IAS is not comparable to any job even RBI.... It provide diverse opportunities, authority , invaluable perks and above all the respect you command by your actions. If money and corporate life had been every thing then people with 50LPA would have not left jobs to clear IAS for 8LPA...the recent toppers like Srishti Dabas was earning 30 LPA in RBI but she left it for IAS, AIR 1 was earning 40 LPA as well.... But most of these guys when they enter services forget the purpose of their service... Forget professional satisfaction because you are not free to do anything on your whims. Remember professional satisfaction is very subjective. A tax paying citizen is also contributing to nation's service.
My uncle is IAS he is tensed 24x7 hardly have we seen him smiling this job is very hectic and pressuring, compare to that my colleague is a grade B officer so much relaxed and he enjoys his life to the fullest so everything apart ias job a very demanding and tough job, grade b very fulfilling job
I request you not to oversell the lifestyles and perks of RBI to achieve target customers for your courses. This is unethical on so many levels. Thank you.

I saw IAS in front of district judge in Court and the judge shouted him so much that time i feel that IAS is not so authoritative..
Bhai ias ek administrative job hai jiski compare tum log managerial job se compare krke cool bn rhe ho....log ias bnne ke rbi ko quit mar dete hai aur suno ek ias officer pr govt hr month 8 se lakh kharch krti hai....30 yard ka bunglow....2 security guard....ek driver.....ek maid......upr se gadi deti hai...jiski value more then 10 lakh hoti hai...aur suno ias ke pura parivar ko a+treatment milta hai no ceiling....aur suno...ias ki prestige itni hoti hai...tumhare rbi ka ka office uske arena me aata hai to ek rbi officer ko notice dekar apne office me kaam pr lga skta hai...aur suno jis state me ias hai us state me ias ki gadi ko rokne ki aukat nhi hoti kisi ki....
Home loan limit in RBI is 30 lacs after 5 year of service.
RBI is better because here the salary is very high more over you haven't see the faces of politicians everyday....
