I love this video! I remember sharing this every day on the streets when I was a full time missionary for the Church in England. I just love how they explain the plan that God has prepared for us in a few minutes, it's kind of like if Heavenly Father was trying to say "Hey, I know life is hard and it may feel like it's so complicated and there is no way out, but it's simple, I have given you the nswers in my Gospel but I need you to look for those answers" I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ has what we need though sometimes it's not what want to hear and we procrastinate making those good chioces and chaging our life. But I say it again, I know that God really wants everybody to know this and be happy.
now we are all meet dead from this universe, everyone suffer, but our hope to wait God's kingdom, It will bring joyful and peaceful life. revelation 21:1 to 7 words says that about the eternal life.
That's an important point, Cory. "Resurrection" as in "Jesus was the first to be resurrected" (and as many religions define it) is a state wherein the person returned to life will never die again. On the other hand, Lazarus, Jairus' daughter, the widow of Nain's son and other individuals miraculously returned to life by Christ would eventually again sicken or age and die. Jesus as a resurrected being, like you said, fully perfected his Godliness--and would never die again. Beautiful :)
No matter how much He knows us, it is important that, through agency, as you said, we prove Him we will do all the things He commands to us... like Abraham did. It was not an easy task to sacrifice his own son, and yet, Abraham proved God he would do His will. In His immense wisdom and to fulfill the requirements of justice, God allows us to exercise our agency freely. We choose to follow him or to don't, but ultimately it is us the ones who decide.
The Church calls it a "veil of forgetfulness". We are sent here to be tested. How will we live? What kind of people will we become? What values will we hold to when we learn right and wrong? This is why it's called faith. If we remembered our time in the pre-existence then it would be knowledge, no need for faith.
I live to better the lives of those I love, my friends and family, those around me, and hopefully the lives of those to come after I am gone. I live to love, experience as much as I can, and share my talents and ideas with as many as possible. And I do all of this without a God. Being a good person is something all of us are born with, we just have to tap into it, whether that be through God or whatever you choose, the only important part is you find a way to accomplish it.
You very well could be a good person but with God on your side you can become a great person. This is what the Church is all about, taking bad people and making them good and taking good people and making them great. These are the ways of God.
A lot of religions believe that there is a difference between angels and us, and that angels were with God before we came to earth. We believe that we were those spirits in the spirit-world who were with God, our creator. The reason we are here on earth was because we chose to follow the Savior's beautiful plan. I testify to you that this church is true and living. You can learn for yourself like I did, by reading the book of Mormon and asking God if it is true with real intent & faith in Him.
Hi, I have been asked this question many times by struggling members and investigators. all i can say in the space allotted is this; all people are free to make their own choices sometimes those choices bring pain to those around them, but if all you knew was happiness would you appreciate it? what we are to learn is; choose good circumstances, associations and mindsets, follow the gospel closely and even when hardships arise you will feel support and love from God and you will be happy.
I love the Lord's words in Matthew, "Not everyone that saith Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." the only work Mormons believe in doing is following Jesus Christ. They believe that if they accept him, then his Grace will save them. No one can work their way to heaven... It is the gift of God, but even gifts have to be received. Mormons believe in accepting and receiving Christ's grace... as the narrator says...
God promised us eternal life before this world began. When we choose to follow our savior Jesus Christ and his plan. 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (New Testament | Titus 1:2) 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (New Testament | John 3:13)
Those are really great Scriptures, now that you mention them within this context of Pre-existence these scriptures make more sense. Thanks for sharing!! 😃
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Old Testament | Jeremiah 1:5) Anther one that testifies of the pre moral life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (New Testament | John 3:17) 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. (New Testament | John 17:17 - 18) I know we are all children of God the most high. We have been promised all the glory he has...Pretty amazing promise when you stop and think.
"Nature shows us only the tail of the lion. But there is no doubt in my mind that the lion belongs with it even if he cannot reveal himself to the eye all at once because of his huge dimension." Albert Einstein
The fullness of the Everlasting gospel are the things at we must know, understand and do to return to Heavenly Father. The Fullness of the Gospel is Faith in Christ, Repentance, Baptism and receiving the Gift of the Holy ghost by one having authority. It is these principles that give us eternal salvation. There are many places in the Book of mormon that teach us about Gods Plan and we have modern day prophets that shed light on some of the deeper questions that the Scriptures prompt us to ask.

wanted to do, rather than what God wanted them to do. I came to understand that the members, and missionaries, did not want to convince me with their words, or trick me into believing what they believe. They didn't try to scare me, or convince me, instead they taught me that God loves me, and desires me to have faith in Him and his son, Jesus Christ. They taught me James 1:5 and taught we can ask God to know truth from the Holy Ghost. I have a testimony from the only irrefutable source on earth.
This video is pretty awesome, I really like the paper cut-out style, you guys should do more of these, they're very clear and simple to understand- I like em!
the doctrine is that you are saved by grace "after" all you can do... meaning that you are indeed correct that it is the grace of the Lord which saves us. we of our own volition can in no wise earn our way into heaven. however the grace of the Lord is not imparted to anyone and everyone unconditionally. there are requirements, or as the Lord would put it there are commandments that we have to obey and teachings we have to follow in order to be worthy to have that grace bestowed upon us. obedience is the true expression of faith. without the atonement of Christ returning to God would be impossible because all of us on our own fall short of perfection which is the requirement for returning to God. however because of the love and obedience and death and resurrection of the savior we then have that great opportunity to bridge the gap between our weaknesses and the perfection which the Lord requires. think of it in this way... there is a canyon which is 100 feet wide and you are on one side and the Lord and heaven are on the other side. the atonement of Christ acts as the materials to build the bridge and then the Lord Himself acts as a helper. However the Lord is still on the other side of the canyon. For every act of obedience on our part we can move a foot closer to the Lord. The Lord has set commandments and stipulations associated with those commandments. according to those stipulations the Lord has agreed that He will only build His side when we build our side. so for every foot of bridge you build on your side the Lord also builds a foot of the bridge on His side. only when we do everything we can to build our side of the bridge can the Lord build the bridge on His side. and the grace of God comes into play because none of us will build our entire side of the bridge and according to the will of the Lord He can step in and finish the bridge. however it is the will of the Lord that we should do our part. doing all we can to build our side of the bridge is the requirement and as long as we, in the eyes of the Lord, have done all we can then he steps in and builds the rest. this "stepping in" would not be allowed nor possible if it were not for the atoning sacrifice of the Lord on our behalf. without the materials (atonement) the bridge could never be built, but we are the ones that must put forth the faith and obedience to build that bridge and with the help of the Lord bridge the gap that separates us from God.
Well, I think the best explanation is, well, the one that the Book of Mormon gives. Alma 30. All things witness that there is a creator and there is no empirical evidence to the contrary. For my own opinion, in matters regarding that which we do not know, which is the majority of that around us, we take comfort and guidance in information beyond the scope of our full understanding but well within the grasp of our hearts. It is thrilling to live like that and to know that it is true.
In answer to klschade: Moses and Elijah were translated. Here's one explanation of the term translated: (See several posts that follow this.) "President Joseph Fielding Smith taught, 'It is a very reasonable thought to believe that both Moses and Alma, like Elijah and John [the Revelator], were translated to accomplish some work which the Lord had in store for them at some future day” (Answers to Gospel Questions, 5:38).
Moses and Elijah were there as spirits. Imagine their excitement though. Knowing that at last Christ was on the earth, would soon be the first to be resurrected and that all the righteous 'dead' could be resurrected and experience a physical, perfect body.
Abraham 3: 24-25, "And there stood one among them that was like unto God, and he said unto those who were with him: We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of these materials, and we will make an earth whereon these may dwell; And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them". Scriptures says otherwise. He may be omniscient, but he still wants to see if we will so what he commands.
It is interesting that the questions are about evidence in the Book of Mormon. The respondents have answered well & we can find supporting evidence in the Bible as well. Eccl 12:7 (operative word "return" suggests where we come from) & Jer1:5; 2Cor6:2 & Phil2:12 (Needless to mention why we are here).
I recommend you to be careful not to forget that you are not just a brain. You also have feelings; we all do no matter how hard we try to suppress them or hide them. There are things we can understand intellectually and others merely through the spirit. Look at this video and reflect on the magnificence of our brain and its capacity to think. Also, ponder in the marvellous experience of feeling.

beautifully illustrated and explained in a simple yet powerful way. the spirit witnesses to our hearts the truthfulness of the message.
This is just the best video I have seen on the plan of happiness. I shared it of F.B. and I encourage others to do so as well.
When we die. We don't know when we will die, that's why we should start or continue to live the one true gospel on the whole face of the earth.
Thanks for sharing your experience and testimony, Veronica!
now we are all meet dead from this universe, everyone suffer, but our hope to wait God's kingdom, It will bring joyful and peaceful life.
revelation 21:1 to 7 words says that about the eternal life.
This really raised my spirits after a bad day at school :)
Plan of Happiness is so wonderful!!
God is truly a God of Love.
i love this video For THE PLAN OF THE SALVATION very clear and understable about it all ,,interesting learn alot from this video..
Nice summary of the purpose of life.
The Lord's plan of happiness is true and simple.
Love it! My favorite thing is how you visually wove the Savior into this {color}. Great job!
Wow. Great vid. The Plan of Salvation brings great peace to my life!
God promised us eternal life before this world began. When we choose to follow our savior Jesus Christ and his plan.
2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
(New Testament | Titus 1:2)
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
(Old Testament | Jeremiah 1:5)
Anther one that testifies of the pre moral life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
(New Testament | John 3:17)
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
(New Testament | John 17:17 - 18)
I know we are all children of God the most high. We have been promised all the glory he has...Pretty amazing promise when you stop and think.
Jesus died for our sins, so we are free from our sins.
"Nature shows us only the tail of the lion. But there is no doubt in my mind that the lion belongs with it even if he cannot reveal himself to the eye all at once because of his huge dimension."
Albert Einstein
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is no fear of God before their eyes.
I love this video very much.
Thank you for this video. It is very, very well done. I felt the spirit testify of its truthfulness many times and this is one of those experiences. Very well worded and done. Those who don't think this church is true, Please reconsider. It is true. I know it is true, and you will have a chance to know if it's truthfulness either here in this life or in the next.
Added to Wow- what a beautiful message, so beautifully expressed

wanted to do, rather than what God wanted them to do.
Simply beautiful.
that made me cry great job
Elisa Sarah Banban well I mean how
I am so glad for you! Continue down this path. :)
This video is pretty awesome, I really like the paper cut-out style, you guys should do more of these, they're very clear and simple to understand- I like em!
"If ye love me, keep my commandments" Grace is recieved after all we can do...
grace is by Jesus Christ, law came by moses if is by all we can do then it's not by grace, if we can do it then why did Christ die !!!
the doctrine is that you are saved by grace "after" all you can do... meaning that you are indeed correct that it is the grace of the Lord which saves us. we of our own volition can in no wise earn our way into heaven. however the grace of the Lord is not imparted to anyone and everyone unconditionally. there are requirements, or as the Lord would put it there are commandments that we have to obey and teachings we have to follow in order to be worthy to have that grace bestowed upon us. obedience is the true expression of faith. without the atonement of Christ returning to God would be impossible because all of us on our own fall short of perfection which is the requirement for returning to God. however because of the love and obedience and death and resurrection of the savior we then have that great opportunity to bridge the gap between our weaknesses and the perfection which the Lord requires. think of it in this way... there is a canyon which is 100 feet wide and you are on one side and the Lord and heaven are on the other side. the atonement of Christ acts as the materials to build the bridge and then the Lord Himself acts as a helper. However the Lord is still on the other side of the canyon. For every act of obedience on our part we can move a foot closer to the Lord. The Lord has set commandments and stipulations associated with those commandments. according to those stipulations the Lord has agreed that He will only build His side when we build our side. so for every foot of bridge you build on your side the Lord also builds a foot of the bridge on His side. only when we do everything we can to build our side of the bridge can the Lord build the bridge on His side. and the grace of God comes into play because none of us will build our entire side of the bridge and according to the will of the Lord He can step in and finish the bridge. however it is the will of the Lord that we should do our part. doing all we can to build our side of the bridge is the requirement and as long as we, in the eyes of the Lord, have done all we can then he steps in and builds the rest. this "stepping in" would not be allowed nor possible if it were not for the atoning sacrifice of the Lord on our behalf. without the materials (atonement) the bridge could never be built, but we are the ones that must put forth the faith and obedience to build that bridge and with the help of the Lord bridge the gap that separates us from God.
beautiful!
This explains what we believe so well!
this message is so cool, I want more posts of video.
I am thankful for GPS (Great Plan of Salvation) Without this, I'll be lost.I updated the map and recharge the power every week on Sunday.
Beautiful in it's simplicity! Straightforward and very comforting, Thank You;)
In answer to klschade:
Moses and Elijah were translated. Here's one explanation of the term translated:
(See several posts that follow this.)
"President Joseph Fielding Smith taught, 'It is a very reasonable thought to believe that both Moses and Alma, like Elijah and John [the Revelator], were translated to accomplish some work which the Lord had in store for them at some future day” (Answers to Gospel Questions, 5:38).
He may be omniscient, but he still wants to see if we will so what he commands.
love how this is explained visually. Thank you!!
Very interesting and edifying. I am a Mormon.

For someone who really wanted to understand, a good place to start would be 2 Nephi 2, followed by Alma 40-41.
Genesis chapter 1 vs 26....many lessons in this one scripture....when we were created....
Very nicely done. Important message.
I always thought that way
