I understand your style is more neutral in color! Personally, I love the pops of red white blue in your house for summer. I liked the flag above the stove. Also thank you for sharing your tip about the fake shrubs. My grandmother taught me something last year. We were making a fake flower arrangement to sit outside in the cemetery. She uses clear spray paint on the arrangements to preserve the color longer. That may help your shrubs last longer too??
Looks nice but never hide the USA flag. It looked so much better above the stove. USA and 4 the of July is about the RED WHITE AND BLUE. HAVE A BLESSED DAY.

Love it, I do like the wooden flag on the hood over range. Love those faux trees, I have winter a lot of snow and snow removal, so sometimes I need things I can move into storage out if the snow plows destruction zone. Lol. Love the little duckies so cute.

I do like the flag over the stove and how it ties into the banner over the fireplace but see how it could be somewhat bold, but I may have a solution. What if you whitewashed it so the colors would be muted? I love how everything turned out. I so wish I could decorate for all the holidays but I pick and choose (Halloween & Christmas) because of my limited storage space.
Ohhhhh the ending with that version of our National Anthem (if only that could be played in its entirety), combined with how everything looked...brought the goosebumps! (enjoyed the other new tunes as well!) Fantastic guys! Hmm I prefer the flag in full display over the stove. Close call there. Love the "Sweet Land of Liberty" pillow. The flag looked better over the stove. You are using the flag colors why not draw your attention to that over the stove? Behind other cutting boards looked like you were hiding it. How do you store all these pillows when you switch them out? Pillows are just not my thing. Wish we could hang out in our backyard but 100 degrees keeps us in.I know Tulsa area can get that hot. We use to live in Tulsa in the 70's .But now Texas is home ! Happy 4th of July !

You definitely need more color. Everyone decorates with red white and blue. You don't have to go overboard but almost all white is boring. Don't you decorate for Xmas. It's the same thing. Your house would look so much nicer with a.beautiful patriotic wreath on your door. Love your outfit.

killdeer momma's are tough protectors of their babies.. but they certainly chose the weirdest spots to nest. Lived in an apartment and they were bad at mowing.. well the kill deer moved in under my windows...

Paint the flag's white stripes and stars the color of your star on your coffee table and it won't be so loud on your range hood.
