYU-lə) and Conneaut Ohio (KON-ee-awt).
When will the map be updated?🤔
is it possible to in future episodes, to put some asset links in the description?
I beileve the correct pronouciations are Ashtab-yew-la and Conneaut is pronounced Conneeought
i hate to ask but do you know where you got the mec gp7/9's in your maine central series
So can we name the lake Lake Eary?
What's the kuid for that green bridge you used? I'm currently filming a time-lapse of my NS Pittsburgh line construction and that'll be perfect
McDaniel Memorial Bridge kuid:316:23022
@@ApproachMedium thanks man I finally got my first trainz episode out because the bridge was the one thing I needed😂
Still no donate button. Oi !
REEEEEEEEEEEEE
ah well. At least we've got Patreon
Hi
What's the name of that building asset that you used to lay the track through for the Garbage Processing Facility at 14:11?
I think it is on jointed rail, not a 100% sure but try checking there.
Yes it is on jointed rail
@@enzoeatstrainz8967 ok thanks
What category is under?
@@railfanningmichael3970 probably under freeware
What is the name of the roads your using on this route?
They are the JR roads. I think they came with Tidewater. I also used them on my DBEV route.
where can I find the AM Utility Truck Content, is it yours?
Currently it’s only available to Patrons but it will become public freeware in early 2021
@@ApproachMedium okay
It’s actually pronounced Ash-ta-Byoo-la.
I have family there lol
And Conneaut is pronounced "CAHN-ee-ought".
