I’d just like to clear a few things up...I’m the bride in this episode 🙋🏼♀️
Sitting here and reading all these comments is hard! Not only are you commenting on my body, my shape and my appearance but you’re also commenting on my mum and sisters..ITS A TV SHOW!
I went on it for fun and to see if the professionals could find me a dress I’d love!
YES I HAVE BACK FLAB...I’d had any second baby 5 months before shooting! It’s also a size 8 dress when really I’m a size 12, so yeah it’s gonna overflow a bit lol
YES I LOOK RIDGID...You try walking with a microphone pack strapped between your thighs and wearing heels that were a size to big to walk out in (provided by the show) without falling over!
YES MY MUM HAD A VISION FOR HER DAUGHTER...And I’m bloody glad she did! I thought I wanted a big dress because I’ve lost all confidence in my body since having two babies and a princess would hide my mummy tummy and lack of bum! In the dressing room I didn’t like it, I didn’t want lace, I didn’t want a belt, I didn’t want a figure hugging dress and I was dead set against my mum...what you don’t see is my mum saying “you look beautiful in the princess dress and if it your dream then of course We’ll get it for you” but that all gets cut out because it’s a show and everyone loves some drama!
YES MY LITTLE SISTER CRIED...She’s 9 Years Old, it was a long day (10 Hours to be exact) & We’d gone in with a game plan to go against mum, I’d then changed my mind and it confused her just as much as me! Choosing your wedding dress is a big thing for you and those around you, in the end she chose my veil at the end to go with the dress and I think she did wonderfully well! I’m proud and thank both my sisters and my mum for supporting me so much in this big event in my life!

If anyone thinks they know what they want when it comes to their wedding dress and actually finds it then I applaud you! I tried on three dresses that day (1 was cut out) yes I didn’t like it in the changing room but as I started walking I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and was surprised at what I saw, I loved how the dress shaped me, hugged me right and the train flowing out of the bag gave me goosebumps! I could see joe standing at the end of aisle and laying eyes on me and I knew that my mum was right! I can’t wait to get married in December and see his face for real!
Moral of the story, stop body shaming, stop slating the mums and remember a lot is edited out! also the bride could be reading your comments and it could have a really bad effect on her wether you mean to offend or not :)

I don't think - even with the editing - that the mum said anything wrong. She was honest and very supportive of her daughter. She didn't body shame or judge I think this bride had a very supportive wonderful entourage!
Was there not a third dress she could try? One that does not have the lace or belt that she says she hates? Perhaps any other dress in the same silhouette could have been a suitable compromise.
outloudkat totally agree or even a A-line dress that compromises both silhouettes that the bride and her mother love, there are so many A-line dresses in her budget that would be the perfect combination of what she wants and what mum wants

The first dress really age her. She looks really stiff in it. Maybe it's the coloration, shape, and the type of lace. The second dress is better on her. It flows well, doesn't look restricting and it really brighten up her skin tone. But she will chose what she choose I guess.

Mermaids are ok for a shanty pirate themed wedding but nothing other than that.
Mine was a drop waist ballgown. Rather than flaring at the waist, it continued down a few more inches and flared at the hip, which made my waist look longer and narrower at the same time! It was the best!
Omg, ignoring everything in this episode, the bride is one of the prettiest girls I have ever seen. She seems so genuine and caring and that makes her so beautiful plus her physical appearances it just adds on to the beauty she already has because of her personality.
i love that you said that , this may sound fake but rebecca ( becca ) is my oldest forster sister and she is amazing to talk to , she had the 3rd little girl ( amy ) last year . she is such a good mummy to all 3 of the girls ( haley , lucy and amy ) her husband joe is very funny to be with. Becca supports me and my brother ( birth one ) no matter what and thats what i love about her!

Greg Storian Remember mom's usually want their daughters to wear the princess dress. Usually if the mother is the type to live vicariously through her child someone would have mentioned it on the show. You can't hide that. But it's like what the girls said. Their mother is usually right and they don't want to accept that.

my kid is 36 and I'm still trying to get rid of the baby fat!! I NEVER got my figure back. In the beginning I tried hard, was a size 10 getting preggers and never got smaller than a 12 after the kid. This young woman's figure is fabulous! I bet when she gets her own dress in her own size she'll be a knock-out.
I thought the mom was just being egotistical, but she was actually being intuitive and encouraging (with possibly some ego thrown in there :0) ). This episode was very sweet.

I don't like when they hold the "i'm paying for it " over their head. I paid for my own dress for this exact reason.
I hate this series so much because every single time someone puts the bride down and pushes them to choose something that they didn't actually like or don't feel comfortable in initially and the negativity is just awful... lots of unnecessary drama..

She didn't really want it, just acted happy for mum because the mother was buying it. She will regret her choice, I suspect, but I hope I'm wrong. I will be paying for my dress (and the whole wedding with my fiancé), I'm trying it Saturday and my mum knows the rule: MY MONEY, MY DRESS, MY CHOICE. If she starts gettig negative and too overbearing she can wait outside.

Yest, I found a lovely lace and tulle A-line dress with a halterneck and not too plunging neckline, with a simple, thin stirp of bling around the waist. I am glad she didn't come because it would have made the whole thing more stressful. My bridesmaids want to go shopping some more, but I think it's because they had fun, I know what I'm buying :)

A fitted puffy mermaid dress would have been perfect, as it gives her the puff that she wanted and pleases her mum with that fact that it’s fitted. But that’s just my opinion though.

I like this episode. The whole family is beautiful, united, sweet. I would like to see more dresses because the bride is so pretty, that it would be interesting Just to see more of her in different looks. The Mother is really loving and caring, I can see it. And it is amazing how this figure hugging dress helped the bride to realize that she is still beautiful and sexy. I can relate, I am also a New mom.

The borders that create your mind are much more important and beautiful than the borders that outline your body. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you need to cover up. XTTINAAX you don't know Rebecca, before she had children she'd walk around in booby tops, tight clothes and tummy baring attire. My mum was simply stating the dress my sister chose was a dress she would of worn before children, when she first met her husband to be. That's the meaning behind this statement in this circumstance, nothing else.
Well then we can blame media alteration for that if what you're saying is true. And I wasn't targetting rebecca or her mother, I was using the statements in this particular video as an example that may brain wash young girls watching to become self consious without knowledge of your side of the story.
I thought it came across in an encouraging way and am glad that is what was meant. I think she looks more mature and sophisticated in the fitted dress although both were pretty. I also understand XXTINAAX concern that so often the focus on these shows is to "show off the body".

i think the dress is not really her size but it's pretty normal she needs to adjust it to her body because here we can see she has a pin and the corset back seams a bit tight
The dress was to big for her and she tucked it in with clips; that’s why it looks weird.
I agree with the fitted style but I think the heart line bust of the 2nd looked better, the wedding dress shop should have put her in a heart line snug fitted gown and I think it wouldn't have just fitted her body shape better but she would have been more in love with it.
