Kure coming back could make sense for the lore too with Ash recruiting Deimos. Maybe the comic will show him betray them, again, so they call in someone who knew him back in his prime to track him down.

That’s my theory as well. Since Kure helped Glaz with his new gadget, it would make since for her to come back as a full operator. Maybe she was working in ROS with Sam in the background during the tournament of champions
Or she's Deimos Trojan horse. We still don't know who is a part of Keres legion.

@@varsityreviews707 Same reason why after 2012 Deimos was no longer team Rainbow. People change so do allegiances. Just because she helped Glaz then doesn't mean she won't put a bullet in him now. Morris killed Bogart on a blink of an eye, end let's face it, he was right when he said that Rainbow was a covery unit of apex killers.
I have this image of Sam and Ash going to Clark for help then him saying he'll "make some calls" then Ding and Kure showing up by helicopter at the Rainbow base

Will vouch for that Lore vid. Siege has decent lore for what it is (I usually hate the lore in character based/ class shooters, but Siege I actually enjoy ) and Kudos does a great job breaking it down.

@@dierlesss Apex and Overwatch come to mind. Not trying to put down anyone who likes those lore or characters or saying Siege is some masterclass of writing cause it's not, but it's subtle in comparison to those other 2.
I just really like the way the character Bios and some of the interactions between operators are written.

Just a little thought, Morris mentioned how he wrote the recruit training on his own I believe. Enraged by this knowledge Deimos has always had, Ash wanted to rewrite the training program completely which was said to take months, months that rainbow probably don’t have right now. What if Kure joins as an ex-rainbow operative, and she helps revive the recruit training to something that the Keres legion can’t possibly know anything about? I honestly don’t know, just I thought I had while watching.
i wish they would show more love to the custom community, if they allowed pre-destruction, site lock, full player customization(i.e being able to switch guns, gadgets, utilities with other operators on the same team like ash with jackal tracker or dokkaebi with finka lmg) or allowing us to create fully customizable free for all, deathmatch, golden gun, etc matches like the bomb or secure area games.
edit: i feel like if they did that, then more people would play the game since they dont necessarily have these bare minimum custom settings or going into garbage casual games or extremely sweaty ranked games
I can definitely see the Greek operator being Kure considering the following.
-A Ubisoft asset (their Intellectual Property).
-Established Bio, Pre-existing assets for storyboarding.
-Lore is sound in universe
-Is Greek (Operator slot was confirmed to be Greece).
- Gadget likely to be based around her professional career (spotting or sniping perhaps but ideally she would bring something sight or personal intel based (theory). As such is a good reason for an addition.
-possibly a defense operator (?) I don’t think so considering UBI don’t really divide the teams out equally on operators until they feel like it (every other season like the Italian and The Outbreack duo (lion and finka).
-if defense op she will likely be able to rock a DMR on defense now that it’s more common. (4 years ago I’d call you a loon).
That’s all I’ve got. It would be a pretty big miss by Ubisoft if they didn’t take advantage of the established character.
If we're talking DMR on defense and if Ubisoft wants to reuse in game assets they can give her the HK G3A3 ZF.
Just take either the G8A1 or AR33 frame change up the look to resemble an og G3 give it high damage but slow fire rate slap on a scope and walah you got a DMR.
Now for her gadget I feel as it should be built around the whole sniper concept so maybe something for intel gathering.
I have a feeling she is Trojan Horse for Deimos, after all we know nothing about Keres Legion. From now on every single person added to the game could have their allegiance lying elsewhere. Deimos was once on Team Rainbow too.

it actually does seem more right then snipers being on attackers
@prodmidnxght it makes the same amount of sense, snipers are good for taking out targets that are hunkered in a building (like we have in the game currently) but also could work protectively like a defending sniper would, so not really more or less sense

Aruni and tubarao are great alternatives for sniping on defense. I'm a dmr main and these guns need a nerf with a lot more recoil.
She should be a defender since there are more attackers

What Ubisoft needs to do is just release a whole new r6 game (maybe revive patriots) and have siege remade in the new engine so that they have a better time maintaining the game, but that’s quite the gargantuan task for a small studio like Ubi Montreal

@@michaelbradley8886 They already changed the engine once to make it less taxing on hardware and add more to the game. Though it wasn't a new engine, it changed the way the game felt to me entirely. When they did that, I started hating the gameplay of siege. I still like the game, but if we can get a new upgraded engine based off the original style of the game that'd be dope
they need to just pull a cs2 and rewrite the game for a new engine for y10

Hear me out, Keris could be run by the Templar. I just want it to happen because I'd love for R6 to be a semi grounded crossover which isn't too far fetched since it crossed over with Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell and Flores has an assassin cosmetic, which could be rewritten to be his traditional robes when he directly meets with other members of the brotherhood.

Personally want Five to come in as the new Six. Ash will most likely take that position but still, I want my boy bishop back.
Would make sense, story wise, since Vegas 2 is literally him fighting back against a guy like Deimos. A traitor that killed his old team so he had to form a new rainbow team to get him.
I would love to see a Ghost Recon operator, like Scott Mitchell, i mean we already have Sam Fisher.
what if the Trojan Horse refers to one of the operators being a double agent just as smoke Ella, and more left Rainbow to join nighthaven. What if one or more opps left to or were with Deimos. This one is far fetched but what if the American operator being reworked in Y9S4 is Blackbeard and he was the double agent because not only is he neglected by the fans in his pick rate but also by his team causing him to flip because he is one of the older operators he would've seen what Rainbow was like before Harry if my memory serves me correct. once again I could be wrong but I wouldn't disregard the thought.

That's impossible, Kure Galanos is from Cyprus, not Greece. Even though Cyprus is historically Greek, but she was not born in Greece.

@@erodoujinshilover2811 ah yes balancing two broken ops, reworking a garbage op that should of been removed from the game when they started making the changes they did in 2020-2022 to now, the full release of the marketplace, ban enforcement improvements (seems like you must play at lower rank because the moment i get to plat every other match has someone hacking and it only gets worse the higher my rank goes throughout the season) ontop of all the new player experiences not to mention the backdoor work being done on the game for s3,s4 updates that should hopefully make this game playable again. Not to mention the fact the season is literally free for anyone who had played the game for a reason amount for atleast a year....like if you're so done with the season literally delete the game and come back when they actually add "content" like were not all playing the same game from 2014 still my brother in christ? 🤔 you sound like every other siege player whining about everything ubisoft does yet drops 40hrs a week on the game and snag every elite still 🙄
@@casperthelegend1458 Late reply but brother it isn't fixing the game, there are still cheaters out the wazoo. Have you played this season or watched. This season has no content, no fixes, and is changes for two operators that should take a week at max with a few changes to 2 lines of code and a recruit rework that should also take a week at the longest. There is no reason to huff Ubisoft farts, they are not a good company, not the dev team but the company; look at all there other properties for crying out loud. They are just limiting quality and quantity to shrink what a season needs to pad content. Need I remind you we used to get two new operators per season and a map. This isn't because it suddenly became harder to make the game they just are padding dev time and effort for length with minimal content and changes per season. I haven't played the game since the new season, I have actually moved over to apex and been playing other games like Elden Ring, there is simply no desire for me to play Siege currently. It is sad too because I really like Siege

I mean if you want say for the animation. Kure leads Ash, Buck, Doc, and Deimos to the Keres Legion safe house, they breach in but suprise suprise... its an ambush with Kure revealing herself as the actual leader of the Keres Legion and frees Deimos.
Just when it seems our trio of operators as finished BOOM! Night Haven to the rescue. Think of it as a good way for them to patch up their relationship with Rainbow.
Maybe a carbine rifle or 1 bolt action type rifle on defense

Tom Clancy here, monty will kill deimos in a final stand during a live in-game event year 11 season 1. other operators will die during the event including zero, thatcher, blackbeard, and maverick.
note that this event is in early development and is barely at a good 4% completed, the season will be named "Operation Rebirth" and will feature a new "Graveyard" game mode where you can vist/revisit all of the dead operator's tombstones

Striker is very active and almost looks like she cant wait for the next action, while sentry is very calm... Almost too calm. Maybe Striker is ancious because she has to back stab rainbow, or sentry already knows what is gonna happen so he is just playing along
