@@mauricehamington4029 Thanks, will do! I listen to a podcast called Death Panel a lot. Would recommend the episode Lifetime Care with William Bronston as a good intro to the show.

The French surname Guignion has multiple origins:
    • Nickname: From the Old French word grignier, which means "to grit the teeth or curl the lips". These gestures can indicate fierce contempt.

Thx for acknowledging Veganism. Many public philosophers/intellectuals run from the topic bc it hurts their cognitive dissonance.

I agree with your assessment. The book has a whole chapter on veganism, and I have written about it in a few other places.

I just finished reading your book, I think you did a really good job esp articulating concerns about Peter Singer's rationale behind his tance. Peter can be really controversial so the ending of the book describing why carers might find him acceptable really illuminated my own thoughts and feelings about his work. Thanks for caring!

It's nice that you care. But could you ever understand?

    • @mauricehamington4029

I am not sure of the context of your question. Care and knowledge go hand-in-hand. So good caring entails an effort at understanding.
