If I'm not fishtaken, you had a whale of a time doing this. You did seem to dive a bit deep for some of the puns, you were treading water at the end there.
Hey, I confess, haven't laughed this much in days! Seriously though, it never occured to me that the Charcarodons were inspired by Maori culture, you learn something new every day.
I might be able to add some perspective. I tend to add the leather skirt armour (bought in bulk from Kromlech I think), crested horsehair helmets and shortswords, as well as the more regal bits like from the Sternguard kit
@@kapitankapital6580 yeah, like for my current Veteran Intercessor Sergeant he has the champion head and leather skirt armour from the old manlet kit, as well as a pair of Ultramarine swords (one longsword and one shortsword because I like to be accurate to combat styles). I cut the slung bolt rifle from the Intercessor kit and put it under his sword arm somit looks slung. Some small ornaments and a fancy shoulder pad and he's done
I thank the algorithm for giving me this absolute delight. I'm new here, but if you're taking requests/inspirations-- Iron Snakes would be a fun one. Vaguely-Hellenic Ultramarines, they have their own book (Brothers of the Snake, Dan Abnett). Just make sure you've got the copper flask!
Beautiful! Potentially expensive, but beautiful . I would love to field some of these guys but I just can't commit at this time. They are a great chapter for the advanced hobbyist.
Tanks a whole lot, Pete, now I'm going to have to shell out a load of clams for more Intercessors and fish through my bitz box to build up a Krill-Team of Carcharadons, as I'm not a manta shy away from a challenge, no matter what barracuda get in my way. Okay I floundered on that last pun.
the auto-generated subtitles wrote harridan instead of Carcharadons each time, which I'm finding quite hilarious! Another possible weapon would have been chain axes, which seems to be still used by that chapter
Stop, stop, my sides are splitting, some one call a sturgeon 😉 Lovely conversion, some great ideas there for a very enigmatic chapter. It would be cool to see one of these done on the Ashen Claws, for those who like a none chaos flavour of renegade astartes.
Aren’t the space sharks Pale skinned? I’m pretty sure the reason they have islander links is due to having the mantis legions old area to recruit new members?
So yeah guys I'm absolutely hyped for the next instalment of the "5 Ways to Use Dead Animal Bits" series! But yeah in all (to quote Jeremy Clarkson) srznz, I love this series. Though I am still trying to decipher which paints you use half the time. Especially this almost powdery soft-looking grey you've got going for the Stre-I mean, Spess Sharks.
I've been experimenting with a few, new brands with these videos. The first two were mainly Vallejo but these last too made use of Scale 75 paints. Once I'm a bit more confident with them expect to see some videos on how I achieved these paint jobs.
The only problem with the Tyranid stuff is that it would potientially look a little too organic. Grown rather than built. But Tyranids parts would look great as trophies though!
I'd ask if you could do a 5 Ways to Convert Space Marines into Blood Ravens, but then I realized Blood Ravens players can just use all the other ones you've already done. Bloody Magpies. Should have locked the armory.
Shaving off imperium iconography? Heretic!
Removing chaos iconography as well? DOUBLE HERETIC!
😂
Is double heresy like a double negative?
@@Vanastar It's Heresy² :D
Vanilla Jester it’s heresy but with no allegiance

Sweet, first 40k theories posted his theory video on the Carcharodons and now Pete posted this. Happy days for the Space Sharks fans
And it's not even shark week! 🦈
Yyeeaahhh
Always nice to see a good ol' Space Shark.

The nonchalant witty banter is excellent. Love your videos man. Cheers from Canada!
A somewhat similar chapter you should do next would be black dragons! Their conversions are insane!
Honestly im loving the dead animal bits segment
More to come!
These jokes honestly make me smile. Please continue.
Hey, I confess, haven't laughed this much in days! Seriously though, it never occured to me that the Charcarodons were inspired by Maori culture, you learn something new every day.
I'm glad that I was able to make someone laugh, at least intentionally for a change.
Great model and tutorial! Thanks for sharing this Pete. The painting looks great too.
You're welcome! Thanks for commenting 😁
I'm doing a Primaris Tyberos at the moment and this video was really helpful. Cheers😁
👍Starting my Carcharadons army, came back to this to get tips and ideas
I feel that Pete was floundering with his fishy puns. 😄👍🦈
I love this series, just for all the temptation it creates
Judging by your avatar, you'll love the next video....
Can,t wait
Can you do Ultramarines next? I'd love to see you try to insert some identity into an infamously vanilla chapter...
There's a kind of "Romanesque" to a lot of their artwork so that might be a good avenue to explore.
I might be able to add some perspective. I tend to add the leather skirt armour (bought in bulk from Kromlech I think), crested horsehair helmets and shortswords, as well as the more regal bits like from the Sternguard kit
@@cianmcswiney2505 Do you do that with Primaris?

Heavens, the sheer density of puns rivals even Party Elite´s vids!
Great convertion though.

That was a very nice conversion, and it has inspired me in some of what I want to do. Thank you so much.
Keep up the great work Pete, would love to see conversions for all of the first founding chapters.
Eventually! Might take me a little while though 😉
Seriously your videos get better and better. Came for painting tutorials. Subbed for the lawlz had. Thanks
Pretty sick looking mini! Love it!
Always a pleasure to help you make these videos possible, despite way too many fish puns. Fin.
Thanks for sprinkling those bits into the top of my fish tank 😁
Digging this jump in the already great video production quality
Thanks!
Looks great! Gave me some good ideas for creating my own chapter
Nice keep it up!
And is there a painting guid for the armour and markings ?
Great video! Great puns! And please say you are doing a how to paint space sharks?
Splendid!
I'd love to see your conversion and painting skills on a Deathwatch Kilteam! ^^
I'm curious which paints he used on this model, I like it.
Great Job on the Tutorial. Any chance of a painting tutorial ??
Excellent ideas! Great explanations. Thanks for the awesome tutorial
Pete, thank you! MY favorite video so far!
I had great fun on this one too!
Neat idea, good idea extending the Maori designs on the armor.
Im just starting in warhammer and the sharks are gonna be my first army appreciate this video
'or from a helpful crab friend' xD
Unless they're being shellfish that is
I fish this had a painting tutorial!
Awesome video Pete. You had me chuckling all the way through with your puns. 👍
These videos are seriously inspiring. I wish I had the talent and practice you do. Do you do commissions for kill teams or armies?
Your videos are incredible man. Keep up the humor. Fantastic
Will do!
Great work!! Could I ask you about the painting for your Carcharadons?! Really like the bluegrey and the drawings
Great video and great ideas! I hope there will be a video about convert of Blood ravens)
Love the conversion videos!
The puns were dad tier by the way. =P
Perfect, the tier I aspire to be at.
Fantastic Video. Helpful + Entertaining is always a good mix
Thanks!

That would be a pretty cool challenge actually. Tackling a non loyalist chapter without making use of typical chaos tropes, thanks for the suggestion!
@@PeteTheWargamer enjoy dude, quite an interesting "chapter" aswell, both visually and in terms of lore. Happy crafting 🍻
Proud kiwi here, you mention the All Blacks. Well done!
this gives me deathwatch ideas
The heresy armour with the circles all over would be a dope starting point if anyone ever tried to mash Dr.Who with 40k in making Dalek Marines
Hey could you do a Primaris chapter but as Luna wolves or sons of Horus? If Cawl used gene-seed of the arch-traitors personal legion?
awesome stuff! great tutorials!
Great vid!
Thanks!
I enjoy your work
These videos should come with a pun counter ;) Keep up the good work!
I feel no counter in existence could withstand this level of awful puns
Dude sick model
It's a good thing I always have crab friends around the house
These look badass
Seeing the amount of stuff you'd have to source here I'm just gonna go see if anyone 3D printed some.
Please do a Tyberos kitbash.
Old video, so Im not sure if Pete will see this, but how did you do the paint scheme mate? Can't find a video on it :(
Good work, head spike thing was step too far but otherwise great. The tattoo markings, how did u do them?
How do you shave off the iconography so smoothly? It looks practically like it was moulded that way.
Dip the part in acetone first for at least 30 seconds.
What colours did you use for this?
Came for the conversion, stayed for the painful puns. My penannce is complete and I am pure again!
Looks very good, maybe black dragons next? There isn't lot of stuff of them.
Black Templars are next and then probably something Chaos. But I'll definitely keep Black Dragons in the running!
Please do one of these for the Minotaurs!!
Already did! ua-cam.com/video/_0T015za6q0/v-deo.html
Loved the conversion almost as much as your fishy puns xD Great stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can you do raptors?
Could you possibly do Iron Warriors? Although they're CSM I think it'd be a nice challenge to convert them.
I've included a heretical astartes option in my latest vote on my community page, be sure to vote for them and you just might get your wish 😉
Cool figure.
The puns are great man.
Do Salamander Conversion next pls

FEAR MY EYELASHED KNEES!
To be fair, if someone walked up to me with giant eyelashes glued to their knees and screaming that at me. I probably would fear them
Very cool

Anyone know colors are used on this particular shark of ours?
Love the puns!

Pete: I play Deathwatch, how would you suggest transferring some of the "exile marks" onto black armor?
paint them white?
